A few years ago, in an interview with Eugene, Tati answered the question of her age, she said that she was almost 33, Jesus’s age, and she could be crucified, FINALLY. It was really adorable

The vocal lubrication spray thing was even referenced in old Bugs Bunny cartoons (the opera ones) from the 1930s and 40s... It goes back a lot further than that, but it was common enough knowledge to make it to the cartoons.
You only missed two things, at 5:29 and 5:50, that's been a running gag in the studio series!

Can't wait for this album to come out. I hope it will be released up to when they start touring again, so we can familiarize ourselves with the new songs before we see them live. I've got the ticket to see them at the end op september, now I just need the new album.
And speaking Tatiana and Suicide Silence... They did a cover of Man in the Box... I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Great breakdown -especially about the creative process...A little lagniappe: the sound at the beginning of Van Halen’s ‘AndThe Cradle Will Rock’ and after the line, “Have you seen Junior’s Grades?” was purely by accident-created when Eddie accidentally dropped a beer on a keyboard...and that “AHA!” moment occurred--go listen to it!
Not sure when they have a release date set for, but I hope to hear a good bit of this album in December when they are here.

1) ... was that a pharyngeal anesthetic spray??? UNFOG THAT VIDEO, Tati!! (later learned it was CordGrease, thanks OSN) ;)
2) noted the volume of the growl, picked up easily with the video-cam,... SOME vocal coaches assume the growls are low-volume because the mic is held close...no, the mic is there to prevent the demon from escaping.

Arch Enemy wasn't the only female singer/screamer in the early 2000s.
Alexis Brown from Straightline Stitch is SO influential on today's female metal vocalists. There may NOT be a Jinjer, or a Spiritbox without Alexis....🤔

@@j.f.fisher5318 Alexis had a few kids, and has been in MOM mode since like 2013..I heard they're getting back together to play a show in Texas this fall...

First female growlers I heard was the band Kittie. Brackish and What I Always Wanted are good songs by them. Not saying in any way they were the first just first I remember really hearing.
I only said ARch Enemy cause I was out of metal from 1995 to 2015 so lol
@@OldSkuleNerd Oh I was more bringing up my first experience with the female led metal bands than trying to say there were others before Arch Enemy. I think female led metal or even rock bands don't get enough recognition, especially the older ones.

Doubt it with they way they're all bombing the shit out of each other right now.
I will speak for myself I don't like death and black metal because it has many satanic or religious thematics, maybe it's stereotype. But I like Jinjer. And this is nothing surprising, because Jinjer neither death nor black metal, that's Progressive metalcore, this style has a lot to be respected for, like any other music style marked "progressive", because "progressive" is a mixture of styles pushing boundaries. By the way, the Jinjer said they haven't religious themes and they are generally atheists. Before Jinjer, I heard mens growls, but didn't know how they do it, dilettantely thought something like maybe the guys got drunk and growled, and possibly detrimental to the main vocals. Now I know more, and this type of vocals (ecpecially female growl) has a lot more respect to me. Not to mention the fact that Tatiana has jazzy clear vocals, that's I like.
There is a Ukrainian blackened death/doom metal band called 1914. No satanic or religious thematics only WW1. Start with Arrival then Hundred Days Offensive. Super cool.
They said in an interview that their music was atheistic so no dark shit like the more satanic music. As an atheist, I appreciate that
Interesting that Whiney Bolton would eat buttered popcorn considering how abrasive it is. Tatiana has stated that she doesn't eat anything hard or abrasive, like chips, before a show.
I mean who hasn't had a piece of popcorn or chip stuck in their throat? Kind of a stupid choice if you ask me, but then again, I don't sing like a whiney child.
Please!! Henceforth, even if it's a just a studio report from Jinjer, do not watch it without recording your response to it. I love hearing your wise insights... as well as your goofy comments! Please, do not deprive the Jinjer Army of either in the future. Thank you in advance!
