Wiring harnesses = long day 🤦♂️

- ** Lee and I drove up north because we needed to get the 9620r wired in for the father in- law's Bourgault drill so that we can use it.. But Bourgault them selves shorted me the right harnesses, so we actually had to drive a few hours out of our way to go to the Bourgault Manufacturing facility to get them.
** it was a very, very long day! Our day started at 3am the night prior and didn't end until we don't
know... Its all a blur now 😳🤔🤷🏼♂️😂

You can hear the low energy in your voice from being so tired compared to other videos. As a truck driver I feel that so much
I demand a "Mike & his helpers reunion" video rather soon, Lee seems like such a good buddy to have around!
I’m pretty sure they set their pins up soft so it doesn’t wear your implement hitch as fast because the pin is easier to replace.
Na theyre just soft
Implement hitchs are made to bolt on for this reason
But really neither should wear that much
The problem with soft pin is they start slopping around in tbe tractor drawbar then after a few replacement pins you start flogging out the tractor drawbar and thats very much not cheap
Every single John Deere pin i ever had was soft.Almost raw! They are simply crap
I suffered from soft Pin. Very painful and embarrassing
@@johnhendrickson8926 priceless comment sir
John Deere make them soft so that THEY can sell you new ones!!
You and Lee are awesome working together have a good day sirs and get a NAP
Lee is a good employee and friend. Not many people would go that far for their employer. Says alot about how good of a farm you are to work for.
Well it's also Mike's brother :P
@@elowine Lee is not Mike's brother.
@@budobuoy Well guess I have watched for a year thinking he was 🥺
When you work for a farmer, you aren't there to punch a clock. It's all day everyday when it's planting or harvest.
@@richardschipper5989 Nope. Not all farms are like that. There are plenty of corporate farms that are on a time card. Farming used to be that way everywhere, but not anymore. If you own the farm or are a family employee, yeah, but as hired help, he went above and beyond.
great video mike, I love learning new things
That is quite a project to get all the wiring and hydraulic hoses run and hooked up correctly! You take care.
Use a 1/4" or 3/8" stick of tubing from the back, tape and pull. Might make it easier.
Easier to change a worn pin than a hitch!😁
deep respect for the dedication and hard work you do.
I admire your dedication to bring us content even if you're tired AF ! ❤
It's ok VGA plug, you can be whatever you wanna be!
Hahah 😂
@@mikemitchell2554 if you didnt fix ya gps that socket indeed is gps related 😂.
Mind you a similar cable is used in the music industry 😂
That's a serial connector, not VGA.
@@Dfk429S9fo3 actually it is a VGA but they havent been used for many years.
Google vga and it will be a result you get
@@Dfk429S9fo3 both are the same thing actually just 2 different names 😂
Edit* just one also transmits image the other dont. In this case its a vga bc it connects to a screen 😁.
Love how Lee is in the videos a bit more lately!!
We used to have adapters that just plugged on the line ends to go from one make of tractor to another. Worked great just plug and go.
Great awesome video mike, nice to see the new to u tractor hooked up snd ready , wow snow still there
Not only did Ashtyn get a good husband her family got a good son in law, and a good... in law mechanic guy from the U.K. :)
You made a statement . If you don´t know how to improvise , do not even attempt . As for your wiring rubbing points , the answer was on your tractor . You seen the water hose around the hydraulic lines , that´s how I do it the same . Wiring harnesses , hydraulic hoses , perfect solution . Nice job done by you two. I almost felt like I was working for a moment.
got to replace the gudgeon on one of these. what a beast of a machine. Our dealership has done about 15 on them this year watch out
I hope we get a review of you seeding with the triple mike. Love those. Love everything about the channel actually.
I mean holy f there is snow everywhere an these dudes are chilling nearly all day long in a pullover I would freeze my a** off nice video tbh
I'm in!
Mike:I don't feel anything yet
Me:🤔
Long but sure awesome job you guys!

