Oh, forgot. This song is about Ozzy losing his Dad. The incredible pain he experienced with the accompanying grief and alcohol usage is what led to his dismissal in early '79. After that he pulled himself together, paired with Randy Rhoads and a great drummer and bassist to form his own branded band. Definitely worth checking out.
This album features Bill Ward's favorite song to play. Iommi came up with a cool metal jazz song called Air Dance, which is amazing. There were two other particularly great singers, Ronnie Dio and Tony Martin (not including Ian Gillan). I suggest When Death Calls for Tony Martin and Neon Knights, Lonely is the Word, Heaven and Hell, Bible Black and Voodoo for Dio.
No one seems to remark how original is that song . The main riff is bass based, Tony Iommy is just adding some guitar noise . One of the most original riff with Supernaut . Sabb had a real prog spirit, but they kept all their song audible for every ears.
Ronnie James Dio replaces Ozzy for Heaven & Hell - You MUST do the whole Heaven & Hell Album from start to finish - NEON KNIGHTS is the first song on the album & the best way to launch your 2nd era of Sabbath. \m/ (*_*) \m/
Check blizzard of ozz after sabbath stuff that albums fuckin crazy and yeah the rest if the original band lasted until a few months into touring the first dio album in 1980 and ozzy put out blizzard that year

"The other guy" was Dio. Check out The Sign of the Southern Cross.

Heaven and hell then blizzard ✅
Sabbath created it
Priest gave it identity
Maiden perfected it
Priest and maiden? LOL Sabbath are the masters, priest and maiden talentless understudies.
