Omg!!!! Your excitement was contagious, I couldn’t stop laughing, you really are a huge bunch of fun and a tonic for the soul, thank you 😂👍
My sentiments exactly! Contagious excitement!
'Holy macaroni!' 'This rocks!' 'I am an artist!' '..a middle wetness, happy place' ' cross pollinated again!'
I love that boozt of selv accomplishment that you give to your videos and pass on to the rest of us
Thank you Pam - love from Denmark 🌸 💕
who needs alcohol when you find so much joy in paint, ink and coffee? I found myself laughing often watching how stinking excited you get! I loved the field trip we had this morning.. Thanks for always brightening my day and giving me so many idea's.
I always have yards muslin in my sewing room that might work. After tearing into large squares for this activity, they could be hung to dry and used in altered books or sewing projects!
how can anyone possibly not like this? I note a person has said they did not like it, do you think they push the wrong button? lol it is so funny, I just love you, your energy, your passion, your parrot, opps, African Gray Holly...she is gorgeous, perhaps you can show her to us? so when we hear her we can visualise her? where is the puppy, did he get covered in coffee...xxx
LOL we all got covered in coffee!!! :)
Yes could we see both pets?
I use a cheap dollar tree litter box when dying like this. Keeps them and mess contained. I just let them dry in there then iron later. Easy clean up.
that's a great idea!
I'm buying a litter box this week. Thanks for the tip.
Genius!
You’re so much fun as always, Van Gogh has nothing over you 😂😂😂 love you Pam xxx ❤️❤️❤️
Hi traceyjanine! You are too funny! :) Pam :) !!
“That never existed until I came along.” Best comment ever! Going to say this instead of criticizing my less-than-artistic efforts.
Hi Pam!❤️🌻❤️
Love this awesome method of dying paper. It’s cheaper than going to counseling 🤣😜😂lol.
But, seriously, this is so gorgeous!! Thank you for sharing, Pam❤️🌻❤️
So true!!!

isn't that the truty! LOL!
So FYI.....I did this in the 80s on walls!!! Called ragging!! It is pretty cool!!!! Also, cheese cloth works amazing with wine!!!! Of course wasting wine has NEVER been my thing!!😉
We did this too!
Thank you! I was hoping someone had tried cheese cloth and "works amazing" is just what I wanted to see.😁👍
Loved the effect w/ the black chalk paint......reminded me of "Rorschach" inkblots when you said you saw a butterfly!! 😘🦋💖
Oh you make me smile: holy macaronies! You are such a creative person and I thank you for sharing, I love holly’s voice he is such a fun part of your videos. Thank you!
I love that you’re doing this with coffee. It takes me back to my faux finishing days. This is called rag rolling. Brilliant that you stumbled upon it. There’s also “reverse” rag rolling where you spread wet paint and do this with a dry rag. Thanks for taking it to a new level. 💗
This is called sponge ware. It’s how that made sponge ware enamel ware and pottery. Looks great on paper!
People in the old days rolled the rags into roses. And they did it to their walls like fake wall paper. I did this to my verandah floors. People though I had tiled it looked so good with gloss house paint.
It’s also called rag dying. And many other things.
Except they used a sea sponge!
Pam, I can’t tell you how much I cringed watching you dump that water with those expensive inks in them. Get some mason jars and save that water for future paper dying sessions! Oh, and try cutting the bottom off of a bunch of celery...it makes a great “stamp” to make roses! Coffee with Pam was great this morning...thank you!
"Is this - what is this? Nobody knows!" Story of my life! LOL. Thanks for the laughs, the fun and the inspiration as usual, Pam! :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
It'd be cool to see this done with old lace. Thank you for sharing!!!👍🖒
I enjoyed your energy this morning! Coffee and Pam to get me going for the day! 😂🤣
Good morning! Have a blast today!! :)
🤣
🤣
I'm so glad that we were "with you" when you had your epiphanies! Your enthusiasm is contagious. Thank you!
You were almost having too much fun. 😁 Almost. 😁 Enjoyed that immensely and will be trying it.
