2023 Vinyl Wrap | 2007-2018 Jeep JKU Wrangler | Overview, Process, Steps

My wife and I wrapped our 2014 Jeep JKU and want to share the experience in as much detail as we can. It was really hard to find Jeep specific wrap tutorial/overview and information when I was preparing for this project - so hopefully this can help the next Jeeper along!

I’m sorry I don’t cover wrapping techniques - this videos was intended for showing the general steps in wrapping a Jeep JK specifically. There’s tons of videos how to wrap a specific part or time-lapse/before and after videos.. I wish I would have seen a video like this just to wrap my head around the project instead of going in blind!

Now that you are done, How much material would you suggest to do a Wrangler ?

I heard before I did this, vehicle length x3, which would be 45ft on wrangler, I rounded up to 50ft, and that gave me room for redoing the grill once and the hood once (that’s about 8ft of wasted material). So if you need enough material to make mistakes and not worry I’d suggest 60ft.

I tried to say it as simply as possible in my description - "Are you a skilled DIYer? Medium. Not skilled? Very difficult." Patience, willing to mess up the material and start over... Ok with it taking 2 or 3 weeks if your doing it a few hours at a time?
