Hi,
I thought there is a coupon code for babbel. I had an account already there, but I was never subscriped. Now I cant use this discount? Please help! I really want to use this app. ❤
These are fabulous ! Thank you so much for the mention, I’m honored to be included with all these fast and fun goodies!
I can’t believe how alike Biscuit and Pickles look! 😹😽❤️
I know!! I was thinking the same thing!! Cat Twins!! 🐈🐈
Thank you for commenting. I subscribed to you, thank you !
The baby lovey pattern was made by a dutch person, because ´haak maar raak´ means something like ´chrochet it up´ (i know this because i'm dutch)
Wonderful! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
My husband’s family is also. 👍❤️
Me too 😂😂😂😂😂
Dutchie over here as wel
Oh wow, I thought it is Afrikaans! Exact same spelling and meaning.
I’m have a serious problem! I have a compulsion, to crochet some thing every day! I’m staying up really late lately because I just can’t stop. I mean I’m having fun and I’m still going to work and I’m still feeding my family but I seriously think I need a support group. And now I just came across this video. It’s going on 12:30 AM, and I just finished a set of coasters and a fidget toy, and oh no! I’m going to have to watch this new video!
Lol!! I totally understand! That's how I was when I first started crocheting. I just couldn't stop! 😅
Me too!!!!!!
Don't give yourself arthritis
When my hands hurt, i do a Tunisian crochet project. The different movements give my hands a break. Plus its really easy and fun. I love Mr. Pickle!❤
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Wonderful. It is great to see things that don't take a lot of time. Projects done in one day, well of course I don't have time to sit down for 4, 5, 6 hours, but knowing it only takes that long means I can get it done in a week or less. Thank you for showing these projects.
Exactly!! So glad you liked the projects! 🧶🧶🧶
I don't have much faith in one day crochet projects for myself, (even hats take me a day and a half,) but I do love these. Especially that little otter and the turtle. And yay for you guys saving a baby turtle!
That said, I love your hair in this video! Did you get a cut recently, or are you styling it differently? Either way, it looks beautiful.
Awww! Thank you, Kate! I've been using a straight iron to curl it because it won't curl with a curling iron, go figure! 🤣
Hi Elise! Thank you so much for including my shrug pattern. It´s such a fun easy project that can be made in a day. I loved the patterns that you shared and I´m thinking about getting the book as well. I´ve been wanting to make one of those little animals forever. They are so cute! 😊
I'm so glad you enjoyed all the different patterns! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for this vid, Elise! I've bookmarked several of the websites you mentioned, and I'm so grateful that many of the patterns are free. As someone living on a fixed income, yarn is expensive enough; so while I love to support pattern designers when I can, I very much appreciate free patterns when they're offered. Thanks as always for all you do, have a merry holiday season!
I'm so glad!! There are many quality patterns that are free online. And just know that you are supporting the designers by going to their websites because they earn ad revenue from your presence. So always know you are helping them just by being there! ❤️
@@EliseRoseCrochet Oh that is indeed good to know, thank you!
That Pickle, tho!! 😍😍😍
Another great pattern round-up. There have been a lot of great round ups this year but yours are hands down the best, Elise!
Awww! Thank you! I spend a lot of time trying to find the best patterns! 🧶🧶🧶
How do I find the patterns or video please
Thank you so much! I have been working for Toys for Tots and have had NO time to work on last minute Christmas gifts. This is wonderful! Much Elise! Hope you and Pickle are having a wonderful day ❤❤❤
Thank you so much! That's wonderful! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for all the great ideas, Elise. I want to do so many. It will be a great start on next year for sure.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the projects! 🧶🧶🧶
This is such a great video! Thank you for putting this list together, it is very helpful during the holidays 🎀Take care 🌼
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
I LOVE your videos. So much information. Love your energy and clear way you talk and share. Excited for this video, it was wonderful. Kitty is gorgeous. And, oh yes, I AM inspired.. thank you so much. sending love, hugs, prayers.
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! 🧶🧶🧶
Do you personally buy plastic or glass eyes from these sites. Thanks.
