DJI faces country wide ban because of their drones tracking and well because it's a military company for the CCP, it's not like they have a choice it's not a free country but it's an unavoidable reality, tech channels have proven again and again they can track military (or economical/trade secrets) targets with all that data they found where Putin was because his dumb bodyguards trained with Strava and gps tracking on

@@bearjewmtb4827 That's the time frame I've heard too. We're also hearing of other brands about to drop the DJI system into their bikes like Evil. Which will come out with a trail and enduro bike. Which would be much easier to ship into the US if need be. By the end of 2025 I'm thinking we will be seeing a lot of new bikes with this system on it. Imagine a Kenevo SL with this system. I love my Heckler SL but I'm wanting a real enduro with full power at a light weight.

there seems to be a ton of reports from users saying that despite settings in the app the power cannot be reduced in any mode, i.e. ECO still feels too powerful no matter how you set it in the app, apparently DJI are working on a fix ? - have you heard/experienced anything ?, the EP801 for example is super tuneable via the app, you can set very low power and torque really notice the effort required and hence extra range

can't tell you on amflow but on gen4 cx yes 2 rides no recharge between 90% battery usage (750wh brand new) 115km 2344m 7690ft 71.46miles roughly 50% eco (ascents) 25% off (flat and long downhills) 23% tour+ (bumpy trails where I needed the instant boost to go above rocks and roots) 2% on emtb (200m 656ft at 47% slope on dirt heh) I really wanted to try a 100% battery ride to know the max range but winter came and those 2 rides my toes were already freezing, next year heh if the amflow does as good I'll be surprised if slightly worse it's still fine not many people will want to climb 2 mountains a day

The rated continuous output will still be 250W no matter what the peak output will be.
      Look at the specs.
      85Nm with 600w vs 105Nm vs 1000w
You’ll get a short term Boost and exactly (250W nominal as divulged by DJI) power after SOME minutes.
Use your brain to evaluate the manufacturer’s hot points.
Can the current battery tech survive this high discharge rates?
      Nope.

Canyon stopped selling all those models end of 2024 Striveon torqueon spectralon batteries have a design defect and will crack potentially starting a thermal runaway reaction (burn) some lucky people only had it stop working instead but anyway they sent a "do not use and dispose of the battery immediately notice" in the USA, I was wondering why since september all their models were greyed out now we know, they have no fix nor even talked about replacement nor parts this far, they went proprietary design on batteries and their customers are paying the price now

Thanks Rick, sorry to hear that on the Albert’s I’m so used to Magic Marys so I don’t really notice drag. So you could try and go up 10% tire pressure and see how that feels. In theory the radial construction gives you 30% more contact area so you can go up tire pressure quite a bit maybe have a play around with it and see how it affects the drag

@ the quad lock is fine. I own one but with the screen exposed it’s a recipe for disaster. I’ve broken garmin screens from crashes. Don’t tell me you’ve never crashed your bike.

Drop the Mary's in the dry. Conti Kryptotal wipes the floor with them and the side wall is indestructible

The pivot hardware on that bike is bad. Only one bearing per side on the rear chainstay?! Weak. Amflow needs to copy Santa Cruz hardware

Thanks for your input, it seems to ride pretty well how I’ve built it anyway.

Or Santacruz needs to put a DJI power unit and battery in their next bike 🤘

Would a shimano XT 10-45 Cassette with a shorter cage rear mech give much better clearance. I feel this motor doesnt really need a 52T sprocket ?

  • @EMTB17
    @EMTB17 Місяць тому

Sam, the length of the derailer cage depends on the number of speeds that you’re cassette has not the size of your wheel. You’ve been doing this channel for long enough that you should know these simple things.

Hey mate I just say it how it is! The old sram wireless was great never bent the cage at all now I’m like on my 4th cage.
