  • Here I answer the question: Is NP school hard? I'm also preparing for a quiz that is consuming my life at the moment 😪. I also decide to take a trip to the Dollar Store to stretch my legs and get some fresh air. Sometimes you have to know when to take breaks. Please let me know if you have any NP or nursing questions 😀

    WHO AM I
I'm Tania, a nurse practitioner student living and going to school in Ontario Canada. I've been a registered nurse for 7 years. I made this channel because I found that there was a lack of content relating to Canadian NP students on UA-cam so I decided to create this channel not only to document my journey through school but also to provide some helpful information to aspiring NP students 😊

Please how many are you in the np program? Do you have any idea the number of nurses who applied by chance? Lastly, do you know the minimum gpa they accept for np schools in Ontario? Like the average? Thank-you 😊

Hi 🙋🏻. The overall GPA is B or B+ but in my experience it's best to have B+ or A. Keep in mind that it's not only about your grades but also your work experience, references and extra curricular activities that go into your overall application but grades are important. As for the size of the class, it's strange b/c there's a mix of students in all classes (Master's and NP). And not only from one university, also from other universities especially in the first year. I am not sure if this is a new thing b/c all the courses were online/zoom this year so it was easier to mix students together. You also have a mix of part time students and full time students taking the same course but starting different years. It's not like nursing school where you get to see who is in your classes first year.
I made a video of my NP admission if you are interested. Thanks for watching 😊

I believe you have one more chance to do it but you have to wait until the following year