I buy plastic eyes! 👀
Muchas gracias!! ❤️❤️❤️
Making Granny Square Shug in a day is possible if you're a size 8 not if you are size 22 my took a month bu it's so warm and it's only in DK But Granny Square are my favourite Please do a video on history Granny Squares xxx
Thanks for sharing!! And thanks for the suggestion! 🧶🧶🧶
I am almost finished with holiday crafting and would love to try the blanket shrug. I'm currently working on finishing up my very first handmade Christmas village and it's been SO much fun. I bought a little kit that comes with all the supplies you need to create a church, 3 houses, and 6 trees. I've been a tad obsessed 😂. I think the blanket shrug will be the perfect after Christmas project.
Oh how wonderful! That sounds like the kind of project I would love!!! 🧶🎄🎅🏽🎁❤️
@@EliseRoseCrochet it was really fun. I found the kit at Barnes and Noble last year on clearance. All the village pieces are made from card stock and they include all the templates so you can make as many houses and trees as you like 🙂It took me about two weeks to put the entire village together working mostly in the evening after work. Because it's paper I'm going to have to be really careful with storing it and it definitely can't go out in the garage with everything else, most likely in a closet to protect the paper and glue from our brutal Houston summers 🙂
Thank you for the great suggestions. I just bought the knotted lovey book from your last video!
Did the link for the lamb lovey get removed for some reason? You don’t mention it and it’s not listed. ☹
I fixed the link! 🐑🐑🐑
Thank you! @@EliseRoseCrochet
I really enjoyed this video and will definitely be making the turtle. You are so enthusiastic and it inspires me. Thank you 😊
You are so welcome! 🐢🐢🐢
Thank you, Elise! You always bring the whimsy and joy to my day! This collection of huggable loveables is just screaming for me to make. 💜✌️🧶
I'm so glad you enjoyed the patterns! 🧶🧶🧶🧶
Omg you are so fantastic. I love that you always try and find free stuff for us to make. Pickles is so adorable. Thanks for sharing hugs to you and pickles
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
I am looking for a medium size sheep(approximately between 8-12” big)
My grand daughter who is now 11 has had a love for them since a baby. If only I could find a pattern for ‘Shaun the Sheep’, then I could surprise her for her bday this spring. Elise, are you up to designing a look a-like one? 🙏😘
Aww! How cute!! 🐑🐑🐑
Sitting here crocheting a baby blanket while my tabby girl is laying on my extra yarn, and boom, her twin pops up on the screen 😍🥰 kitties are the best crochet companions!!
Awwww!! I love kitty cats!! 🐈
I'm definitely putting some of these on my "crochet to make" playlist
They are wonderful projects!! So glad you enjoyed them! 🧶🧶🧶
Love your UA-cam channel! Thanks for all you do. I have the book for Dash Dino but can’t find anywhere that tells how many skeins of Premier Basix Chenille Brights it takes. Please let me know how many sage to order. Thanks again.
I used approximately 1 1/4 skeins for the body and 1/8 of a skein for the spikes! 🦖
I would love a video of your knit and crochet wearables and your experience making them
Great video, Elise! I am not familiar with many of these designers so I will check them out! The combination of quality and quick is amazing! 💜💜
I'm so glad you enjoyed all the projects!! 🧶🧶🧶
I love your videos and listening to you talk, but this is so far my favorite. Thank you 😊
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
Of course I would watch a crochet video and really want a knitting pattern I saw. Do you know the name of the knitted fingerless gloves you showed? I realllyyyy want to make them. Ps I already bought the book for the knotted stuffies!
Haha!! Those are the Pinwheel mittens. I bought the kit at Loop London and they sell it online as well! 🐑🐑🐑
I love the turtle patter I have done over 12 all have amazing personalities. I used been at Blanket and they come out so adorable. It’s the best turtle pattern I have done. So easy to understand and comes out like the pattern.
That pattern is soooooo cute!! 🐢
Hi! I am new to your channel and I am so pleased to have found you! I am what I consider a beginner/ intermediate at crocheting. I am so interested in trying to make an Amigurumi project. What skill level do you need to be to make one of these?
