Hey Nic! Totally agree-Season 7 is shaping up to be incredible! Bones is absolutely nailing the animation, and I can’t wait to see this arc fully brought to life. And yeah, the JJK comparisons are tired. MHA stands out by focusing on heroes as a profession, diving into the complexities and challenges that come with it. It’s got its own unique vibe. Deku and Bakugo get misjudged a lot, too. Their growth has been amazing-Deku’s wrestling with what being a hero truly means, and Bakugo’s finally confronting his own demons. That said, I understand the criticism of tropes and side characters. Some arcs do lean on familiar shonen formulas, and the other students definitely deserve more focus. I’m a bit nervous about the anime ending, though. The manga’s final arc felt rushed despite its powerful moments, hence the reason i don't rate it as highly. Here’s hoping the anime takes its time and delivers the emotional payoff it deserves!

When I started it was 500 episodes and out of big 3 one piece was hardest to get into. But gave it chance Shanks made me watch 500 episodes. I dropped one piece anime after 500 and started manga which is even better.

I’m surprised at the fans you’ve run into. Usually one piece fans hype it, but don’t insult other anime because they’re one piece fans. Your opinions are pretty in line with most people who’ve started OP in the past couple years. Arlong park is to me the definitive point of one piece. Some people aren’t hooked before then (I was), but if you can watch through AP and not be hooked, sadly, one piece isn’t for you. My thoughts on thousands of OP eps vs a dozen other anime is that every arc of One Piece is a whole new setting. Styled after different places or mythologies in our world. That’s how it stays fresh. And yes the English dub kinda sucks, but I’ve been watching a reactor who’s watching dub and I’ve found some of the characters are actually good. And just like you, it’s a lot easier to multitask to the dub. I am worried for you though. If you are complaining about the pacing in East Blue… oh boy. There are a couple of arcs later on that.. well you’ll wish for 4 wasted minutes is all I’m gonna say 😅

Dude, it's not overhyped. Wait until you get to Water 7 / Enies lobby, Sabaody 1, Marineford, Sabaody 2, Dressrosa, Wano and/or Egghead, you'll see why it's not overhyped. All arcs are awesome, but those particular ones are something else...

As a MHA fan, I really don't like Studio Bones working on movies. The adaptation of Season 5 suffered because of that and other factors. The MVA arc was butchered in the anime. Also I saw first 15-20 minutes of the third MHA movie. Everyone is behaving so out of character in that one. The events of the movie are not even referenced in the anime series.

I actually heard that the director of this film originally wanted this movie to actually be a Yuri anime Film and apparently there's actually supposed to be a remake of this film that has the Yuri in that because apparently he was really disappointed that he had to remove that to do. His usual Boy meets girl type thing because originally he wanted to try doing a Yuri story for the movie Suzana

You missed one, Overlord's movie is Cannon chapters that the anime skipped over. These chapters were in the middle of season 4. It really messes up the watching experience.
