Happy you’re back! We’re wrapping up design on a similar build and your channel has been very reassuring to me as a first time owner-builder. Keep it up and good luck!
@@Mountainview-mesa Yes. I have the VTTouch screen (wired) as my main controller. I also use VC0190 as a boost option in each bathroom (wired). It is a very nice feature to be able to control all aspects of the ERV. It also allows you to leave the ERV in smart mode, which for the most part.. does a good job.
Hey. Nice looking install. What CFM ERV do you have vs what is the output of the CFM performance. For example: I got the 210 CFM, but I get 175 after all my ducting as my max on the ERV.
@michaelsuggett710 Embarassingly, we haven't tested anything yet. We just set it on low flow for now and are trying to get the rest of the house built! The unit is a 210, though.
@@Jerseydevil1921 We had a friend who found these on the discount shelf at Home Depot. I've never seen them on the shelf, but you may ask an employee...?
why didn't you pull the exhaust air out of the return duct work from the HVAC already in the home that pulls from various rooms already? You can also pump the fresh air directly into the return stack right on the other side of the air filter oposite the coils (still on return side). Then you didn't need any of that crazy ducting all thru the home.
had to smile when you were marking the pipe all the way around. Grinder is actually a really good cutting option

How amazing for you! What stage of your build are you in? It means a lot that you noticed our absence, thank you for following along.
Just a couple of days ago I looked to see what had happened to y’all. Glad to see a new video 😊.
Good to see you here, friend!
Highly recommend the AI wall controller, much easier to control the unit at your finger tip.
@@DewaltOwnersGroup I have been looking into that. Do you have personal experience?

Neat video. Does it get cold when you folks are? Because apparently you can’t have the intake air too cold at risk of freezing the core.
We are just going into our first winter with it. We'll keep you posted how it goes.
@@Mountainview-mesa good stuff! We’re up in Calgary and I was trying to see when a preheater would be needed
What kind of grill did you end up installing? What is the name and brand and where can I find it? Thanks!