Sounds like you're at the perfect point to learn how to make amigurumi! Once you have those fundamental skills, it's really not difficult. The biggest thing to master is how to make a magic ring! Good luck! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks for this fantastic list! I’ve only been crocheting since August & I wasn’t feeling brave enough to make gifts this year but as a beginner I love doing “quick” projects. It’s a great way to try new things & if I screw up I don’t feel like it’s a lot of time wasted. I’ve had my eye on these blankets for a while so I may attempt one of them after the holidays. 😁
Wonderful! I'm so glad you enjoyed the patterns! 🧶🧶🧶
Ok, the one thing that my eye, is the blue and gray fingerless gloves. I know they were not part of this tutorial , but is there a pattern for those? My granddaughter would absolutely love those in black and white. I love all the items you showed.
Yes! They are the Pinwheel Mitts by Ella Austin on Ravelry. I got the kit from Loop London a couple of years ago. It's a knitting pattern if I didn't make that clear! 🧶❤️🐑
@@EliseRoseCrochet , thank you so much for the info. I did purchase them. My granddaughter will love them in black and white, and yes. I was aware they were a knitted pattern. I knit and crochet.
sorry, if this has been asked - what company is selling the Premier Basix Chenille for $3.99?
Premier Yarns! 🧶🧶🧶
This is great! Thank you for the recommendations, can you tell me where did you get the chunky chenille yarn please?
I've got all the links in the description box! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you so much for your videos. I bought the book knotted loveys I can find the amount of yarn I need for the project can you help me with this?
I used 1 & 1/4 skein for the body and 1/8 of a contrasting color for the spikes! Hope that helps! 🧶🧶🧶
I have the book knotted loveys and want to make the dinosaur but it doesn’t say how many balls of chenille yarn to use for the green part . How many do you recommend?
I used 1 & 1/4 skein of green yarn and then approximately 1/8 of the tan color for the spikes. 🦖
Oh my gosh!!!!these are such cute patterns!!!!❤😊❤
I think so too!! 🧶🧶🧶
I WISH. I crochet for 4 yeas now but I'm EXTREMELY, like REALLY extremely slow crocheter. Beanie with 8mm hook took me two days 🙃🙃 the one day blankets? more like one year. i hate that so much 😭😭
Me to it’s ok your not the only one 😅
Have you made the deer lovey yet? I have made 4 with no trouble but I’ve started the deer head I don’t know how many times but it doesn’t come out right ? 😬
I haven't made that one! Have you reached out to the designers? ❤️❤️❤️
I HAVE BABBEL!!!!
(And I love jamica and I’m learning French 😁)
Awesome!! ❤️❤️❤️
Do u have any degree of crochet? Please tell me..can we do business without degree and do u have any degree?
I am a certified crochet instructor through the Craft Yarn Council, but you do not have to have a degree of any kind to have a crochet business! 🧶🧶🧶
I would love to see the colors you pick for your granny square shrug! I love the colors you pick they are always so beautiful!
Thank you so much! 🐑 🐑 🐑
I’m second and Im OBSSESED watching ur vids❤
Awww! Thank you! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise those patterns are so very cute.. wish i had the patterns for the blankets a while back...but have them now. Take care.. blessings to you and your family.❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi!!! Do you happen to have a video making the duckies like the Dino one you made. 🤔
Sorry, I do not! ❤️
Your spanish accent is wonderful! Great job! 👍
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️
I really like a quick project also. Unfortunately for me , I don’t see chenille yarn very well😢 That little frog is darling 🩷 we are doing make and takes at my LYS every Thursday. I plan to make the granny square bauble sometime this week😊 Have a great week Elise🎄🎅🏼⛄️
Chenille can be so hard to see! I feel more than I see when I'm using it! 😅 Your LYS sounds so amazing! 🧶🧶🧶
It’s pizza in pajamas knit night this Friday. They are a fun group 🥰
There were so many in this list that I want to make 😊! Time for me to start collecting those patterns and shopping my stash of yarn 😁! Thanks Elise🤗💕!
You're welcome! 🧶🧶🧶
OMW!!! YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS VIDEO! I'LL DEFINITELY BE SHARING THIS ONE!
