Best tutorial I have seen to get this job done, It is a lot of work but so worth it . In Canada I have not found a place that sells the plastic lace. I did strike gold one day at my local thrift shop, I was standing in line to pay when a lady came out with a bunch of these tablecloths and doilies and you are so right I got so excited I bought half of them and with what I bought through Amazon I would say I am well stocked, Thanks o much for this video Donna, Take Care Hugs and Smiles

hey Tuesday!! didn't they make a super pattern!! i love it too, i'm onto my second batch, these cold days the long dry makes them better i think? ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
Thank you for this video! It is very helpful and I'm going to try it! Plastic lace table mats or runners are common in Singapore. But with space constraint can only do a few pieces each time..haha
Thank you for this tutorial. I have been wondering how to get the crisp lace image. Mine have been pretty, but the lines are blurred. Can’t wait to try this.
Love this video, just wish these types of runners were more easily available. I tried this with a tablecloth I cut up from Amazon, but unfortunately doesn't work since the vinyl ones found here in the U.S. are also lined on the back side with the same clear vinyl (ie: no holes) and so doesn't take the transfer at all. Now I need to find some ideas for using that cut up tablecloth in my journals (ha!).
Hi Pamela, I enjoyed making this process video! It's amazing how it works the little plastic holes just act like barriers to the second colour and the plastic is like a suction when you lay it on the paper it stays put. when it drys/evaporates the coffee is concentrated and leaves the beautiful patterns, as for going through to the other side, i'd say that the paper is so porous it just soaks right through ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
I watched your video on making dot grids and loved it so much. You made my day more than you will know. Could I ask if the same thing apply to making grid line paper in open office? If not can you show me in the right direction please. I’m a Newby to your channel. Love what you do.

Hi Pinkie, these tablecloths are vintage so they're hard to find, i waited 2 years for this little beauty to show up! keep looking at ebay and the local facebook market place as well as charity shops. Also you can get modern plastic table runners by the yard/meter we have a spotlight store in Australia where they have it by the meter like I show in the video and Stephanie said below (or above) here ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
I have a question. Do you lay the right side of the lace plastic doilies down or is it facing upwards? I have several plastic tablecloths and there is a tip side and bottom side. So what side di you lay down on top of paper?
thanks for the tip Irene, I get a lovely clean lace transfer with the papers laid out single and flat on the table, and i do have plenty of room on my table as well and a one day wait time is a bonus! (❁´◡`❁) 💗😊

Wow! These came out beautifully, Donna! Really stunning. Thanks for this tutorial. Hopefully I can do a way better job with my papers next time 🥰💕😘
hey Tuesday!! didn't they make a super pattern!! i love it too, i'm onto my second batch, these cold days the long dry makes them better i think? ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
Thank you for this video! It is very helpful and I'm going to try it! Plastic lace table mats or runners are common in Singapore. But with space constraint can only do a few pieces each time..haha
TᕼᗩᑎKᔕ ᗩ ᒪOT even though you have space constraint you will love each paper reveal!! happy creating ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
Thank you for this tutorial. I have been wondering how to get the crisp lace image. Mine have been pretty, but the lines are blurred. Can’t wait to try this.
Glad it was helpful Cindy! happy creating and no peaking while they're drying now ;-) ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
TᕼᗩᑎKᔕ ᗩ ᒪOT Kim! that's a shame and it's the first time i've heard about the backing too, could you use it for gelling printing? ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
@@JunkJournalideas Thanks for the reminder about using it for my gelli plate, I haven't pulled that out in a while...great tip!
AWESOME!!

So beautiful! Thank you for showing us how to do this!! Does anyone know why this works? I'm flummoxed!
Love what you do.
hi Averil welcome to my channel and TᕼᗩᑎKᔕ ᗩ ᒪOT!! I made the tutorial in both word and open office yes! ua-cam.com/video/9rP69Iephmc/v-deo.html ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
How awesome this video! I cannot find the vinyl tablecloth here so far.
Hi pinkie ,
If you’re in australia , spotlight has the lace runners . In the material section . It’s on big rolls and they cut to measure
Are those the plastic table clothes or are they the cloth kind? Great video btw. I love the way you meticulously explain every step.
Thanks Suzette this is all from an old plastic tablecloth 😁 hugs Donna
Thank you so much for showing this! Can I use a cloth lace table cloth or must it be plastic?
happy too...I don't really know Barbi, I haven't tried with cloth? worth a test though? let me know if you try it ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
I have a question. Do you lay the right side of the lace plastic doilies down or is it facing upwards? I have several plastic tablecloths and there is a tip side and bottom side. So what side di you lay down on top of paper?
hey Patrica, mine has a definate right and wrong side too, i put the wrong side flat to the paper, it gives the best transfer 😍🥰🦋 hugs Donna
you know you can just stack them ontop of each other i do thry work great i but books ontop to flatten them and after afew days they dry.
thanks for the tip Irene, I get a lovely clean lace transfer with the papers laid out single and flat on the table, and i do have plenty of room on my table as well and a one day wait time is a bonus! (❁´◡`❁) 💗😊
Is Arty Mazes paper ink jet printed?
ink jets will bleed when wet Sherry so it needs to be laser ♥︎♡☆🦋
I thought so but still wanted to ask. Thank you for the heads up.
Beautiful. Did you put the bottom of the plastic tablecloth on the wet paper or the top of the tablecloth. Thanks
Hi Georgia and thanks, i put the bottom of the plastic on the wet paper 😁 hugs Donna
@@JunkJournalideas thank you.
Beautiful results! Great great tutorial! Question: does the coffee stain your table?
TᕼᗩᑎKᔕ ᗩ ᒪOT L. Harvey and yes it does! these tables are my craft tables and used for coffee and tea dying papers so i have never tried to clean it off, it adds to the next colour batch ♥︎♡☆🦋 hugs Donna
