Got one a couple of weeks ago. I like it, 9 out of 10 for me. A few things to tweak-improve: day-night config backwards. reversed hours when night lighting dims. Took me a bit to hide GameSnacks from AAuto display. I do not want any apps I did not install. Not hidden, please allow uninstall. One last thing. How to disable the loud beep-noise when the device starts. Please pass on to Lamtto since you have a connection. Thank you.

Hello, I just received my Lamtto from Amazon. I have an issue I hope someone can help me with. Every time I turn off my car and start it up again the time and date changes serveral weeks and 12 hours off. How can I fix this?

I've noticed a few of the reviews on this unit don't show that blue menu on the left edge. I also noticed a small overlaid circle off to the right. Is this a setting that may have been overlooked or is this new functionality via a firmware upgrade? Just want to confirm my eyes aren't playing tricks on me. Thanks.

I’ve got the latest generation ring Spotlight Cam Pro (USB C) battery. I found a cheaper Amazon brand solar panel w/ usb C 7W max ($20), mounted it and hooked it up, and watched the battery go up from 70-100% pretty quickly. It would hit 100%, then the next day, doesn’t detect that it’s plugged in or charging. I can get back up there, replug it back in, and / or restart the camera, and it will then start charging again back up to full. Pain in the butt to have to replug it (the c connector is securely plugged in, doesn’t seem to be a connection issue). Still testing but it seems like the spotlight cam pro firmware / software is cutting off the charging at 100% to avoid battery degradation or something. Since it’s not Ring’s panel, it obviously doesn’t detect that it’s a solar panel and not a wired power supply. I have 3 SPL PRO cams and the cheap panel was just to give it a shot and see if it works. I’m going to give the panels you found a shot and see if it behaves similar. Will be awesome if it picks back up the next day. Curious- have you updated to the USB C units? Or are yours the prior gen?

No they won't, I had a floodlight camera just passed the warranty period. Won't replace or give discount. DONT RECOMMEND RING pieces of shit.

I’m having so much trouble with my 3rd cam I have 2 spotlight with 4w solar with one battery it’s been up for two years running great I bought a 3rd Before I bought another 4w solar panel I have 2 batteries 200% When I plug in my solar 4w to my spotlight (USB c) version It drains my so quick My battery went from 96% to 20% It goes into wired mode and drains my battery I have direct sunlight temp sun shining at 100° But honestly It recognizes the solar panel says connected But my battery continuously dies?? Idk what to do I’m at my second solar panel 3rd party and ring solar panel Low traffic on the one that’s not charging

Hi, so my garage door is rolling on something and is not going over the car like yours for example. So that means that i cannot place the sensor on the door. Is there an option to use this just as an RF transmitter because i just need something simple like that. When i get home, i want to have an option to just press a button and the door will open. I set the time and turned off map background and it looked fine/correct. However, when I shut it down, the settings reverted back to stock, ie day and time was wrong and the map background (aerial image) came back on. Is there a fix for these problems?

mine two brand new Ring solar panels stopped charging the cameras in a month!

Something I don’t understand, my solar panel puts out 5.6v in bright sun. The ring doorbell says 8-24v where it’s connected, is this panel just slightly helping the charge ?

No drilling needed when installing from inside? I saw the plastic screw ring that secured from inside. Is it just that easy?

12 core cpu, 4080 & 1,200 watt psu. What ups would you recommend. My work was trowing some ups's cause the battery was dead, I got some batteries but the ups keeps beeping. Using a Apc be750g now , it doesn't beep when idle but when doing a stress test or playing games, it beeps like crazy.

DL'd the files last night and did step 1 of the install...sent my code around 7:00 EST [morning where Xanavi is] and this morning my license key was in an email waiting for me...Big shout out to TechWinner & Xanavi....basically a software flash that saves one from hacking away at your dash and purchasing an expensive head unit.

Nice review! Is screwing the mount on to the dash permanently better than suction cup to the windshield? I imagine its stable and less shaking

This would not be legal in many states because it blocks the view and the only ones permitted, in many states, is the one that fits behind the rear view mirror. Also, the video quality of this unit is lacking. Sure, you can see cars but you would be "hard pressed" to read a license plate number and I would suspect that would be even more difficult at night. I NEVER place any value on reviews like yours because the company provided the unit to you and your reviews, in my opinion, contain an implied positive bias towards the company; no matter how much you refute that. The most honest reviews are those where the reviewer pays the actual consumer price for a unit and then reviews it. In essence, this is a PAID review no matter what is said.

Does it take views of the rear?

I got this today but when I connected the backup camera the video is upside down . Is there a way to flip the video right side up without flipping the camera upside down ?

I couldn’t find this on Ring or Amazon so I purchased mine from eBay seller and everything was great except that the film covering adhesive wasn’t on so I don’t have adhesive - anyone have any other suggestions for mounting?