Thank you! I'm so glad you liked it! 🧶🧶🧶
I do crochet markets and yes the leggy frogs sell like hot cakes! Love all your videos and I think I will be making the granny square shrug also. 🧶
They are soooooo cute!! I may have to make some just for myself! 🐸🐸🐸
Looks like fun! Can’t wait to try some of them!
There are so many great patterns to try! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi Elise, great patterns, just to mention, if anyone wants a leggy frog, Rhonda Butler has no sew tutorials and her leggy frog is cute too
Thanks for sharing!! 🐸🐸🐸
I've been watching your videos non-stop, you have such a lovely and comforting energy. I've been watching you review yarn that they don't even sell in my country lol. Anyway, keep doing your thing! Love your channel!
loved all the crochet things, specially the amigurumi set!!
Oh and I would want to learn French…😊
Wonderful! 🇫🇷
So cool. I’m new to crocheting and I’ve done some Woobles kits. After those kits I wanted to make dolls like these. I’m making the frog in that knotted Loveys books, have you made it. I ask cause I’m unsure how to do the eyes. I know it shows it in the book. But I’m a visual learner and trying to see if there is a video of how to attach something like this. If you have any tip of how to attach the eyes, please let me know
I haven't done that one! So sorry!! 🐸🐸🐸
That’s I figure I try and ask someone who has a bit more experience.
Loved this video and all the recommendations. Thanks so much.
You are so welcome! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise muy bien , your pronutiation is really good. Gracias por el video.
Muchas gracias! ❤️
I love all your content and I can watch your videos over and over again.
Thank you so much! 🧶🧶🧶
Elise, what an awesome video!!! Love all the Crochet Projects! Have wonderful Holidays! Thank you for sharing your talent, passion, and love for crochet with all of us!
Thank you, Michele! Happy Holidays! 🧶🧶🧶
I bought the pattern book for the Knotted Loveys by mama made minis. No where do I see the amount of yarn needed to make the animals. Would anyone know how much size 6 yarn is needed for the main Color of each animal? One skein or more?
For Dash Dino I used 1 & 1/4 of the Premier Basix Chenille Brights in the color Sage and then another 1/8 or so of the contrast color for the spikes. 🦖❤️🧶
@@EliseRoseCrochet Thank you very much for the reply Elise, as I really want to make these animals for grandchildren The book is lovely but not having some idea of yarn quantity is the one negative to the book.
Hi Elise. I am Dutch and I can assure you: your pronunciation of "Haak Maar Raak" was perfect.
Oh great!! ❤️
You never cease to give great information delivered with enthusiasm and joy. I am so glad you saved that baby turtle. Some people are not aware that they are deaf. I loved you showing us Pickles, the Big Snuggle Kitty. I lost my snuggle Kitty a few years ago so I enjoy hearing you talk about your fur babies. Thanks so much for sharing the fun.
I did not know that about turtles! 🐢🐢🐢
Thank you for saving the baby turtle. The species is a terrapin. Love your videos 🫶🏻🐢
Thank you for sharing! He was such a cutie!! 🐢🐢🐢
Hi Elise. Thanks so much for this video! Such great variety🤩and wonderful patterns! Blessed Christmas to you and your family❤
Merry Christmas! 🎄🎄🎄
@EliseRoseCrochet thank you🤗
OMG this is such a brilliant video ! U have out done yourself beautiful Elise💗🧶. U have inspired me big time ! The idea of quick projects is super fun and super enjoyable and exactly what I need at the moment. I cannot believe how many of these lovely projects have free patterns. And u covered so many categories that I never thought quick projects were ever going to b possible. And as always u provide the best links to everything we need. Now I just need to pick which one I do first ! And big pats to your Kitty Cat🐱 what a beauty.💗💗💗🧶🙏
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! There really are so many amazing patterns out there!! 🧶🧶🧶
Just letting everyone know the dinosaur is mine and her name is Ellie from the last of us game
Thank you, Jackson! I'm so glad you love Ellie! 🦖🦖🦖
Elise, I was wondering how it’s going with the colorwork sweater you were working on. Would love to see a video about that! 🤗
It's not going well!!!! 🙈 I have to finish the sleeves and then the steek. I really wish I had taken this class in person. It's much more advanced than I am as a knitter. 😅
@@EliseRoseCrochetlook how far you've come with your knitting knowledge....challenges with a group support are better than by one's self 🎉😊❤
Love this video! Thank you!!
