@@Mr_Dino162, the final possession in the 1st half was an egregious coaching issue for me. Run the ball 3 times to kill the clock! The Broncos gifted the Chargers a field goal, which made it a one possession game at the half.
@tonygomez1807 I agree to an extent. I also feel like he really wants to prove the doubters wrong about Bo but sometimes that leads to putting the team in a precarious position unfortunately.
Bummer for the team their coach's clock management was hideous. Yes Payton deserves credit for getting a team with no financial flexibility to 9-5 ... but what a shame for the players he turns bonehead when everything was going his team's way. Kind of hands last week's gift game (fumble on the half yard line) right back. Regarding running the ball, once the Chargers seized momentum, Payton kind of had to go with what he has more confidence in, which is the short pass game that had worked so well in the first half. I'm not sure it's realistic to lean on the running game at this point, though it was certainly nice to see at least some possibilities that first half. I don't think the defense gets those bad penalties without being slightly shattered that their coach should have been penalized for throwing the ball late in the first half.
@@LoryKohn I understand shifting focus and doing what you think will work but let's not act like Payton even tried to run the ball in the second half. They literally ran the ball 7 times even when they had the lead towards the end of the 3rd quarter. It was working great and he just decided to move away from it. Estime was averaging 5 yards a carry and only got 9 carries on the night that makes no sense. He's afraid to commit to a running back and there's no reason to do that when you have a hot hand.
@@303offroad That statement presumes you are better at evaluating running backs than Sean Payton, only you forgot to name one as your bell cow just as you accused him of doing. Sorry, but you see that as the reason they lost the game while I see the bonehead decision to not just let the clock run out at the end of the first half as the primary culprit. There is also the matter of only throwing one long pass the entire game. Any way you look at it, Harbaugh outcoached Payton. His team had like one penalty the whole game which is another key factor they won. Again, I don't think the team starts drawing bonehead penalties if their coach didn't ruin all the good things they did in the first half by gifting the chargers the three points which were crucial in winning the game.
Young teams have a tendency to do that. This team still has a chance to sneak into the playoffs. We need to give them time and trust the coaches will address these issues they are having.
LOL. This is about the first game where the "scripted plays" actually worked this season. The Broncos were exactly the opposite of what they have been all season... good in the first half terrible in the 2nd. In the 2nd half our O line was atrocious allowing pressure on Nix when the Chargers were only rushing 4, pathetic. The sad thing is the entire team O and D went to shit the 2nd half, they took their foot of the gas and paid the price.
I was at the game. There were a ton of Broncos fans in stadium. Bad penalty hitting Herbert on slide changed the game. And a missed PI on Chargers were huge. Penalties and defensive miscues blew game more than the offense. Bo was insane in first half. Defense plays at its normal level and offense would've been irrelevant in 2nd half.
Maybe the running game problem is way too much rotation. You need Estime to get in rhythm, you need Blake Watson has to get in rhythm, Javonte is CLEARLY not his old self and is a liability. I think that's on Sean, but he has done more good than bad by far, no coach is perfect. Bo has to be nearly perfect to win the game and that is still too much to ask a rookie. Future is bright and I expect better execution in the final 2 games of the season.
Peyton literally just had to stick to his gameplan from the first half on Offense. He literally wrote it in huge letters on his playbook and still didn’t do it 😂.
Lmao. Bo is top 5 in the league in 20 plus yard throws. Chargers were not allowing any deep throws if people actually watched the film. Bo was taking what the defense was giving him and led the offense to 27 points
What weapons is colin referring too. And before this week everybody was saying Nix was throwing downfield too much, he's 2nd to lamar in 20+ yard plays. Now last night the complaint is he checked down all game. You cannot win despite him being a rookie without established weapons. Sutton is a no.2 receiver, no tight ends and no running game.
Why Did we stop giving the ball to Audric Estime in the second half? he was averaging more than 5 yards last night on 8 carries i think he had 2 in the second half of the game. I thought that was bizarre.
I think the play calling wasn't great the mims in the backfield package was no good. in the 2nd half of the game. They got away from what was going so well in the 1st. Combined with some miss calls by the refs i think that was the difference Bo played a great game.
The broncos defense is folding at the wrong time of year. Bo is fine, but he can't play all 4 quarters without a running attack to supplement him. Not many qbs can do that.
WE chiefs fan, only concern nowadays ARE POST SEASON GAMES , Patrick Mahomes has 15 post season wins 3rd all-time But no wins over the other afc west teams
He didn't bring them out of nowhere the Chiefs are King in that division right now and that all stops next season because the Broncos are going to get a lot better and so are the Chargers the only place the Chiefs are living rent-free is in your head all because you're the one that said it

