Beautiful rifle brother! That B&T handguard is definitely an improvement over the factory. I wish the 416’s were engineered with a smaller gas block so the handguards didn’t have to be so ridiculously huge. However, that B&T is much thinner which is nice.

I ordered both today in Coyote Tan: BT-212544-CT and BT-212546-CT (Overgrip). I had it on my wishlist for a while, but I wanted to see how it looked on the MR223A3 11" RAL8000. Thanks for the video.

Beatiful video. I have an mr223 a1 and i’m buing this handguard. Some questions: the burel nut is the standard hk or is required to change it? I cut the burrel of mine ad 12 inch; the handguard cover the gas block? Do you think that could fit also over an a1 without any problems?
Thank you! This handguard will fit an A1 no problem and will cover the gas block. It doesn't require a different barrel nut, just the standard HK works perfectly.

Just wonder if it's possible to mill this slot out.
Also, I wish there was a 14.5" version.
With the proper tooling yeah you could mill those slots out and it'd be pretty straightforward since they already have the slot halfway milled, which also just makes it more weird why they didn't just mill the whole thing out to begin with.

You know the Cloud Defensive LCS has cord management built into it right?
Yes. I wasn't able to get the cable as secured as I wanted it though when using the built-in cable management on that.
how das the B&T rail stack up to the HK HKey slimline handguard?
Unfortunately I don't have one of the HKey handguards on hand to compare against so all I can say from looking at the specs is the B&T will be a bit lighter, and of course it'll be M-Lok instead of HKey which has a lot more aftermarket accessories, at least here in the US.

Whats the best way to get into 416? Clone upper or mr556
It depends. If you want a 416A5 clone and all the features that come with that, you'd be better off with a clone upper, as there's no way to replicate those on an MR556 upper, and there's a few parts that aren't backwards compatible. Otherwise, if you're just wanting to get into the platform in general, I'd say the MR556 is a much better starting choice.
The ONLY reason I decided against this handguard was because of that bottom slot being closed. Very poor decision to keep it closed on B&Ts part.

Only when it comes to guns lol, and this is an ADM4 lower. It's functionally identical to the ADM UIC, just with a different visual appearance that I personally prefer. I did a video review on the lower a few months ago also: ua-cam.com/video/el1XP0mHYaQ/v-deo.html
