I am a veteran diagnosed with social anxiety disorder ,PTSD and depression.My va doctor introduced me to mindfulness meditation first I thought it wouldn't help me until I listened to this session, my thoughts where "this is what I need to hear,this is exactly whats going on in my mind.My physical sensations where total relaxation, calmness and tingling throughout my body.This session had me crying like a baby as I felt the thoughts and emotions leaving my head for the first time in years.I listen to this one daily.Thank you.

In 45 years of meditating, I have done 10-day silent Vipassana courses, learnt TM, and developed many different techniques of my own, had fantastic discipline, let it all slip away only to wrestle it back in many different forms over the years. But I love this, a very cool little guided meditation. Quick, effective, specific and very very good. Perfect for the the most confused and stressed part of the day to just step outside myself and reset. THANKS!

I have been dealing with a life-changing long term illness aswell as my final uni exams. I also suffer from severe depression and anxiety. I was feeling so anxious and stressed the past hour I thought I was going to have a heart attack. This video managed to calm me down within 5 minutes. I cannot thank you enough.
I've begun a new habit and I can't believe I've been missing out on it for most of my life. When I feel anxious and intrusive thoughts coming along I just take a moment, come on UA-cam and find beautiful videos like this, then take a moment to breathe and relax. It's helping so much. I just had a bad panic attack. I'm at the library working on assignments and my dad called and he wasn't picking up when I called back which always worries me. Idiot friends keep texting. Plus, I'm waiting on an important call from my doctor. I just spun out bad. I found this video and I can't tell you how much it helped. It helped a lot. I'm book marking this to my favorites. I may have to listen to this every day.

All the comments are saying your words are so helpful. I can’t even remember what you said because I went to a place I’ve never been in meditation before somehow with this one. All I remember is reset button and I think I must have pressed it!!!!! My only complaint is an ad popped up before I was able to bring my awareness back to reality. I was absolutely in another place so the abrupt ad startled me. I think that’s UA-cam’s fault though, not the fault of this channel. I edit videos and I think I will download this one, adding a couple minutes of different meditation music at the end as a prompt and to give me time to come back into reality bc I will one thousand percent be doing this meditation again and i wanna go back to where it brought me. I have been using this about three times a day spread out, it definitely helps to take 5 min and just breath and clear your mind. All to often life doesn’t let us stop and stress and anxiety builds in the back ground.
I was really very emotionally dsyregulated and overwhelmed just now, spiralling between blank then crying and back again, thanks to therapy I was able to objectively look at what was happening and say hang on I need to calm down quickly to think more clearly on what to do next. Unbelievably effective. Just got finished with a long exam that I had been stressing and obsessing over for weeks. I had done the studying and gotten the help I needed and still didn’t trust myself. Got a 90.9/100. Finished and felt instantly super overwhelmed and my anxiety was through the roof. Didn’t think a 5 min video could fix that. Definitely gonna use this in the future

I just decided to get into meditation after going through a very dark time; willing to do anything to just stop my mind. I put on one guided meditation video, and just couldn’t sit still, keep my eyes closed, stop my mind from wandering.. when the video ended I said to myself, “I didn’t do this right…”Because I felt no different, only agitated, because it’s not easy to stop the negative thoughts.. then I scrolled and saw THIS VIDEO. Had some wonderful counselling and I now take anti-depressants to help with my stress and sadness (my mum is dying).....my counselor mentioned UA-cam meditations and I came across this. Yes, I now use it regularly to "reset"....but I also recommend it ALL the time, so clear and concise, it made an easy introduction into a busy life 🖤

Great video worked nicely, I haven't been sleeping properly and been suffering from pretty bad insomnia recently and I'm completely crowded and overwhelmed by so many negative thoughts, worries and I obsses all day. This was really good. I tried other ones that were as little as 1 minute, and it just didn't help much. I think five minutes is perfect. The counting really helps. My mind wanders a lot and each time you count, it helps me to become aware that my mind starting to wander. This is really helpful..
I wanna start out by saying THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS. I recently went through an extreme existential crisis spiral. I had so much anxiety and depression, it was unreal. I talked to my friends and family, which did help immensely but I decided to go on a spiritual journey so I can have a solid believe system and hopefully learn some practices to help me manage the dark thoughts when they happen. Another spiritual youtuber recommended that I do a 5 minute guided meditation. I found your video and it released something inside me. The peaceful music in the background....your voice....the visual.....This may sound dramatic but I instantly started crying because I felt like you spoke directly to my soul. I felt safe , warm and best of all...present. I will be back everyday to ground myself with your wonderful video.

This meditation was really nice. I imagined myself in a place with no worries, felt very calm. The only thing is I wish it would end differently - with some background music for a few seconds or something, because now with UA-cam having so many ads, I was so in the moment then got scared when I started listening to a fitness ad 😂

I talked to my friends and family, which did help immensely but I decided to go on a spiritual journey so I can have a solid believe system and hopefully learn some practices to help me manage the dark thoughts when they happen. Another spiritual youtuber recommended that I do a 5 minute guided meditation. I found your video and it released something inside me. The peaceful music in the background....your voice....the visual.....This may sound dramatic but I instantly started crying because I felt like you spoke directly to my soul. I felt safe , warm and best of all...present. I will be back everyday to ground myself with your wonderful video.
This s helped out a lot with everything that has happened at my job it’s been crazy with drama now I am feeling better then ever

This meditation was really nice. I imagined myself in a place with no worries, felt very calm. The only thing is I wish it would end differently - with some background music for a few seconds or something, because now with UA-cam having so many ads, I was so in the moment then got scared when I started listening to a fitness ad 😂
I appreciate the suggestion! I have been leaving more ambient music at the end of sessions more recently.
