    That's wild. I've been learning for the last week and a half, and the yarn over/under thing confused me for a bit. I wasn't sure how much it mattered, and the terminology messed with my brain, as I think of the actions in terms of the hook (yarn under = hook over).
    I've gotten more comfortable with the basics now, so I'll definitely be mindful about this. Thank you for sharing.

    • @kimcraft
      @kimcraft  Місяць тому +1

      Thank you so much for sharing your crochet journey! 😊 You're absolutely right - the yarn over/under terminology can be tricky when you're starting out, and it's completely normal to feel confused at first. It's great that you're becoming more comfortable with the basics - that's a huge achievement for just a week and a half of learning!
      I love how you're thinking about the mechanics in your own way (hook over vs yarn under) - sometimes finding our own way to understand techniques makes them stick better in our minds. Keep practicing and exploring what works best for you.
      If you have any questions as you continue learning, feel free to ask! And I'd love to see your progress if you'd like to share. Happy crocheting! 🧶✨
