I had some 3/4oz and 1oz jigs with 2/0 hooks. Also used 1/2oz for shallow water

Were those bird of prey jig heads?

@ Bottom sweeper jigs. Surprisingly didn’t lose any that day. I’ll have to check out birds of prey jigs

@@LaYakFishing yeah my Mississippi friends use birds of prey. Same concept though. Nothing wrong with some seared fish brother! Those tacos looked on point!

Bottom fishing with shrimp is really fun, as long as the hard heads stay away! Yea try em, it’s worth it.

I like the 2000 and 2500 series reels for casting all day on a medium rod. Landed that bull on the Penn 2000. I like a beefier reel like a 4000 for cut bait or sheepshead fishing.
