Great Song

This has been my personal anthem since I heard it when I was a sophomore in highschool in 1976.

I was a teenage drummer when this came out. I Love that you love it.

It's a tough one but this might be my favorite Black Sabbath album.

React to Ozzy's first 2 Solo albums!!! Im telling you its equal to if not even better than Sabbath!!!

When Dio came into the band it changed. It was a different feel. Sabbath with Ozzy was more creative. I first heard Black Sabbath when I was 10. That's when their debut album was released. There were other great bands during that era but Sabbath was different and every year I'd get the next record. It was a real treat to see a fresh album cover in the "B" slot at the record store. Those days, sadly, are gone forever. It really was a different time.

Hard Road is a great track, probably the only track that I really have an unlimited playtime with from this album. This track has a meaning that fits well with difficult times, when you need to grind through.

Sabbath had different singers, Ozzy, Dio, Ian gillan, Glenn Hughes, Tony Martin. Changing line ups, but the ever present leader Tony Iommi. Iommi, is Sabbath.

Tony Iommi created heavy metal guitar playing. Down tuned signature. Terry geezer Butler, the greatest metal bassist was the lyricist, Bill ward the drummer, best metal drummer of all time, and of course Ozzy. Metal was created when they bought out Black Sabbath, their first album in 1970. They stopped being a band in 2017.

I'll give you a dark horse suggestion. The song, "Kiss of Death" from the 'Forbidden' album featuring the vocalist Tony Martin. It's a massively underrated, almost unknown gem featuring one of Tony's heaviest, darkest riffs ever.

Ronnie was invited to be Sweet's vocalist and would have since leaving Rainbow, but Andy Scott was voted against two to one by the other guys. Que sera sera.

VERY interesting. I bought this album in 1976 and that's a TOTALLY different version of Rock 'n Roll Doctor than what's on the original LP.

I always thought of this aa the very best and favourite of all the 70s albums but a revaluation is the best quirky album they ever made because of the weird nuances it has all over it .

Bill Ward is criminally and immorally underrated ...

No one seems to remark how original is that song . The main riff is bass based, Tony Iommy is just adding some guitar noise . One of the most original riff with Supernaut . Sabb had a real prog spirit, but they kept all their song audible for every ears.

Give the album 13 a go Brother 3 of the 4 Originals minus Bill ,which ,is of course a crime against humanity. Wasnt keen on it af 1st but it really grew on me which is usually a sign of an album I'm gunna love 🤣

Ozzy has some absolutely raw ass vocals in the Sabbath catalog Try Megalomania if you havent! Or Hand of Doom! Best band to smoke to, and its not even close

I got this album as an eight track tape as a Xmas gift in '76 from my parents when I was 18. I spent the whole day listing to it over and over again.

Bill sang "Swinging the Chain" on NSD. Good singer and his Ward One album is a very good listen.

if you wanna hear Sabbath playing at their best and heaviest live with ozzys voice sounding fuckin crazy check out the live albums "Live in Asbury Park 1975" and "Live at last" from 73, the songs are sound raw as hell its crazy any bootleg of the og lineup or old ozzy is worth the lsiten

Best Sabbath album of them all. So much genuine emotion built in. Best very loud so you can feel it. Hole in the Sky rips.

Usually, I suspect these reaction videos are bullshit, but you look young enough. If so, I wouldn't recommend this particular album.

All Moving Parts for me was the highlight this album. I was stoked when this album came out in 1976 and I listened this to death.

It really warms my soul to see a young dude discover this Sabbath journey. If its Sabbath its A-OK with me. And imagine this, they were in a drug induced downward spiral at this time. Ozzy left before Never Say Die to do a solo project just to return to finish it. They would be firing Ozzy within a a year after the NSD tour.

Definitely try to get back to Dio era.

Seriously, check out: 1) The album "Iommi", especially the song "Meat" (he even turned down Eminem!); 2) The album "Headless Cross, espeicallt "When Death Calls" (when Tony Martin was their singer; Iommi always picked great singers); and 3) The album "13". Also, check out his wife's band's 2 albums. The band is an all-female band from Sweden called "Drain "STH" (the STH stands for "Stockholm). He even wrote one of their songs ("Black"). Also, the Japanese band (3 guys in their early 60's) called "Ningen Isu", whose main influence was Black Sabbath. The lead guitar player even has an autographed Iommi Gibson SG. Especially start with their song "Heartless Scat". Very clear Sabbath/Iommi influence.

Oh yea I bought this as soon I looked at it when it was new on vinyl ..Had no idea what it would sound like but the Sythy sound pis s eed me off on Back STREET KIDS..It was like where is Toni with his muthu f ukin guitar even though they did have some heavy synth with Sabotage, I was young and ignorantly being a teenage snob ..Anyways time has passed and this album is a 5x album to me now .../ Too bad that Ozzie did leave Sabbath in 79 and if Ozzie would have stayed with the band at least until 1985 just imagine what those 80s albums would have been like .. Dio is a great vocalist but that original formula was lost when Ozzie left // Now wait for Ian Gillan from Deep Purple with Sabbath after Dio left ..

There are two people that completely revolutionizes music that most people don't know anything about and don't understand the magnitude of what they did for music; namely, Little Richard (rock) and Tony Iommi (metal).

I don't think you're giving the music writer, Tony Iommi (eye-OWE-me) enough credit. Geezer was writing the lyrics when Ozzy was singing. Dio took over writing the lyrics after Ozzy left. You should react to the Headless Cross album with Tony Martin singing, especially the song When Death Calls. Also, yes, you should continue with Dio, and above all I strongly suggest you check out the album "Iommi", which features a different singer on each track, including Ozzy. There is more Ozzy on the album 13.