You are so welcome! 🧶🧶🧶
I’ve added the lovey book to my Christmas list! They all look really good! Thank you for the yarn suggestion for them as well!
You're so welcome! I hope you like the book as much as I do! 🧶🧶🧶
I enjoy your enthusiasm for crochet. I have learned so much from you. Thank you.
Thank you so much! 🧶🧶🧶
I heard an ad on the radio for babbel I will definetly have to try ittt! I want to learn Scottish! Thanks for the crochet ideas!
Oooh! Wonderful! It's so much fun learning a new language! ❤️
Thank you looking forward to all you're ideas
You are so welcome! ❤️
5:12 everybody thinks my large projects take abt 1hour so 😭😭
Thank you for curating this awesome list.
You're welcome! 🧶🧶🧶
Thanks, Elise! This was great. I want to make many of these beautiful projects. Unfortunately I have to finish my 6 other WIP first😂!
Lol!! I totally understand! 🤣
Haha, sometimes for me, doing a little and managable project like this can be the velocity I need to work on my WIPs!
Hi I'm having a problem finding the lovey lamb pattern. Can u send me the link. The link in your video is not working for me. Thanks for your time
Let me fix that!! 🐑
It's fixed...plus all the other links that weren't working! 🤦🏼♀️
Thank you so much. I love to try and make that little lamb for my grandson fir xmas.
Where can I buy the pattern for dash the dinosaur?
It's in the book from Mama Made Minis called Knotted Loveys. I have links for all the patterns in the description box! 🧶🧶🧶
How funny you showcased the dino lovey! I’m currently making him for my young nephew. I struggled with a few directions, but that may be because I bought the pattern from her Etsy shop, so I have now purchased the Kindle book. The half double crochet stitches com together very quickly! I used Hobby Lobby Cozy Occasion yarn.
Yes! It works up so quickly!! 🦖
re. the granny square shrug - I faved the pattern on ravelry September 2022, but I bet it would take more than a day for me to make it (though possibly if I *only* crocheted one a single day, I might come close, not taking food etc breaks). It's taking me an average of 2 weeks to finish a lap-sized granny square blanket (approximately 39 rows plus whatever border and edging I add)
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Has anyone made the Dash Dino & stuffed the body? I’m thinking it is primarily for little kids to cuddle but bigger kids might like it stuffed & less floppy. They are beautiful as they are in pattern. Just wondering?? Great information! Thanks so much for all the research you do & share.
That would be interesting to see what it would look like stuffed! 🦖
Any suggestions for how to use bernant blanket yarn. Im struggling shop hard with it!! 😢
This was a great video/suggestions…now can you find an extra 8 hours per day so that I can sleep instead of just saying “I’ve only got 10 more rows and then I’m done “ if only that were true 😂
Love the patterns and went and bought a couple of them you mentioned. Wahoo, can’t wait to make them 👍🏻
who needs sleep? 🤷♀️ It’s overrated 😂
Lol! Exactly!! Who needs to sleep, work, clean or cook??? 🤣🤣🤣
That second lovey: I would be careful about giving a baby an open-weave crochet item, as their little fingers and toes can get caught in them. It's an adorable project though!
Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
Hi where can I find the lamb pattern? 😊
All the links are in the description box below! 🧶🧶🧶
Have you tried the Big Twist POSH yarn? It’s wonderful! I have a hard time seeing my stitches with the fuzzy yarns, but this one was awesome. (And it doesn’t shed - even when you have to rip out stitches!)
Oooh! I'll have to check it out! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I bought the knotty lovey book because of your last 2024 prediction video!!! I love it! Can’t wait to make these cuties! ❤
Dash Dino was so much fun to make!! Worked up so quickly! 🧶🧶🧶
I have a yarn suggestion... Have you tried Lion Brand "Hometown" yarn? It's a super bulky acrylic and it's so soft. Kinda splitty though so keep an eye on it.
