I got my Neptune 2 a little over a year ago now and I have to say it has been amazing. I gotta get some of these features for my own printer!

I got this printer on the pre-launch sale event Elegoo did a few months back and it took 2 months to come, I am very impressed with it.
The run out sensor BTW also can detect Clogs due to the pressure it senses as the filament moves in the retractions done in printing!
The only bad thing I can say about the printer is, the text shown of the the files on the screen don't scroll across the screen when selecting the file to see if you are going to use it?
So if like me you slice the files and write a text name that states what the file is what the filament to use is, what the nozzle size is needed and time to print, The text will not fully show up on the short spaced text on the screen!
Unlike my Aquila using the Alex firmware then that has the file text scrolling across the screen when clicked on to view what it is.
If Elegoo can send out a firmware update to address this text issues on the screen then the printer be really cool.

Cool printer. I wonder if that touchscreen is some sort of PoE device and that cord which looks like an old phone cord might be repurposed as ethernet. Also, love the cat. Looks like he or she approves.

How has your experience been with this printer?

I've got a few hundred hours on the printer, assembly was easy, wasn't a fan of the elegoo cura slicer so I swapped to prusa slicer, worked fine. Print quality wise, it was good. At first I had issues with z banding but I found the lead screw just needed the lube to be worked in properly. Biggest issue I've had so far is where sometime whilst leveling, the pressure from the filament sets off the sensor and causes all sorts of problems. Important to level without the printer loaded to prevent this. For some reason the sizes for the pins to slide in and hold the touch screen weren't right so it wouldn't hold. It's never bothered me though. I've also found the z offset isn't consistent and need to be adjusted during each print but all in all, it works great!

@@iamduck_3022 could your z inconstancy be from a loose print bed? I had to tighten the bolts just like they show in the video to help the bed stay tight to the rails even before tightening the tension knobs.

@@3DSage I don't believe so, I checked the bed numerous times. The z banding was most prevalent of the right side of the print. So far, working in the lubrication and lossening the essentric nuts on the z and x axis have solved the problem
