Im 3 years too late to this vid, but i have this 4x12 cab and an Orange Super Crush 100 head. With a 7 band eq in the fx loop is pretty much all i need for Metal. Brst sound and tone out there imho.
I owned a tiny terror combo with a G12-H30 and stupidly sold it last year, I’ve tried many amps since then to replace the TT, the other brands I tried have missed the mark and I miss the Orange terribly.
Never had an Orange amp before and recently I stumbled upon a Rockerverb 50 MKII and I love it! The beauty of this amp is that when I first plugged in, within the first 5 minutes of tweaking the knobs I got the sound I wanted! Very versatile, easy to use, unique. Clean is shimmering and the crunch is tight. Never tried other models but after listening online it seems that they are all pretty much super user friendly.

The Thunderverb. What an amp. Though i like the Custom Shop very much as well. Orange amps just seem to have this unparalleled elasticity in their tone. There's less friction between the fingers and ears. And i play almost anything. There's not many types of music off limits for me. I enjoy it all. I really liked these riffs in this video by the way.
Love the custom 50! Just got a rocker 15 a few weeks ago and it’s made me a better player because it makes me want to play all the time! Would love the custom 50 or rockerverb 50 combo! 🍊amps are the best! #Wishgranted
Thanks Matt! It’s a Fender Jazzmaster, the Thurston Moore signature. I changed the bridge for a Mastery Bridge and I replaced the bridge pickup Seymour Duncan Antiquity II for a Curtis Novak JM-Fat!
#wishgranted I still want the Thunderverbs to come back. Maybe tweaked a little but still the grunting heaving mountains of tone. Maybe I’m not doing the #wishgranted thing correctly, I wish for an old Thunderverb 200 that’s maybe hidden somewhere back in the warehouse. 😁
This head sounds really good! I’m using the Channel B clean for my overdrive pedals (great headroom) and for the Channel A, I cranked up the preamp to get a dirty sound… It’s mind-blowing!

@@SefLemelinOfficial I was trying out a cr60 combo I think and the sound was so great and I was pairing it with a boss wazacraft distortion pedal trying to get a metal tone
Un cabezal valvular, una Gibson Les Paul, y entre medio una cadena interminable de pedales transistorizados y pedaleras digitales, es como tener una Ferrari y ponerle neumaticos recapados. No se cual es el sentido. Los cabezales valvulares se aprecian con el minimo de intervencion en la señal previa. Saludos.

I moved to another country two years ago and had to sell all my gear. After some research I decided my next amp will be an Orange amp!!
