Yea, this is an older song, from before they wrote songs about history, the same goes for all of the Metallzer album (their first).
The album was delayed and couldn't be released until after Primo Victoria and Attero Dominatus.
People have suggested Shakespeare's Hamlet as a possible inspiration to the song.

Metalizer was more an inspirational album instead of a historical album. They were stll finding the feet

This is from their metalizer album which is the first album they started writing but primo victory was released first because metalizer was delayed and the metalizer album i don't think has any historical meaning as for this song i don't think it relates to a specific event or at least no event i could find but i do love the story the song is trying to tell and i think it is a good song considering it's on of their earlier ones