Calling the Chargers Defense Great, when it just gave up 40 last week to Tampa and even 27 to the Broncos last night, is wild. Talk about hyperbole. This year there are 0 Great Defenses, much less the Chargers Lol.
Denver has to be great to compete with chargers, and chiefs in the future. Chargers are going to get better also .The Afc west is a problem the coaching and qb talent we need some stars to compete are top players other than Bo don't show up when we play a playoff caliber team we have closed the gap but it's a up hill climb
He worked with Sean. Their friends. I heard Colin saying that he's never worked with a smarter football guy than Sean. And Colin has worked with a lot of former coaches and players.
I hope Collin is right I want my Broncos to make the playoffs so bad 😅
This is the worst roster Bo Nix will play with and They could finish the season 10 and 7, The future is so bright for Denver Broncos
Broncos have ZERO running game, haven't had 1 single 100 yard rusher all season! Not freakin 1! I just hope Broncos make it in the playoffs
Just think, not a single 100 yard rusher, and we STILL have 9 wins
@metroidplayer2 right, if they had a running game they would have more wins, I just want a 7 seed and il be happy, next year they will be even better
Estime was cooking the first half, then for some dumbass reason Payton took carries AWAY from Estime. Coaching lost us this came

Because Williams was doing
better
Some of the run game issues was Payton not running the ball. This loss is on Payton
It sucks because it feels like he doesn’t trust his RBs

Why won't any of these people just say what it is? We got refed like a motherfucker!

I thought it didn't look right. Thanks!@@bmagic9372
I agree the future is bright for my broncos
Why yall acting like the broncos are a sorry team.. they aren’t they have a young star receiver one of the best secondaries in the league..
Mims is a gadget guy. Doesn't even play on most downs. If that's who you're referring to.
Thank you for the light in the dark, bro
Thank you! I appreciate it!
Everyone said Broncos weren't supposed to win that game. But they should've won that game. It's frustrating.
4:30 Now you excuse him as being rookie in defeats,
Completely exaggerate him in wins,
PM15 has proven to be a problem to entire NFL, his 1st starting season as an example
Not that this is ever a BAD THING for any QB,!
But i saw a lot of YAC. for Denver
3:48 No thats were your wrong has the Chiefs played any of the other 3 divisional afc west teams in the post season?
Asking rhetorically?
Give it 3 yrs for these rookie qb. Broncos making the playoffs is nice.

Chiefs will always have the best QB and best coach in the division
😂😂😂 okay
Nothing is forever
Always….don’t think so….Reid will retire and so will Mahomes then what
Always..
Tell me you're a bandwagon chiefs fan without telling me you're a bandwagon chiefs fan.
Always? like in 1997 when the Broncos came into Arrowhead with Shanahan and Elway and beat the Chiefs in the playoffs? 🎉
WE chiefs fan, only concern nowadays ARE POST SEASON GAMES ,
Patrick Mahomes has 15 post season wins 3rd all-time
But no wins over the other afc west teams
So the media isn't going say that this loss means Bo has hit the rookie wall or regressed? I guess that's reserved for Jayden Daniels 😂
If Jayden Daniel’s was doing check downs it would be a problem
I never saw those twitter football incels call out on Daniels vs Philadelphia Week 11. People for some reason hate Nix.
But the defense didn't play like they can last night at all bo was really the only bright spot in the game
The chiefs are not worried 😂
Yeah, they sure are. They've been LUCKY this year... and you know it.
Screen plays are not check downs
The chargers and broncos played, and Julian brought the chiefs outta nowhere. Living rent free.

We all do wdym?
Julian are the Broncos your team?
I think Julian likes broncos and Nix a lot. Which is cool with me because I'm a bronco fan.
