Goldeneye: 007 for the Nintendo Wii is a full-scale re-imagining of the N64 game, and includes no assets from the original game. It takes the classic Goldeneye story and updates it to the standards of a modern first-person shooter. It also features Daniel Craig rather than Pierce Brosnan, who played James Bond in the film and the Nintendo 64 game. It has many modern features such as the ability to sprint and aim down sights.
The missions in this game are based on the ones from the classic Nintendo 64 version instead of the film. Some of the stages from the original game have been combined in this game (for example, Bunker on Wii is like Bunker+Silo on N64 and Cradle is like Control+Cradle on N64). But there are also some brand-new missions like Nightclub and Solar.
This TAS plays on the hardest difficulty, 007 Classic. Like the original N64 game, the harder difficulties have more objectives than the easier difficulties. This makes the route much more interesting because the goal isn't simply to sprint to the end of the mission. 007 Classic also removes regenerating health, so there is much more health management on this difficulty. Because a modern Call of Duty-style FPS game with no health regeneration would be unfair, the developers added body armor that is only available on 007 classic, which the TAS makes great use of.
Since this game has roughly 35 minutes of unskippable cutscenes, the author provided a condensed video ( • [TAS, No Cutscenes] Go... ) with all the cutscenes and loading screens removed. - Ігри
1:37:10 had me in stitches.
I love the antics the creator of this TAS did... I got a few good laughs from it.
Most entertaining TAS I've seen in a while
i didnt know their was a modern goldeneye, good run
Then I don't know where you've been...
one of my all time fav TAS... so entertaining
18:43 British tea bag
That was hilarious, seeing him slowly aim towards the guys crotch while getting shot in the face.
A great TAS from FitterSpace!
nice tas dude, it was entertaining to watch 😀
36:44 when you are about that life..
3:22 i love how James just has a miniature seizure.
18:47 such a nostalgic death sound effect 🤣
2:40 - "See if you can find any extra fire power in there."
...something tells me he doesn't need it.
I think TAS Bot should be the new Bond
Great TAS.
I think the most fictional thing about this game was the woman running in heels.
I knew someone in high school who could sprint in heels
Either a Super Saiyan or a magician.
Should have been a skin to play as Pierce Brosnan.
yo the opening sequence fucking slaps
Very nice
26:00 Imagine them using DJ Hero 2 for music. "I Remember" from Deadmau5.
1:39:01 Alec Trevelyan: For England James?
1:39:05 James Bond: No! For Me!
Goldeneye reloaded had the cooler AK-47 reload
The N64 version will forever be the best 😂
20:50 that AHHHH sound effect 🤣
Well hell, this game don't look half bad. The levels are totally different (CoD-style) while still having a lot of the same spirit as N64 Goldeneye. Racking the slide even when there's already a round in the chamber is pretty annoying, but no game is perfect.
I don’t know why they chose Daniel Craig for this remake, should’ve stuck with Pierce Brosnan the GOAT James Bond
Well. Because this was during the height of the Daniel Craig movies.
18:44 the trolling in TAS 🤣
1:27:46 does somebody know how he does this thing to go over walls?
Sorry for the late reply. You can climb up slopes by mashing the sprint and reload buttons repeatedly. For whatever reason, reloading resets your falling speed in some situations so it lets you sprint up the slope one small step at a time every time you sprint. The wall I'm climbing up there is just a very steep slope so it works there. It doesn't work against flat walls or if you're falling off a ledge. Only when you're going up or down slopes.
Special mention for 45:41
How many times did he 'get away'. At some point, if you have Bond in custody, don't even think about keeping him.
Don't talk to him, don't plan on shooting him. Don't even...
Wait where did he go and why is everyone dead and where is my woman and why is my satellite broken?
From 32:28 to 32:32 there's a flashing green box in the bottom-right corner. I assume there's no fix?
Habreno I call that the green box of death. As far as I know, it's just a glitch with dolphin, since that doesn't happen on console.
1:24:52 final destination type mortal kombat type stage fatality
0:15 poor lion
I know this is just a video game and I'm saying this on a TASbot video, but the mid-magazine reload animation for the pistol is inaccurate. The slide doesn't need to be racked mid-magazine, all you would be doing is adding to the time it takes to reload and ejecting a live round onto the ground.