I wish wrinkles gave me a more interesting look!! 🥺😢🙃 Pam this is great! I'm gonna do this BEFORE I re-grout my kitchen countertop this afternoon! ❤ from the Southern California desert, MK ❤☀️🌵
I love the way you practically squeal with delight when you discover something new. It makes me feel much less foolish when I do it myself. My kid thinks I’m crazy but I only hope she finds something that delights her as much as crafting does me.
💙
Don't feel bad my kids think the same thing when I do that.
Pam you are do energetic. That's a good idea. Love the colors, takes us to a whole different level
Thanks for sharing.
“I’m a frickin’ artist!” You crack me up, Pam! 😂❤️
How fun! I had paint water that i cleaned my paint brushes in and decided to try putting it on some papers after my my coffee water was gone. Paint water works too! I saw trees and water on the paper so I painted what I saw. It is now a beautiful journal page.
Thank you for sharing! Loved your enthusiasm! I must go and try this technique!!!!!!!!😉
Pam recommends “medium wetness”
Yes, its a highly technical term ...used by many...I am sure...somewhere... ;)
😂
@@ThePaperOutpost you are a born entertainer & we all love you for it xo 🐨🥰
I'm loving this idea. Opened a can of beets just the other day & saved the juice thinking I would try coloring some paper with it but it isn't a lot of juice. Now I know how I will give it a try 😁 TFS😊
Pam, do you dry these in the oven or scatter the in single layers and let them air dry? They look amazing!
I air dried these, I spread them out overnight :)
@@ThePaperOutpost Thank you so much for answering my question. I'll be trying this very soon!
“Yes, you have the power, you can control the darkness.. very few areas in life we can do this..” 😂 omg you crack me up 🖤🙃
WOW! LOVING IT!! HOPE YOU SHOW SOME OF THE PAGES AFTER THEY HAVE DRIED!! YES GONNA TRY IT!
Hi from PA! Pam this is amazing! Gotta try this. Love to save money! Yep yep Gonna try dragging and drawing? Many paper designs with different textures. Ty ty ty Pam! Hugs
Holy macaroni! LOL Love your enthusiasm! I've done something similar using shoe polish, food coloring, alcohol inks, liquid watercolor, and acrylic paints.
Rag on Pam! That's amazing. Now you have gorgeous paper AND dish cloths in bright colors! I'd sew a bit of lace on the fabric and use it!
fabulous idea Nola!! TFS! :)

Neat idea! I love your sense of humor too. Cheers me up in the morning.
I don’t like her constant talking silly stuff and her loud bird..
Love these papers and I want your sink lol I also enjoy listening to Holly.
Oh thank you!

BEST PAM VIDEO YET!!!! Omg I love it... okay well YOU getting excited!!!
Any of the pages would work, but I could see stamping my flower outlines on some of the colors to make paper flowers! Thank you for sharing!!!
Pam, I have done the sign up for the bookmakers letter, atleast 3 x's. HELP! 😝
What a trip! I used to do faux finishes for a living! I actually had my own company called Wallscapes. The minute I laid eyes on the first one, I was triggered! Hint: For a different look, try a sea sponge. Keep rotating the sponge to avoid identical spots. This was great. Also, a light color paint over dark paper. Cool!
pretty papers. Acrylic in water would work too. I dyed my rag strips of bed sheet and sheer curtains for ribbons with it. I have yellow, blue, aqua and green. cool papers you got.
I guess you’ve gathered that some people (like me), are binge watching all your old videos now, in June 2022. This is some crazy exciting stuff, Pam😂 You don’t need to wonder what I will be doing this weekend! Come closer, all ye rags, papers and pigments. Mama’s got a job to do🤣
What a cool idea. I just dyed some paper with beet juice, very pretty. Thank you for sharing.
I love watching your videos! You look like your having so much fun 😊 I also love hearing your birdie in the back ground, so cute.
Thank you for shareing hun..love this idea n love love the chalk paint ones are my fav lol...hope all is well 🌻😁
10:50 I'm having so much second hand fun! But where do I dry 120 pages????
Laughing and laughing and got up and did some cleaning :) thank you very much for that!
lol...When Pam got so excited and said, "I'm a freakin' Artist!!" I got so tickled I almost choked on my ice tea I was drinking, yep, Pam's a choking hazard! lol...I just adore you pam, Thank you for the joy you bring to my days!!
