You know it... this guy was absolutely hilarious. Just his expressions had me rolling on the floor at times. I never watched another late night show after he was forced out. I felt he was better than Carson.

Plus, instead of "I'll make an automatic room air deodorizer," or "Let me get started on a universal socket wrench to obsolete a conventional mechanic's socket set," what designer says "By George, I've got it! Let me make a practice golf machine for sitting on the toilet"?? His mind must be a complete row of cabbages 😵☠️
I grew up in the Johnny Carson days. At first I didn't like Leno but grew to love him in the 1990s. Little did I know how much I'd miss him and those days.
I've never seen Jay lose it as hard as he did at that "Toilet Golf" ad. That was absolutely hysterical!
He was the best.

I saw a toilet golf set in a thrift store. I literally burst out laughing because of how hard Jay laughed at it.
I miss Jay, Kevin, Johnny, Ed, and Doc. Today I'd rather watch paint dry.

Leno was awesome! I remember when I was around 9 or 10, staying up with my dad to watch these. Every break my dad would tell me, “last one! Get to sleep!” Those were the days!

I think the sustained laughter at the "Toilet Golf" clip is perhaps second only to the "Sis-Boom-Bah" bit from one of Johnny Carson's "Carnac" segment 😂
Leno's reaction to the toilet golf is the most joyful sight and sound on UA-cam.
I'm glad Jay & Kevin found another project...You Bet Your Life game show. Jay's wit & Kevin's laugh are worth watching again.

The toilet golf ad at 5:20 is the hardest I ever heard Jay & Kevin laugh during the Headlines segment.
Headlines were the only reason I watched Jay Leno. The hosts today aren't funny and can't hold a candle to Jay Leno's headlines

5:15 is toilet golf. I saw this when it originally aired, and Jay laughed hysterically a while before revealing the headline as well. I'm sure he had to order it for the kitsch value and still has it in his garage... Hopefully not in his bathroom though.

There's a tragic reason why that caption about the triplets included their circumcision. Maj. Berryman was beaten and tortured when he was held by the Iraqis. As with other Americans, the Iraqis accused him of being Jewish because he was circumcised.

Me and my roommate used to watch Jay and Dave. We would watch Dave live and then VCR Jay and watch it the following breakfast. I enjoyed his headlines more than Dave's top 10. I also liked his Beyondo, Iron J, a letter to my Russian friend, video calls to President Bush/his Mexican friend/that cult leader who thought there was a spaceship beyond the comet. His best jokes were reserved for Kevin (the band leader -- remember him coming out of a treasure chest?) and John Tesh. Good times! :-)

I have enjoyed the Tonite Show since I was a child. Jay made it fun & laughter is the best medicine. I enjoyed watching Headlines over the years. I agree late night programs have become very political, it's just the change in what's funny in life.
