I have always thought the model 3 and Y were boring. This seems no more boring than them to me. What I'm more interested in is price and performance.

To each their own. At least it's a color, and not black white or gray.
There are some good angles to it. Rear not so much. Overall I think it’s good. Improving the drive train and battery technology is the most important thing a car manufacturer can do currently.

I like it.
It’s ugly says the man who’s creaming his pants at the very mention of Tesla Model 3 and particularly Model Y (hideous looking). This Mona does look a bit generic Chinese EV sedan but I’d say it isn’t ugly. Some of the renders don’t flatter it foreshortening the length and the reflections not helping but it has hint of Polestar Scandi cool with the Thor’s hammer lights and is a fair effort. With that collaboration, if they make a compact version it could be a Diddi Mona (Diddy Moaner)?😂
As usual, Tesla shill is positive about Teslas only and negativity is only for others 😁

I think it looks great. At six foot nine inches, all I need is to fit inside.

My understanding is the price will be $20K or less, where did you get $27K? As far as looks, I don’t know of any sub $20K cars in the US that looks this good… if there are such in China, can you post examples?
On the plus it has the blade battery. What about the interior, tech and range?
Cost isn’t particularly low, but heading in the right direction. It’s difficult to compare with a Tesla as it’s much cheaper.
The front looks passable, has it borrowed ideas for the lights from Porsche? The rear looks awful.
Overall, I prefer the BYD Seal.
And I just learnt it is a Cx of 0.194, the best model ever made!!!

To me, AI is nothing so special but something more advanced, but AI (especially car) can't do anything that it isn't programmed to do.
I won't mind to have AI, and especially an AI that I can have as good friendly conversation. Here, sometime I just do voice chat with AI. I've done few basic drawing and AI can be pretty smart and dumb (you can feed it more info and it can improve and correct itself).
I've tried to ask AI to convert my poems and others to different language which it does pretty well. But quite often it can't get the true meaning.
The thing I like about AI that I don't need to explain very detail, and it can improve, correct, remember within a short second.
front is ok... like a mclaren but the rear they can do better than just mirrored the front

Search for the meaning of the word "mona" in Venetian dialect, perhaps thinking of the classic interjection "ma va in mona". 😂 I'll let you imagine the amount of laughter we Italians have, at least we Northern Italians, every time we happen to see something called "mona"

What were "they thinking"? Nothing. The computer was doing the "artificial intelligence" thinking.
This was created by people using an AI tool. The AI tools was first trained.
Then it was asked to create a car based on some parameters.
The result is a combination of the biases in the training and in the parameters.

I'm agnostic as to its looks. However this seems like a gee whiz name because "AI" is the new hotness.
Hate to tell them but all OEMs now use AI software in the design of the vehicle.

Software Engineering, let alone AI Engineering, is quite costly, but less effective in Germany. The fact that only SAP is a large well-known software company in Germany says it all.
