Ah the classic clickbait of "here's a screenshot of Suzume whilst the title of the video is NEGATIVE about anime movies so that people will click my video wondering why I don't like Suzume when I intentionally misled them to talk about something else entirely". Sure, it worked, but you can have my dislike and only half my attention span.
I think one perk to anime movies is that there is less of a commitment then watching multiple seasons of a show. The downside is as you said: theaters are expensive nowadays. Also my favorite anime movie is the professor Layton one
To be honest, it does suck when I show that you like doesn’t get an animated movie and I’m a victim of that because there is a show that I wished got it animated movie
As a MHA fan, I really don't like Studio Bones working on movies. The adaptation of Season 5 suffered because of that and other factors. The MVA arc was butchered in the anime. Also I saw first 15-20 minutes of the third MHA movie. Everyone is behaving so out of character in that one. The events of the movie are not even referenced in the anime series.
one of the reasons i think they're doing this is because anime DVD/BD sales tend NOT to be profitable, EVEN some big name series.... so this kinda "forces" people to pay money to watch them, especially if its canon and since the industry is in shambles its a way to "guarantee" money and while yes, while the Demon Slayer movie was canon, don't forget Dragonball did the canon movie thing first like a decade ago
I feel so vindicated in being a Demon Slayer h8r. Not because I criticized them on this point but because it means I’m not a fan and therefore am not to blame for this trend 😂😂😂
You missed one, Overlord's movie is Cannon chapters that the anime skipped over. These chapters were in the middle of season 4. It really messes up the watching experience.
I actually heard that the director of this film originally wanted this movie to actually be a Yuri anime Film and apparently there's actually supposed to be a remake of this film that has the Yuri in that because apparently he was really disappointed that he had to remove that to do. His usual Boy meets girl type thing because originally he wanted to try doing a Yuri story for the movie Suzana
I'll be honest I watched the Fullmetal alchemist series (not brotherhood) never knew there was a movie😂😂 Also I am very afraid of what they will do with the next haikyuu movie. I hear there's a lot of the story to go over

I’m so confused. They know their fans hate recap episodes yet they make recap movies. How does that make any sense?

I was so worried that they would make Mha into a movie for the final arc
W take

Even that. The movie cuts alot so it was better off as an anime season than what they decided to make it a movie.

Yeah that’s the problem with some of those canon movies, they’ll end up having to skip stuff to make it fit 😮💨
The thing i cant stand about anime movies is that they take a full year to get an american relese
ICA gon move mountains
I love the game controllers you got in the background