@@happycanayjian1582 no I'm just confused
Enjoy your videos thanks be safe
You should make a vise to mount in your receiver hitch on your truck.
any chance to tour the bourlgard (i dont know how to type the name) factory ? i would love to see them making those huge seeders
Great video Mike! Thanks!
Was thinking like calving a cow just as Mike said it, best “get a check up from the neck up”
Great tractor! Do you think you may like the triples more than the tracks? Also, will you be testing a 9RX 640 in the future? Thanks again for the videos. They are great.
that machine looks like it had a large flow power beyond line and large low pressure dump line from factory as well as the case drain line and 6 remotes , if you have problems with the fans you might have to use one or both of the large lines
I feel you man with doing wiring and all that wiring and stuff. I'm not jealous at all with your snow. We're loving our plus 20s and seeding in full force for us. Farming is awesome and God is good!!
The 3/4" blocks are a good idea on the CASEIH .
Versatile has a really nice setup for 3/4” fittings
Thanks Mike!
Thanks Mike. Great video but every time u get cold weather u send it down here .lol
Nice video, thanks for share.
Have you tried heat treating those pins? It's fairly easy as long as they aren't trash metal. Have a good one.
Mike Mitchell...to pull the harness through the back end of the tractor what i always do is take a thin rod...stick it through tape on the harness and pull it through 🤷♂️
Never mind 🤷♂️
Is it just me or does mike make farming look like a really fun job🤣
It can be a really fun job. It also gets in your blood and never seems to go away.
When life gives you lemons....stick a lit fuse in it and throw it back.
The Plug on the A Post ist for Signals from the Gearbox. There is also Power in it and position from the Hitch(if equipped)
Great videos ,love watching them . Sask Dutch kid gave you a shout out in his last video
I keep thinking…. How many actual questions would Mike get if he didn’t ask a million of them to himself every episode.
Your father inlaw will be able to save hours on his tractors with yours on the seeder. 😂
Build an elevated vice for the receiver hitch
Extreme long day. Hope you had a safe trip back. God Bless
Oh it was!... 😐
Parabéns Pelo Canal e Que Deus Abençoe a Todos!!!
🔥Gona be a nice setup guyzz, I see u getting a rig for up north, smart business decision🔥👊🔥🏍🏍🏍
Or it could be a huge financial waste. Never know with farming. Nothing is a sure thing when farming except when you need to buy something, its gonna be expensive. I think Mike knows what he is doing.
I’m sure he’s so glad to have your blessing on his decision.
Mike the master of see you later but always turns the camera back on again
Right?! 🤷🏼♂️😂
Hey Mike I bet your Father in law isnt to thrilled his son in law brings a Deere tractor on his farm lol!!! You stole his daughter and brought a Deere to a red farm🤔🤔🤔..
Haha that is prb very true! 😂
@@mikemitchell2554 I'm just busting your jewels dont take me serious lol.
The round 7 pin plug in the cab post is a speed sensor plug
A fish tape makes that job whole lot easier.
Your videos are awesome keep on posting!
Hey mike! Love your vids and always look forward to watching them! I always have a question though. You've said that your family doesn't really like the camera and is camera shy. Does anyone ever get annoyed when everyone's working and you have the camera out? Or do they just not like being on camera? Obviously not trying to start any drama, but i've always been curious.
Hey Mike to answer your question, the reason John Deere pins wear out because their always in the field working. 😁😁
To share gps signal set the same baud rate on receiver and you trird party monitor. Alsho check all 5 checkboxes for messag types. That strange socket small 7 pin is for radar speed output
Wow you guys I totally feel your pain on that one talk about stressful. What size Drill is the 620R pulling? Anyone know?
great vid! very interessting!
I once met a girl who was really nice and all. It all ended when she said her father had a John Deere. I was like "nope" this ain't worth it and went home to my Case.
Why do they paint John Deeres green?
So they can hide in the bushes when the Internationals drive by. 😂
@@interman7715 case IH are put together with boxing gloves that’s why they fall apart
That's casist
She was lucky
Oh my that's just crazy!! .
Great video...Glad it worked out good
Wheels just look so much more aesthetically pleasing to me on articulated tractors, don’t know why that is. 🤔 That said, the Case QuadTrac looks better than JD’s 4 track, IMO.
The best on youtube! One day.. one day i will be in those videos..
Get me one of those adapter right away !
Careful with those JD 9620’s I heard the hydraulic pump likes to go out on those
hi I love ur vids keep it up man
Hi Mike . I dont think you have to hold the key in the START Position for it to start :-) turn it once to START and just let the key return to the ON Positions :-) Your Deer wil start ;-)
Just start the drilling in reverse. Just to take of the edge.
I don't like Deutz plugs. Note to self. Take all tools, and even the ones you don't think you need!
Funny today we installed a deere starfire 6000 system in our case.
Looks like a cluster to me a lot of things can go wrong
You guys have enough equipment you should have a service truck with welder, cutting capability, hand tools and of course a big vice and BFH. So there!
“Gender changer” 😂😂👌👍
isobus makes life easier :)
If you apply a few coats of Graphite coating on that hitch pin. There will be just about no wear.
I think u need to build him a heated shop so u can use it
BETSY, call the new drill Betsy.
every farm needs a Lee-
That would give them a lot more leeway !
"Gender changer" Would that have been called a male/female adapter in the old days?
Back before you would get shuttered for wrong pronouns
Mike. Look at outback wraps I have them on all ours
Good luck
You need a huge spring
And a gallo to unstrain
All the high presiur
Lines !!or they Will breake
Improvise adapt over come good rule to live by
Articulated 9620 V Fendt 1050?
Which would take the W ?
Everyone’s equipment seems to set out in the weather but looks good in appearance or is it just newer.
Lots sit out
Mike secretly waxes all his equipment every week to keep it looking good. 😂
Actually I wonder if the lower temperatures and lower sunlight intensity being further north make a difference
Omg snow in mid April.... is that common for ye? Looks like fun... 😀😜
I'm in Missouri, we had snow in April, so what?
Hey, Mike! Remember when I said that I'm still going to be here when you hit 1m subs? I'm still hanging around buddy. Great video as always!
Ha! That would be crazy! I appreciate that good sir 🙂
@@mikemitchell2554 it’ll happen. Your videos, equipment, equipment size, farm size, attitude, & personality are all too good for your channel not to grow very quickly.
I'm late but I'm here 👋
You're 1337
We don't need no stinking harnesses. Go wireless!
Is it normal for those tractors to make such a grinding noise. Seams quite noisy.
Morning
How much land will you be farming up north this year?
very good video, is that your brother with you,
Thanks, no
He Mike, so what's the deal with the pin wearing? Bad steel, loose pin or is it something on the equipment where there's extra play in the equipment? Ya know like when you hit the harmoc spot, and your equipment starts to bounce, or pull side to side. So ya have to slow down a bit, or speed up a bit?
Mint brackets.
Hey mike what happened to ISO compatible that sucks why cant you just plug it in and run off 4600 thanks
👍👍👍
Mike what county is Lee from? I'm in Devon 👍
UK
Mike: The John Deer pin is wearing so bad!!!
Also Mike 10 min later: Drilling in is pin.
😂😂
Hiccups have something to do with lack of sleep Mike cause I get them bad when sleep deprived as well
I was wondering about that!
Mike, I have a question! Will the baby triples get replaced with 1050 sized triples or even bigger duals?