I'm definitely going to make these such fun pam thank you ur so much fun I really do feel like I'm there with you ha ha
Hello ! Pam... This is a great idea! I used my out dated instant Folgers Coffee, and it gave a gold tone ! I loved it ! Thank you for the ideas !
You make my day!! This was awesome. I really want to try this now. You are so fun & full of life...
I just LOVE you and your videos! You ARE an artist and I want to tell you how inspiring you are to me. Im not new to crafting but I am new to paper crafting and you make it AWESOME. I wonder if you realize how much you help people, not just teaching crafting but making us feel like you are a friend while you do it. Thank you for being you.
How do you dry all that paper? Loved this seems a great way to dye paper.Thank yo so much
I was making spanish rice the other day and thought. "i wonder if i can use the Sason seasoning. i was happy with the orange color.
Love your papers! Thanks for showing your technique. I had to make some this morning b4 work I love how they came out. But I didn't have gloves so I've got blue hands lol. Tfs.
I love you rag dyeing! Pretty cool! Tyfs!
Wow!! I can't wait to try this. And the bonus is that you have dyed rags to cut up and use in your journal.
Great idea! I can't wait to try it. Thanks for sharing!
You looked like you were having fun! But honestly, how was your clean-up? I think this would have to be an outdoor project for me. Lol. TFS.
LOL, yes it can be messy, that is why I covered my counter with painters plastic sheets first :)
Your excitement is contagious. Can't wait to try this. Thanks for a happy afternoon.
Oh yesss. I love this. I have a quart of blue inky dye I need to use up. Ohhhh. Fun here we come.
LOVE THAT, thank you so much!
Hi Pam ,it's called ragging and Brusho is also a great medium to use ,ya get alot more choice of colour.Sometimes I tye dye photocopy paper just squeeze tight and wrap string around the paper and dip into the dye, unravel very carefully ,hope you don't mind me saying ,I love this idea it's fab x.
Great idea! I would never have thought of that. I do use my re inkers to dye paper but I just put o few drops on a plastic or even a big ceramic tile and spritz it with water and use a paper towel to put it on m paper.
This is wonderful, stuff,a lady said " coffee, pam to start the day I soo agree! TY.,Stay Blessed!
In the wonderful world of painting, this is known as ragging on.
Really fun to watch your excitement!!
thanks Pam you do make me laugh, cheering me up on a grey day in the UK and it's raining!
This looks so cool. I want to try it with both cotton rags & curtain lace. I never liked my kitchen anyway. Thanks for the cool ideas.
wow Pam 😃 that's great - omg I'm trying that omg yes
Love, love this Pam your so catagious but in a good way.
Great idea. I might actually have room in my rv to dye some paper this way!!!! I don’t have any chalk paint. Do you think acrylic paint would work. Think I will give it a try. Maybe I will even try pinks and blues. You have inspired me.
pigment is pigment! I would give it a go! Just remember that when acrylic paint dries its hard to remove...from countertops etc.
Hi Pam, I was watching your rag dye paper on my TV and thought wow, love that must go and get paper lol. So you were turned off lol while I went and enjoyed myself rag dying some paper. It's great getting different techniques on using paper for journals.
Pam you are so manic today - I say that with love and in a good way.
I am going to have to try doing this, usually for me when I dye papers I use food coloring and water and that works very well too.
Did you end up baking them or letting them dry naturally? Will you show how you use them at some point...pretty please!
I air dried these, spread them out on my counter over night then they were dry by morning. :) Yes, you will see them in videos coming up! I like to use them as ages in signatures, you can easily write on them :)
Hi Pam! Ohmygoodness! This sounds like so much fun! I wanted to tell you that recently I was in the hospital for six days and I was able to watch your videos on my phone while I was there. You certainly did cheer me up and keep me company and I sure do appreciate all you do. Not only are you creative but you are funny, cheerful and also sharing your beautiful feather and fur babies. I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing your ideas. 🙂
Just love you. You always make me laugh, and i love your enthusiasm too. You are so real 😊 Loving your cost effective ideas, as well. Keep it up please, and keep safe
Love watching your videos 💗 truly lifts my spirits everyday 💗 Thank you for all the awesomeness you share 💗
LOVE the effect of ragging on paper. Thank you for sharing with us.
