- I have been waiting so long to do this video! I am finishing up my last year of the NP program and I can finally calculate the grand total of how much I payed for the NP program. Keep in mind that it may not be a true reflection of the fees because some were dropped due to the pandemic. Also, the dollar amount is in Canadian dollars. The fees are for a fulltime student. Hope this helps you plan out for school 😊

WHO AM I
I'm Tania, a nurse practitioner student living and going to school in Ontario Canada. I've been a registered nurse for 7 years. I made this channel because I found that there was a lack of content relating to Canadian NP students on UA-cam so I decided to create this channel not only to document my journey through school but also to provide some helpful information to aspiring NP students 😊

I am binge-watching your videos don't be surprised if you see me everywhere
😅 Just noticed this comment. Thank you for watching 😊👍🏻
For an international student of 2 post graduation nursing program who spent roughly 20k per program, 16k-ish tf (2yrs) to become an NP is not bad. Looking forward to becoming NP😭😭
Good luck on your journey! I don't know much about international nurses but I do know it's expensive!
Please which healthcare provider did you use for your dental care if you don't mind
I used Green Shield. The insurance company is automatically assigned to you so I didn't have an option to pick which insurance company I wanted. Good thing is they covered my dental cleaning and tooth 🦷 extraction!! 👍🏻
Hi there I sub to your channel. Thank you so much for this helpful video. I plan to go for my NP program after getting the required RN hours. I am also based here in Toronto Ontario, just graduated from school and was hired as a new nurse this month in ED. It would be nice if I could connect with you on soc med for guidance in getting into the NP program down the road. Thanks 🙏🏼☺
Hi thanks for watching 😊. Congrats on your new position! Emerg is definitely a place where you can learn so much. Your time to apply for the NP program will come but in the meantime enjoy your time as an RN. I did. You will know when the time comes to move on 😉
Lemme know one thing ....
If a RN want to be a NP so they have to lave their job?
Depends on a lot of things. It's very individual choice but most RNs that are in the program are either part time or casual at their workplace. I explain it more in the video towards the end.
