I've had pretty sub-standard experience with Ecovacs and I've had 2. The first one was replaced due to navigation issues and the 2nd one was little better. No more Ecovacs for me, thanks.
Do you know when the qrevo slim review will be out? There's a rather substantial sale on it at a local store, so I'm trying to decide before the sale expires.
Jamie love the videos but could the carpet tests be more rigorous. I've been testing three robots and not one could pick up a piece of cotton on the carpet! Hard items like rice are much easier as they sit on the carpet. Try the cotton test when you get a minute 😊
Not officially, but I expect it will. Well now you know how I feel about AI and since I work in IT I can tell you I'm doubtful it will have actual real AI. Narwal is the closest and I think they just have good programing for it and don't even call it AI themselves.
7:54 that happens to my dreame X40 ultra if I run out with the obstacle avoidance on. I assume their software is just trash and needs an update but I don’t even run mine with the obstacle avoidance on anymore because it spins in circles like you’ve shown here. These companies need more quality control in their software updates.
Yes I reviewed the X40 and mentioned how it thought everything was an obstacle. I'm getting ready to power it back on for a comparison with the S8 MaxV soon so we shall see.
I have a QRevo that “broke down” in the dumbest way. I’m getting a full refund. It was discounted to 650 euros. Qrevo Master is not only 250 euros more. I have no carpets and two longish haired cats that create an insane amount of loose hair. There also is litter now and then. I don’t really care about object avoidance but I do care about mopping quality. Would the master be a good choice for the 900? Which one would you pick?
Hello, you hearted my previous comment but I got no reply. 🙁 can you please share links of tools you are using to make your tests? Temperature during washing, humidity on carpet, etc...
@Fantomas-HiTech Could be. Here is what I wrote: That is a good idea, unfortunately the only one still available is the moisture meter. Search Amacon for General Tools LCD Moisture Meter
I have the T9+ and the application looks exactly the same as it did 4 years ago - it is atrocious and every now and then I have to redo the floor plans because the robot cannot position itself in the right spot.
Thanks for the great review, very disappointing to here but consistent with my ecovacs experiences. I was wondering about the T30, as I think that faired better? What top vac/mop for hardwood/carpets would you recommend right now?
I have not reviewed the T30s because I reviewed the Yeedi M12 Pro+ which is the exact same robot minus the built in voice assist. You can see that review here. ua-cam.com/video/nFonrhKt2Sc/v-deo.html First I need to know your budget before I can help with that. Also let me know more about your wants and needs.
@@jamie.andrews thanks for the questions. 5 people in the house including three young kids and a dog. Hardwood on the main floor and upper floor carpet and basement is carpet, we're looking for a medium to high end robot in terms of pricing. Thanks for your help. I feel like this year the robot vacuums have really exploded in terms of capabilities. I started using Roomba about 15 years ago and than progressed to ecovas and recently had to return the deebot t20 but was happy with the actual cleaning it could do.
Really disappointing but Ecovacs has always been behind in the industry. This does not look good to call a flagship robot. Considering they haven't been able to figure out the bugs of their other robots either they leave issues standing and just make their next robot. unimpressive.
That is sad. It should've performed well for a camera. The only added benefit of the camera is that you can spy on intruders in your house. But even then, you'd have to shut up its voice prompts to sneakily record an intruder. The Yeedi M12 is probably bullying it.

When is the review for the q revo slim coming out?
This Sunday!
i look forward to it
What’s your favorite all in one so far? Even if price was not a concern. I have mostly hardwood/tiles.
Stay tuned as this video will be out soon!
@@jamie.andrews I appreciate the suspense, subscribed thank you! looking forward to it
@@JoshuaRyanNelson20 Thanks!
Thank you for the review. They are very useful!
Glad it was helpful!
Jamie, have you heard any rumors about what features (if) the Roborock S9 will be announced at CES 25? I have heard it will also claim “AI” (?)
Not officially, but I expect it will.

They better soon!

Id likely just go with the Pro or Plus model if you can. The dustbin in the Master is too small imo. I have a review for the Pro model on my channel.
Don’t like vac but video is very good

I did actually reply. I just looked at it again and my replay is there. Let me know if you don't see it.

Yes! I just went through that with this one. It decided the dock was 5 feet from the wall for some odd reason. Just buggy.

@@Sheps246 Take a look at the Roborock Qrevo Curv. I have a review out for it.
I swear, everyone is using “AI” in their branding/marketing now. It’s the buzz word and so annoying.
This feels especially poorly timed, given the reports of Ecovacs vacuums being hacked through a known vulnerability.
Yea it is all just not good for them. This one is getting powered off just like the others that I have.

Yea it started getting bad with the X2. Their app has always been less than great.
