For reals man. This guy answered all my questions, I was worried I had to play all the game 3 times just to get the dresses.

no other video mentioned that if you don't do any side quests in chapter 3, tifa will get the mature dress anyway. so that is a good shortcut. you have to complete the side quests only 2 times. thank you very much!! this video was worth it!!

Thank you so much for this guide! One question: for example, when I complete chapter 3 with everything to do in order to unlock Tifa's Mature dress, if I straight up load chapter 8 ignoring quests and then load chapter 9 to see the set, will it still work? Or do I have to play the entire game from chapter 3 to chapter 9 everytime for each set?
I went and did all the side quests in chapter 3, chose a different option from my first playthrough for tifa. Loaded chapter 8, did less quests to get aeriths second dress and proceeded through chapter 9 until I saw tifa in the chocobo carriage and she was STILL wearing the dress from my first playthrough... mind you I saved after making my new choice for her dress in chapter 3 then loaded chapter 8 and it showed as if it would carry forward since my total time on that save file did not reset. So now I'm assuming you have to play from chapter 3 all the way to chapter 9... unless someone can point out for me where I made a mistake.
That’s because you actually have to complete the chapter fully not just to the point where you make the decision. Once you change your choice for Tifa in chapter 3 finish the chapter. When you start Chapter 4 then you can chapter select to 8 and do less quests or ignore them all depending on which dress you’re after for Aerith and complete that chapter as well. Then you’ll go into Chapter 9 with your previous choices saved. You don’t have to play chapter 4-7 though. Just have to let chapter 4 start in order for the chapter 3 choice to save.
Ive been looking all over to find out what i was doing wrong because i got all the dresses and no trophy. Didnt know i had to complete the chapters before i selected the next one. Thank you, now time to do it all over again 🙄

This trophy is just a stupid waste of time. No one wants to sit through hours of skipping dialogue and running from point A to point B twice.

You R right. It ia not accurate yet. In my first run I have done different choices from yours and O got the same blue and Black dress tô Cloud. Maybe in the system the decisions make some "points", and with that "score" the game decides the dress Cloud will use. Maybe... Still very recent tô say for sure
I've seen many different guides about how to get Cloud's dresses and I came to one conclusion: The choices that lead to each dress can vary greatly, so there is no one path you must follow to get either dress outcome. With how varied the dialogue options are to get each outcome, I can only assume that dialogue choices have different point values and the dress outcome depends on the point value that you have at the end of it all.
I've done several runs & i still have 2/3 dresses for tifa, cloud, & aerith not sure what i'm doing wrong

Do you mean dark pink as in the worst one where you do no quest. Or the second worst one where you do 3?

UncleBrian81 do sporty for Tifa, and don’t do any side quest in chapter 8 or 9 and you should get it. Remember to finish all chapters until the end. Before you do though go press pause and go to system-> Play log and she how many dresses it says for each character.
Someone help me i have seen all 9 dresses but don't gave me the trophy
I legit did 3 different runs getting all 9 dresses the correct way chapter selecting from 3, making the choice of dress than completing the chapter. Than I chapter select to 8 and did all the ways of getting the dresses and played through all the way until chapter 10, I’ve seen myself getting all the 3 dresses and still don’t have the trophy, this took too much time and I still didn’t get it.. smhh
Fml I don't remember what Tifa had. I know Aerith had the red dress and Cloud had the black and blue dress. But I don't know if I chose the Sporty dress for Tifa or the Mature
When you get the dress of cloud, do you have to finish the chapter or can you stop as soon he get the dress?

As far as the red dress goes, I can now see the game saying to me "you wanted to work little, so you get little reward". WTF!!!!!!!!
Do you need to beat the chapter for the game to count it as "seeing the dress"?
No but you NEEEEEDDD to check the play log in system settings and check if it registered at the bottom. If the number increased then all you have to do is save and go to chapter select and go from there.

Bruh cant i just save after doing all 6 side quests in chapter 3 amd then reload it to get Tifas last dress?
I don’t think so because everything has to be on one file so if you reload the file, chances are highly likely that it won’t save the progress you’ve made for your other dresses since it’s an older save.

No you get mature(short blue) by default if you dont do the sidequests(or dont notice the choice cuz ur an idiot like me)

Yup, just make sure one of those is on Hard difficulty so you don’t wind up making it 3 more times when going back for the Hard Mode trophy lol.
i did 3 side quest on chap 8 bot got still the basic pink so i think it has to be 4 -5
Tifa’s dress doesn’t change for me, I selected sporty twice after going through chapter 3 and it’s always exotic. Anyone else having trouble with her dress not changing?
