I meet Kevin Uebanks - he was in my restaurant and bar - he was very genuine and polite. The server came to me and said’ I think he’s famous..?’ She said go look. I walk by , asked if needed anything,he said ‘ no I’m good thanks’. Smiled, payed his bill had a couple laughs on the phone and walked out. The laugh sealed any suspicion he was anybody else. The credit card was in his name too.

In the 90s, I'd mostly watch Letterman over Leno, but I never missed headlines on Monday or Jay in the Street. I'd usually pick between Letterman and Leno based on the guest, and would never miss Norm McDonald as a guest. My favorite back then was Conan. A lot of these late night talk show hosts these days spend way too much time bashing one political side, instead of insulting both sides like they used to do pre 2012.
