@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead thanks Mike, I had good luck with the Husqvarna xp oil but playing around with the hp. I get a discount at my cycle center so helps alittle haha.
@@matthewknight5641 nice man! You don’t have to do much, just a little off intake and exhaust and no base gasket works well. I port mine with all straight tools. Only thing that is a pain on these is all the Loctite. Had to rethread one on my 2nd build.
@@BuckYaSaws I have 4 25cc saws but the v modest is the only one with the removable jug that seems alright for porting. I bet they are strong with some more compression and port work.
@@brainiacproductions357 yo man, the first one got base gasket delete, intake & exhaust work. 2nd build was the same but did some transfer work. Let me dig up the numbers.
@@BuckYaSaws scratch that pretty diffent single transfers on both side and port numbers I’d imagine are a bit different. I’m just gonna widen the transfers, lung the intake, raise the exhaust and lighten the piston and hopefully it screams. My buddy wants to take it into the tree so any improvement will be great.
nice job Mr Tony. That Honda oil look slike good stuff. I have some but havent tried it yet

I have the same saw. Less than a tank thru it and I'd like to pull it apart and port it best I can.

@ I’m porting my Neotec 2500 seems pretty close to v modest clone.
@ ya they do look pretty close.