So awesome to hear your excitment! I tried food coloring with sponge brushes totaly a blast. Thanks pam
Oh Pam! I’m on west coast so later! Look so forward to your videos!! You are a great way to start my day!! I so love your interaction with Holly!! Love the laughter!! Laughing with a friend! 💗
OMG all that yummyness, looks loads of fun. cant wait to see them when there dry. xxx
Oh my you have just opened a door for this soon to be 70 yr old who’s discovered paper crafting .
This is such a fun project and the pages turned out gorgeous!
Thankyou so much for your tutorials and your humour!!!

I am very near 78 and in the same learning boat!
Hey Pam I love this idea I'm going to try it tonight and also I love Kieran the birds in the background even with my headphones on I guess you have people that don't enjoy hearing them but I do I hate it when you have to shut the door and then we can't hear them
Years ago it was popular to rag paint walls (or glaze)! Never thought to do on paper!!!! Thank you for sharing!! ❤️ Love your channel!
I remember that!! :)
Yes...I was going to say the same thing! A few decades ago...
@@dorriwithers8924 decades, ugh! Lol
Damn glad that trend ended. Made some ugly walls..
Loved this video. One of my favorite things to do is to dye fabric and paper. I used pan pastels last time with muslin and got interesting effects. The pastels didn't dissolve well with water but I rubbed it into the fabric and got different intensity of rich color.
I love your excitement! This technique is awesome. Thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome!
I am definitely going to do this...I bought a ton of ‘Stampin Up’ re-inker that I am going to try this. Of course I have my instant coffee and boxes of tea bags from our Amish Store. I also busted my butt to Walmart to buy the flour sack dish towels a while ago. I am on my way to the kitchen...thank you. BTW I am going to try to cut one of the towels in 3rds for the later dyeing or to cut up for cluster or ya know...things...lol. Thank you 😊
You rock Georgia!! :)
Me too! I have every color they came out with a few years ago. I signed up to be a demonstrator just to get the 25% discount. I bought all the ink pad and re inkers to go with them.
@@Jana-TheCraftyGambler That’s awesome!!! Have fun!!!
What a hoot/blast!!! 🤣🦉💙🤎
Pam how I love watching your videos! You literally crack me up while giving me great information! Your truly the best
You had me giggling again! What a video! I was getting excited just watching you getting excited! Great way to get some one of a kind papers! Way to go Pam! Keep on keepin' on!
OMG I love this!! I'm thinking Watercolor and food coloring too!! 💖 Thanks, Pam! 💖
Just happened to be on my back porch dying paper and I loved watching this while I waited for paper to dry. Love your videos! Thanks for sharing!
Cool idea but I need to find room on my counter.. Will be trying this. Good morning. 😇🤔
The creative find a way!! ;)

Hi Pam its lovely. I had sort of a similar effect by putting sprayed wet coffee or ecodyed paper in between of white paper. The chalk paint looks nice but over here it's 46 euro's for a tiny bit. Thank you.
By the way, do you have an idea why I get 8 advertisementvideos in your 23 minute video? I never had that before. Byebye now
Hi! Thanks for letting me know. UA-cam is doing that without letting me know. Thanks, I will se eif I can fix it. That must be so frustrating!
@@ThePaperOutpost ye it is. Each time you are focused on what and how you are crafting for a couple of minutes thete is 1 again. 🙄
Don’t ever sell yourself short. I’ve learned so much from your videos.
I haven't used a rag but I love it- I have soaked papers in re-inkers for my ink pads, paints, Easter dyes for eggs, and food coloring..tea and coffee. I love the idea of the rags- now to rob the husbands t shirt drawer LOL
A great technique for the inner child in all of us. I love the black chalk paint effect the best and I would love to see what you do with it in a journal. Thank you for sharing the fun!
This is so cool!!! Okay, I am going to try this today, too much fun to be had and can't miss out on something so exciting! I could see the roses! Thank you Pam, great video.
Yes!!! Thats awesome!!
