It's not only that she was serenaded by the mariachi band...What definitely got to her was to see all those fans singing along to her...How many times have you got an audience like that singing Happy Birthday to you this way? 🙂

I saw this video when she originally posted it. I love how silly she can be. She describes herself as a 200% introverted nerd. She had to build up her "onstage" persona. Also, that first song she is singing, in Russian, is from her favorite cartoon.

Interesting that Titiana does a Freddie Mercury impression. I see the similarities in the way she commands the stage, very much like how Freddie Mercury did. Off stage, they're quiet and reserved, but once they hit the stage, they become this confident beast that has your complete and total attention.
If you search something like this, watch "Tatiana Shmailyuk just want to have fun". Less performances, mostly funny moments, some into the one you react. Thoses are from many post they did through the years. But I watch it many time and it always put a smile on my face.

I was lucky enough to see Jinjer at a club in London in 2019. I haven't been the same since.

To explain the Latin American connection further, her fiancé is Mexican (Alex Lopez from Suicide Silence).
To be fair, her connection to Latin American music and culture, specifically Mexican, goes way back before she became involved with Lopez. She is a longtime fan of the art of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo and and has her tattooed on her, as well as a tattoo of a luchadora.