I haven't! Thanks for sharing! 🧶🧶🧶
I'm still a newbie at learning Hebrew. I'm using 50 Languages resources, UA-cam, fellow students, and the Tanakh Readalong, because I want to learn both Biblical and modern Hebrew. That conversation feature on Babel sounds very interesting. My mom had the CD-ROM French Rosetta Stone program, when I was younger. I preferred the game format of Jumpstart Spanish back then. There's always free, online options available, but I feel that if you choose the paid options, you'll probably get more advanced content out of them. But, you'll only get out of it, what you put into it, whatever you invest in, use it as recommended. You only get a result if you spend time doing it.
Thank you for sharing! You're so right, we only get out of it what we put into it. I'm really impressed with Babbel and how much I'm learning already! 🧶🧶🧶
That dragon pattern in this video is adorable, but do you think you could stuff it? Also not put the knots in the knee? Looking to make it more huggable. Or do you have any other dragon pattern to suggest? I want to make it big, but fluffy, pillow-like.
You could definitely stuff it and not add the knots! 🦖
Merry Christmas! Omg I wanna learn Spanish! I just love u! So inspiring! Thanks for all your vids! God bless u n your family!❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
Love these! I have a question - somewhat unrelated! (sorry) I was looking at patterns and tutorials and found one that puzzles me. The tutorial was using FLO and BLO but when I tried it like usual, it was "inside out". I went back and watched more closely and realized I had turned the project such that I was crocheting with what I considered the right side (the outside) toward me but as the tutorial continued, I realized my "right side" became the "inside" and the tutorial was inserting the hook from the "wrong side". My question is "Does it matter inside or outside except for what the stitches look like?"
I hope that makes sense! I was so confused. I know some things have definite right and wrong sides but is that true for amigurumi or is it personal preference? I will definitely pay more attention in the future!
There is a right and wrong side of amigurumi, but it really is up to you if it matters! I hope that makes sense! ❤️❤️❤️
This was fantastic! So many lovely things to make :)
Thanks a million. I truly love your channel.
Like you my darling, I have a special needs son and I'm unwell myself.
I was crocheting away a while back and suddenly, I stopped and for the life of me, I just couldn't pick up that hook and yarn!! My poor birds needed to be sewn, bags needed handles attached to them and cardigans...
Suddenly one day two weeks ago I started having itchy fingers again :) Of course first thing was to start watching your channel again which I love and find very inspiring
I'm so glad you've got the itch again to pick up your hook!!! 🧶🧶🧶
idk of a app for pc that i can import the journal to use digitally because i can't afford a printer right now because i have a drawing tablet i could use it with if anyone know pls let me know
Greetings from Huntersville! Big fan. I just started crocheting in August. I’ve advanced quickly; learned how to read patterns quickly as well. I made a Medusa doll with snake hair…huge mistake. I used cheap yarn for the snakes. The different yarns used required different hooks…still turned out ok, but huuuge mistakes. My daughter asked me to make her one…changes made…
Hey neighbor!!! We learn so much from making mistakes!! 🧶🧶🧶
Thank you for this video!! It’s very useful. Im a beginner and I currently only have the ability (in experience and patience) to do short projects. So a day project for this beginner will keep me going for longer, which is ideal. I agree and the granny square shrug is one to make!
Glad it was helpful! 🧶🧶🧶
I love everything about this video! ❤ And I best get busy…😂 Have you seen the Emotional Support Pickle? He’s so cute and super quick. He helps you “dill” with whatever comes your way…🤣 Making for coworkers this year.
I have not!!!!! I need that in my life! 🧶🧶🧶
As always, your videos are so helpful. Thànk you so much. I am making 23 gnomes for Christmas for my grandkids and great grandkids fo😮 Christmas, but love quick awesome projects to do in between for a break! Happy holidays to you and your family ❤
Oh wow!!! I'm so impressed!!! 😱🧶❤️🎄
