This SHEEPSHEAD was my biggest one yet in DEEP water (NEW PB!)

- In this video, I caught my PB Sheepshead in deep water using dead shrimp on bottom sweeper jigs. Winds picked up gradually as the day went on making it harder to position a kayak near the bridge. As I kayaked around, many dolphins started swimming around me and I captured some rare footage of them feeding in shallow water.

I'm a simple man. I see a new LA Yak Fishing video, I click and watch.
I am also a simple man. I see a zaknotzak comment, I like and heart it
That was so cool with the dolphins near you!!! that breakoff hurt 😵💫 Man those sheepshead put up a fight! That's a beautiful fish! That was a thick fish!! Congrats on the PB 👊 that was cool getting some stone crabs from that guy! Awesome with the dolphins in the shallows at the end. Great video brother!!
That break off hurt so much, I could feel the line rubbing, at least I knew it was most likely gonna happen. Dolphins do hurt the fishing, but can’t be mad at that, they are always so cool to see. Better than sharks! Thanks for watching man!
Looks like grand isle! I need to get back down there this spring.
Congrats on the new PB! I wonder if that first one was an even bigger Sheeps! And super rad footage of the dolphins! Keep the videos coming!🙌
I thought the same thing, I’m saying it’s a red to make myself feel better 😂
I was kayaking and fishing 🎣in Boynton Beach in the intercostal and was surrounded by Black Tip sharks 🦈 was very cool! 😎
That sounds cool, and slightly terrifying. Can see them more in that clear water I’m sure.
The dolphins will definitely get the heart rate up when they blow up next to the yak!
Seriously man, I know they “friendly” but anything the length of a kayak, I’m keeping my eye on ya
Nice one buddy! Did you think bleeding it helped with the taste?
It still had a blood line, and the meat didn’t taste as good as the smaller ones iv had in the past, still pretty good. I think 14”- 18” might be the better ones to keep.
Is this back at Lillian?
No, this is in Louisiana, but the bridges do look very similar
@@LaYakFishing I'm headed out in a bit
@@randallwhiteman4682 let me know if they still there
