The glaz for Herbert from the media insane. If this was baker or Wilson in the same situation they would be crucified. People will be shocked when he gets benched or traded in a few years
What glaze??? All these Media talking heads have all been shitting on him for 3 years now and you guys all just spout out what Fitzpatrick, Acho, McCoy, and Nick wright are saying... Instead of listening to actual facts and watching film
Terrible comparison lol. Do you realize how stacked those Chargers teams were ? Like, come on lmao be real They had LT at RB Back at the time where the FB was still important, they had an elite FB in Lorenzo Neal At WR, they had good WRs in Vincent Jackson and Chris Chambers At TE, they had Antonio Gates On defense, they had guys like Pro Bowl OLB Shawn Merriman, Jamal Williams as the DT, and elite guys in the secondary like Antonio Cromartie and Eric Weddle. Quentin Jammer wasn't too bad either. Chargers since Herbert has been on it haven't been that stacked. Never has he had an LT or Gates. Not even close
He really compared winning football divisions to waking up and brushing teeth, this is my first episode watching, and will be my last and I’m not even a chiefs fan lol
He's comparing it because with how bad the AFC West has been until just now, winning it for KC has been as routine as waking up and brushing teeth. Same thing with Brady's AFC East back then
Excuses excuses 😂 5 years in the league n you had Kennan Allen n Mike Williams who were doing good they got rid of them n ekeler to turn Herbert into Josh Allen unfortunately his not Josh Allen
I mean, I get your argument and reasoning, but the facts are the facts. Justin Herbert is not good of quarterback. If we're being honest, he's probably a 3rd or 4th tier of quarterback
What it boils down to is that the chiefs have won a lot. So he feels rich. And when you’re rich is easy to tell everyone who is poor that they just need to work harder.
@@JWLSports and also, it's a bit of the LeBron James in the East syndrome with LeBron James fans where these fans want to emphasize their dominance in other areas like winning divisions because in the grand scheme of things, the main thing that people will judge legends like Mahomes and James for at the end won't be met & that's rings. LeBron James isn't getting 6+ and Mahomes isn't getting 7+. Nick Wright knows this deep down I think as both a LBJ and Pat fan, so the gameplan for Wright is to convince all of us that having virtually everything else outside of the ring count is enough to overtake the other main legend in his level who DOES have the ring count advantage
The issue with the Herbert thing there were a lot people out there who thought that Justin Herbert with his talent we would talking about him how we about Mahomes,Allen ,Burrow Lamar as being that next great quarterback he just hasn’t been that as yet only time will tell because there was debate out there that people thought Herbert was better than Burrow now I don’t know if people feel that way no more
@@JWLSports this is a hot take and it's big picture too. Even if the Chiefs 3peat, I think that'll be the last ring that Mahomes wins most likely. I'm seeing him play worse and worse and next year, Pat will be 30. Kelce will retire very soon as he is now 35. The AFC West is getting better and I don't see why that would stop over time. Tough to see how Pat wins again when later on, you take away Travis Kelce and god knows who will be the #1 after Kelce is gone. I don't see it being another guy on the level of Kelce. From 30 on, Pat Mahomes will start to gradually lose athleticism. Now if they don't win this year, he I think will be more likely to sneak in a 4th sometime later in his career. 4 I think is what he ends with. He's going to be at the stage soon that Brady was in at the start where he's going to have to find a way to try to win with all no name pass catchers basically & where the running game is the focal point of the offense moreso. It was one thing winning recently with no name guys when you still have Kelce, but he'll soon have to win with no name guys AND no Kelce. It's gonna be tough
Justin Herbert Gotta Win Games… He Has Almost No Comeback Wins Or No Clutch Performances Against Elite Teams Through 5 Years Of Football… Supremely Talented But At Some Point We Have To Be Honest… Go Look At Fitzpatrick Latest Analysis Of Herbert, It’s Spot On If You Can Remove Your Emotional Bias
Anytime you're on the side of defending Herbert, you're on the wrong side. Sometimes I think you just want to be the opposite position of Nick Wright, and it always results in you sounding goofy. And stop comparing all these qbs who never made a super bowl with Mahomes its silly
@@JWLSports Justin Herbert seems to get every excuse in the book but doesn't win consistently. People have said he's an all time talent and try to say he is a top 5 QB before this year. Just for context Andy Dalton with an awful Bangels organization was about 9 games over 500 with them. Right now Herbert is a 500 qb.
If he's not great, he's really, really good. I think as far as his standing in the league and how Herbert gets talked about now, this feels a little bit like a remix of Matt Ryan. Was Ryan great ? Not sure. You could argue that his 2016 season was great & maybe even 2012 too, but in other seasons, he was still really good & people had similar questions about Ryan then as they do Herbert now. Matt Ryan didn't come into this insanely stacked team in Atlanta. He had Roddy White and Michael Turner, but outside of that, the Falcons didn't really have this stacked offense. He got that later on with guys like Tony Gonzalez, Julio Jones, and Harry Douglas. That's when Ryan started winning more. If Herbert can get guys with him on the level of a Julio Jones and Tony G, who's to say that Herbert can't win more himself ? Who knows ? Too soon imo to scarlet letter Herbert
Chargers have struggled against teams with a winning record all year (literally 1 win against a team with a winning record). Many of these games Herbert had opportunities to go win the game at the end and didn't. I agree that some people were expecting too much this year from the Chargers, but if the Chargers still can't beat good teams next year then does this become a valid criticism? I'd be interested to start seeing some more original content from you on your takes / evaluations of players / teams rather than the channel being centered around disagreeing with other media narratives.
Herbert is overrated AF Great arm talent thats it. If jalen Hurts or Lamar Jackson and Dak blew a 28 point lead in playoff game it would be the first sentence on obituary with Herbert it never comes up. Wonder why ?
Im here after herbert lead the comeback on the broncos. Like i said you say nothing but facts
I appreciate it!
You weren't making excuses for Baker when he was missing half his team.. you really only want to add context when it's convenient it feels like lol

What a great point. If everyone is sorry at QB. Then P.Mahomes isn't that great and nowhere near the GOAT.
