- Relaxing afternoon trip catching Bream in the shade of the cypress trees. Almost all good size caught with K-fred float popper rod with a slip cork rig and crickets as bait. I lost some expensive gear on this trip also. My Gopro is swimming with the fishes now.
Some really good bulls!!
All that other stuff bound to happen with all the fishing and ‘navigating’ we do in those woods. Just part of the process even though it’s frustrating (and can be expensive). Hope the repairs go quickly.
I’m still using a Hero 7 GoPro and know that it’s on its last legs. Don’t want to fork out the $$$ yet.
Great catches and views. Awesome.
Ps… I dropped 2 of the biggest bulls and chickens I’ve ever caught back into the water yesterday at Lake Martin. Just had to laugh.
Good luck next trip!!!
@@ThePentUpAngler That was a Hero 7 I dropped. Been having it since before I started this channel. It was on its last leg also. What a way to get rid of it lol. I think we should wait until September at least, when new ones release, prices will drop also on last generation models. I hope you post those fish drops, it’s always pretty funny. I don’t mind some getting away, but still hurts. Look forward to more videos!
That pavillian is just out there in the middle of nowhere? Pretty cool setup! dude...love the Grinch input 🤣😂 Man, so many big beautiful Bluegills brother!! That really sucks with losing the gopro to the lake 😵 then the reverse cable. Another great outing👊
The lake giveth and taketh away. Things happen, now I get to go shopping! Yea, all I can think is live music goes down on that pavilion. I bet that’s an experience. Thanks for watching!
Go shellcracker fishing next they love worms. I love watching your channel I’m from New Iberia, La. God bless you keep enjoying nature Gods creation
Yea no chinquapin’s at all yet this year, I can try worms. Glad you enjoy watching!
Also try crankbaits for bream and crappie heard they work really well in the summertime. They show to setup your line for them on YT and TikTok.
Some nice ones! Keep the content coming man! Love to watch especially when i cant get out there myself with work in all . Feel like im out there with you.
Good to hear, I feel the same way, I watch many other people on UA-cam just to pretend I’m there.
Awesome video as always! Such a cool environment to fish in and nice catches! Bummer about all the mishaps. Just a little something to help out!👊
I was just monetized a month ago, and this is my first SUPER thanks, I’m very grateful! Gonna put it to use, gotta pay for these hobbies man, nothing cheap anymore. Thanks for that and appreciate you 👊🏼
@@LaYakFishing Always feels amazing to get the super thanks. Wanted to pass on that feeling. Keep it the great work!
KEEP UP THE VIDS🎉!
Thanks Cy!
Just found your channel and really enjoyed it! I'm a new UA-camr myself in Louisiana and I take my son out in our pirogue. So, I'm looking forward to checking out your videos and discovering new spots. Thanks!
@@FatherSonFishing-xo3cm oh man, that’s great you started a channel with your son, that will be some good memories to look back on. I’m gonna check it out, i am still learning every trip myself. Right now is a perfect time to get on some bream, hopefully with some shade too. Good luck on your channel
@@LaYakFishing Thanks, appreciate ya! Yeah, we 're having a great time and it will definitely be something we can look back on. Trying to make sure we contact and support fellow Gulf, especially Louisiana, angling youtubers along our journey. Hopefully we see ya out on the water sometime!
Now I know where to go pick up a free go pro! 😂😂 I’m kidding man that sucks! Looked like an expensive trip ! Caught some really nice perch though man.. enjoyed it buddy! 🛶🎣🐟
Yea man I’ll send you the coordinates lol. Yea still a nice day. Thanks !
Nice set up with a depth finder on your yak.
Thanks, mostly use for depth and locating drop offs
Looked a bit like one of my releases LOL Sorry about the camera, dropped mine once, but got lucky and got it back. Looks like it was just one of those days. Shake it off and keep up the great work.
If it was actually waterproof, I would have gave it more time and thought on actually retrieving it, but I knew it was over hah! Ya can’t be a fishing day without some mishaps, part of the game! Thanks Larry
I tore them up a few weeks ago I was fishing about two feet with stopper. Nightcrawlers shellcracker love those. I’m about to try crankbait setup for bream and crappie I seen that recently on TikTok
Things happen it was still a great day
Right about that, gotta stay positive
Do some hobie maintenance vids for sure!
Yea, I might, good idea
Also can you use crankbait one day to see if they can catch any bream or crappie
U missed game night for this?!?!
@@huhbruheditz hahaha caught me
Not good loosing your camera I have a phone down in those trees also
Yea, I’m good with jumping in, dont need a snapping turtle taking a bite. I also have a phone in Lake Martin many years ago
