With my first pregnancy, my doc had me pushing baby out when baby was -3 (in a position where the inlet was closed). no wonder it took forever and ended up with c-section. Definitely trying these as I’m pregnant again and truly want a vbac!

So that’s why it feels like things are opening up. I’m side lying positing with my knees separated every night.

Question: about how many times a day do you recommend doing these positions? I’m currently 38 wks and 5 days and I’m 2cm dilated but my baby is not engaged according to my midwife.

I was telling the drs I don't want to be flat on my back. They ignored me as I'm in pain and put me flat on my back while I was trying so hard to go on my side.

Great advice! I labored fine with baby #3 with no epidural, then I was put on my back to push. That’s when the pain skyrocketed. I will be using these tips this go around with baby #4.

35 weeks currently with my first! A lot of these things feel so intuitive for me but it’s immensely helpful to understand the Why and Science behind it. It definitely makes me feel empowered and confident! ❤ gracias 🙏🏽

Had my 20 week scan yesterday and the baby was already engaged in my pelvis. The sonographer encouraged baby out by tipping me backwards on the bed. Should I be worried that baby was already there and should she have left the baby there? Worried that baby was there for good reason and now won't go back in naturally

I would be scared the baby would fall inside the toilet
