Awesome video again. I reckon longer ones would be better but just have an index in the description if people want to skip certain parts. I would also love to see more gameplay though. Again, great video and game :)
First off Rex, thanks for watching! I've been certainly considering making some slightly longer videos as time goes on. This first month or so I really wanted to see how the viewers liked the format as we all became more comfortable with shooting them. I probably tend to cut them a little shorter right now as to keep the replays pretty substantial and not bore you guys with too many details :). We have some BIG games we'll hopefully record soon like Battlestar Galactica and Game of Thrones 2nd Edition that will certainly be longer. I may even break them up into multiple videos...who knows!
Congratulations Matt on coming up with a great new way of presenting board games. I've watched all 5 of your vids one after the other and really enjoyed them all. Can't wait for more, any chance of doing "Game of Thrones" the board game. It's really nice to know that I'm not the only one who loves board games but is no good at playing them;)
Thanks so much! I thought long and hard about how we could offer something a little different to the board game media world. It means a lot that we've been getting so much positive feed back about it. Really glad to have you as a viewer :)
Thanks Zach! I'm glad you've noticed we've been improving the quality. Things we're a little rough starting out there...they should continue to get better going forward!
Thanks Paulo, glad you're enjoying what we're doing :). As for the full game videos, we're been discussing a good way to do this. It's possible we'll do this with our first live game that we'll hopefully do in the next month or two :)
Hi! Great video but I have a question. In the setup phase (00:00) do we all choose where to place our survivors? Or do we pick them at random? And is there a resolution for 00:00? Or do we jump straight ahead to 01:00? I'm just a bit confused as how to start the game. Thanks in advance.
To place characters at the beginning you start with the First Player and have them randomly draw a number of location cards equal to the number of characters they're controlling. Then place one of the characters in each of these locations. This continues in clockwise order. If a player has to place a character on a space that doesn't have room, it then ends up in the Crossroads location. As for the 00:00 card, that is activated after all characters have been placed, but before the actual game begins. The first round of the game will start with 01:00. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching! :)
I played this game at a local game day. We had 6 people playing, everyone except the owner having never played. I had a fun group (I think nerd, punk and biker or something like that). For SOME reason, every character died...but them dieing allowed someone else to survive. Every single person I saved, had someone survive to the end. The last one, the nerd, held off so that the three remaining players could even get out, otherwise noone would win....It was the MOST fun I have ever had losing a game....
btws....each time I died - it was because I chose to - even volunteered for it...just...made it more fun....this game's dynamics is absolutely amazing - if your only goal is to win, you will hate it - cause when you watch your people die and the ones you have left already used their power....but if you go in it with having fun and winning as secondary - it is SOOO much better
Amaraxis Haha, that's sounds awesome! That's one of the best parts about board gaming for sure. It's such a social experience that even when you lose, you still have a great time! Thanks a lot for checking us out!
when you choose a movement card and you move one of your characters. What happens to the movment card?? does it go back to the deck or out of the game??
Everyone has an identical set of movement cards they can use. Each round after you resolve a movement card you get to add it back to your hand for use next time. Hope that helps!
yea...i still don't know how it all began...do they just start out on the crossroad? and move each character to a location? while the rest of your characters are getting chewed up by the zombie leader standing on the crossroad? i think the blonde needs to have 7 victory points... hahaha
for the record, Isaac would not be allowed to sacrifice our cat to survive the zombies.

Thanks Zach! I'm glad you've noticed we've been improving the quality. Things we're a little rough starting out there...they should continue to get better going forward!
Another great video...
Would love to see entire games played... Separate it in several videos... But it would be awesome...

I wouldn't mind seeing a clock as part of the timelapse.
Jeremy, next game when they gang up on you, use the "hide" card

Board Game Replay yes thanks a lot.!!!
Do you have a full game play channel?
