I have the Dreame X30 and it's really good, I don't think the X40 offers enough new features to upgrade. I do think spinning mops are better so I wouldn't even consider the S8 Max V. Roborock is really going to town with the Q revo series. I have the original Q Revo and it's excellent.

Their product range is absolutely impossible to understand.. without your videos, I wouldn't even bother buying one.. they really need to sort out their product lineup. More is not better

A smaller internal dustbin is'nt a problem in real situations. When cleaning the room often, the dust doesn't build up that much.

So far which robot vacuum is the best at picking up litter?

In Australia - Dreame L10s Pro Ultra Heat ($1297) OR Roborock Qrevo MaxV ($1448) - Spec'd so similar, +Roborock has Vacuum Liftup when Mopping - which one is better overall or for operating in the dark room, corridors or even at night 50/50 floor vinyl/lowpile carpet? also pet hair, dust.

I was struggling for several hours studying these different models. I wished I found your video earlier and saved those hours.

Hi Jaime! Love your videos. Having a hard time deciding between the roborock q revo (probably the plus) this dreame x40, and maybe the eufy s1. We have a cat and downstairs is hardwood with a rug and upstairs is all carpet. What would you recommend based on that?

My top priorities are obstacle avoidance (pet toys) and vacuum + mopping on hardware floor (with some carpets) + something that is “set it and forget it” (self emptying, true hot water washing, etc). 5:00 Their claimed temperature is most likely at the outlet of, or even inside, the water heating unit. It's likely that the water cools that much as it travels from the water heater to the cleaning base.

All the models can sure be confusing but the Q Series is a good value

The models that have expendable mops, do the mops extend under couches or is it just for corners

Torn between a price reduction on my original Q Revo or return/pay a little more for the Master. The original does pretty good at taming my dog's shedding, but it's not perfect... Is the Master (or slim) worth a $400+ price difference? What would you suggest your top picks are for mixed floors with high surfing dogs, even if it's not a Q Revo?

Jamie roborock doesn't leave the mop pads on the station when vacuuming? I just bought the slim version and first tested mopping then vacuum and it came with the mops didn't wet the floor but still.

Qrevo master or dreame x40? Both are close to the same price currently. It seems like the dreame has better object avoidance but the roborock has the better app and support. Are they about equal in hard floor and carpet vacuum performance?

I wanted to get the curv but unfortunately it is not available currently in the UK. The qrevo master was discounted singifcinatly on amazon this black friday so I ended up biting the bullet. I'm happy with it so far! Thank you for the video.

since Freo Z don't carry a water tank on the robot, will the mop get dry easily and need frequent back to the dock to wet the mop?

I love your reviews! I know this is an old review, but based on sale prices, I have the option to purchase the Dreame L20 or the Roborock Q Revo Plus. I'm looking for a dependable robot with excellent mopping ability that can still do a very good job of vacuuming our low pile area rugs. We have two dogs who shed constantly. Which would you choose? I got a high pitch almost beeping sound which was seemingly coming from suction, did you get this what was your opinion of noise?

I know this is 7 years ago! But I notice that your car rpm goes up and down when braking. Is that normal? Or did you end up finding a fix for it?

I sell both Roborock and Dreame robot vacuums and have been for a few years. We handle all warranty issues through our stores without relying on either of the companies. Now that we've had both brands for a few years this is what our statistics look like right now when it comes to issues and warranty-covered repairs: Roborock has a warranty/repair rate of roughly 8% of every unit sold in our store. Dreame has a warranty/repair rate of roughly 4% of every unit sold in our store. This is just over 2,5 years of data. Just to finish with another point: People satisfied with their product rarely leave post on forums as opposed to people unhappy with whatever issue they might have. Which is why our industry never puts any weight on simply what customers say - we rely on qualified repairmen to give us the feedback and statistics. Also in my own anecdote - I've had both, and can say personally I much more prefer Dreame X40. That said, keep up the good work!