A lot of modern video games don't really care to make guns or gun reloading work as they really should and its kinda sad. CoD for example wants you to be immersed into the setting, but how can you be if some reloading animations don't make sense
@@ori.g4miExpecting an unrealistic thing (video game) to be realistic is a contradiction.
Games are supposed to take you out of the realm of reality for a nice little break from it.
If you're going into video games expecting realism, you should probably re-evaluate some things in your own life...
POV: You are Shadowbanned and end up spectating an online Co-op session with a teamkilling cheater.
46:20 is so funny shoot and pop
Nice russian. Как всегда хорошо.
1:37:16 this guy is invincible lol
Daniel Craig just phoning it in, it hurts to listen to
How does this TAS work? Does he play the game in slowmotion, or are all the movements automated?
BrainSeepsOut I played this game on the Dolphin Emulator with frame advance, savestates, and TAS input. Frame advance lets you play frame by frame to eliminate human reaction time, savestates let you basically rewind to fix mistakes or make improvements, and TAS input lets you select which buttons are pressed on which frames, which is more precise than using a real controller. Over the course of 10 months, I used those tools to make this run.
FitterSpace great run. 10 months. Wow
Also honestly, this doesn't seem like THAT bad of a game, i don't really see why people bashed it just because "it wasn't enough like the N64 game"
This is a fantastic game. But a lot of people expected it to be a remake of the N64 game, which it's not. I still think it's a really cool game, and the online multiplayer is still very active.
I will say what I've said to everyone when it comes to remakes:
Do you like the remake? No.
Does the original still exist? Yes.
Then go play the original.
1st this game is nothing like the original game and even less like the movie.
2nd they used Daniel Craig and not Pierce Brosnan
3rd the game is just like a call of duty game
ok now i seen the full game
but one question
did the makers of this game even seen the movie? or even played goldeneye 64? thy got sooooo many things wrong! lol
25:42 What about that man he just walked in XDD
So he could push the button and save 006.. lol
1:23:38 say no to crazy domestic violent women
I expected a lot of glitches tbh
There are major sequence breaks at 35:25, 46:25, 1:22:35, 1:28:54, and 1:34:50 (Plus an additional enemy despawn). The Jungle and Solar levels have three lesser skips each, while Cradle has one too. I'm pretty sure that on top of the easy Alec fight glitch at 1:37:17, it also prevents swarms of soldiers to deal with. The part where he waits for the elevator in the Archives is more enemy manipulation, but it's still pretty funny. I just think it's the massive amount of unskippable in-level cutscenes and events they crammed into the game that make it seem like there isn't much going on in the way of TAS'ing, but there is.
The way this game is made makes it difficult for anything more than what we have - OoB means death, and most objective markers need to be triggered in order for the game to progress.
Jungle's a major exception - although it doesn't seem like much, the hover at 1:21:49 skips a marker, which causes major advantages and disadvantages but doesn't halt the level. At the section just after, there are despawned enemies that you still hear talking, and then just after that, there's meant to be a truck with 6 or 7 enemies, but it never appears. But, along with this, two checkpoints and a set of armour are also despawned.
The sequence break in Solar is an example of what important markers do - if you drop down there, you don't activate the marker that spawns the charges below which you need in order to progress, so you have to restart the checkpoint to activate it.
On a side note, there are a few more tricks that were found after the TAS, including clips in Dam and Bunker.
"That chopper could not be in safer hands"
*immediately shot and killed by russians
The remake of golden eye 007 made on Nintendo Wii is worse than Original game
I'm sorry.... Are you saying the original is bad?
@@lovescarguitar the original game on nintendo 64 is way better than the wii remake
Iam james bond..
code of amigo myy
This is not going to be a very good run. He is not even past the first level, and he has taken a ton of damage. He's not that good at this game. Plus, he's just running past everyone. Slow it down bud, and make sure you kill those guys. You seem like you're pretty good with the gun. With a little more work you could be a good player. This is hard to watch.
You *do* realize this is a TAS, right?
@@arcanejalx Yup. He's doing pretty good I guess considering that. Not everyone can be good at doing a TAS.
No, I kinda agree with him, it's a tas, could be so much more entertaining if he just headshot everyone, instead he opts to just run past them, enjoyable to watch nonetheless
"No one ever died being too careful"
cmon there must be some poor guy who was murdered by his wife for not taking more risks.
