  • This video is about how I built my dream guitar with no experience. I'm now getting ready to paint. First I'm routing for the Lollar Gold Foil pickups in soap bar mount and then I'm doing the final sanding and spraying the first coat of sanding sealer.
I'm a guitar building beginner and this video is the 6th in a 9 part series on how to build your dream guitar with no guitar building experience.
Is that even possible? That’s what I want to explore.
    In this part I cover:
how to route out for, the Lollar Gold Foil pickups in soap bar mount
    the final sanding
and the first coat of sanding sealer

Getting toward the end of building my own one of these and your videos have been super helpful. One thing I just thought of though is I have no clue how I'm going to ground the bridge. Did you ground the bridge on this guitar, and if so, how?

      Hi Luke
Sounds great that you got through the build. Well yes I didn’t ground the bridge but only the vibrato. It’s working great. I guess the strings connection to the bridge keeps it grounded as well
Thanks so much for watching 😃🙏

@@MichaelLagerstedt Thanks! I catch that part in your build video, but I re-watched one of the videos from the Novo factory and watched how they do it.

you just need to screw the pickups down the foam pushes back up the depth is not that critical rout it deeper than you need and add enough foam to push the pickup up the whatever hight it need to be then you can adjust it with the screws

      Hey Dan
Thanks so much for that explanation. I really couldn’t see how it was supposed to work.
I think I get it but still.... 🧐... don’t know for sure... Great comment... thanks 🙏
