You mention Chris Cornell and mostly all you hear is What a beast of a singer. But man he was a lyrical genius. His words were pretty poignant and mysterious just like the man himself. Miss him everyday.
Rishabh Bose, that's true! His lyrics, singing, and writing were all awesome. He was such an independent musician, too, he could've done so much just on his own. I'm not saying that's "wasted potential" because he was with other bands for so long. In fact, I'd say it's the _opposite!_ He was incredible, inspirational, and will certainly be missed, not only for his influence on others, but for the wonderful masterpieces he created in his time. The fact that he could do so much in such little time, however, is just a true show of how skilled and amazing he was at what he did. He found what he loved, and, even if it didn't end well... I admire the beauty and the wonders Chris has contributed to and made. What a skilled, beautiful, and certainly _remarkable_ man.

SOMEWHAT SIMILAR TO EINSTEIN...& OTHER PROPHETS BEFORE OUR TIME. THIS MAN MOVED PEOPLE THROUGH HIS SONG AND HIS VOICE,LIKE NO OTHER. MAY HE REST IN PEACE BLESSED SOUL.
This man was one of the last most talented musicians to walk this earth, Cornell was skilled in his compositions, an extreme facility to expose his vulnerability and make one reflect, a true poet. He was an excellent musician, he played drums, bass and guitar well, and before he was a singer he also composed songs thinking about the voice-drums timing for the best fit. And the vocal talent, able to reach beyond octaves, raise the tones and have a very powerful voice timbre for a man. This man, for those who appreciate good music, organic music, he was a possessor of ability, competence and mastery. No one sings like you anymore, GOD of rock music.
Part of the brilliance of Chris Cornell to me is he doesn't write the same songs over & over again. Look at Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of Dog & his solo stuff. You can easily tell which song is from which. Then in each of those songs none of them sound similar.
Chris Cornell was not only a great singer, musician, composer and lyricist he was also the frontman of 2 of the greatest bands ever Soundgarden and Audioslave (and also Temple of the dogs and great solo carreer). From 'The day I tried to live' to this Chris told you exactly how he felt. The ending was not the surprise for anyone who was a fan and listened to his lyrics.
I don't think he's lost his range at all. He is one of the few singers that have the ability to do several different styles within the same line of a song, as needed. Soft and mellow to full-on growl. Amazing dude.

Chris was awsome in all those bands and in solo. Both bands were 2 of my favourites bands of alltime. They had great names (and it's rare) with significant and simple meaning (thanks to Chris) and amazing songs that sounded like no one else. I would love your input on the first video of my first album. It got the attention of one of my heroes Joe Bouchard (ex bass player founding members of BÖC) who is following us on Soundcloud but returns from people who likes same music is always the best. I have listened to this song hundreds of times but I just realized how complex the instrumental arrangement is with the simple start of the mandolin then the strings and then the horns. All very subtle but complimenting that amazing voice perfectly! That made my day! Thank you Mr. Cornell :)
From that terrible day, to this and all the days ahead, I will mourn the silence of a singular and unique voice. It's still hard to listen to his raspy and ranged tones without an overpowering sense of tragedy....when it was always, one of exaltation.
Breaks my heart everytime I hear his voice , what a waste of such a talent & beautiful soul. So , so sadly missed " nearly forgot my broken heart Chris & I'm so happy we actually met by pure accident & didn't we laugh!, if only I knew what was to come,,
Whether as a solo act or singer of Soundgarden, Audioslave and Temple of the Dog, Chris Cornell has been behind some of the biggest and best songs in Rock!! When asked what inspired him to write this song he talked about what happens when someone suddenly realises they are moving on with their lives after a bad experience and feeling like life is going to be black forever - a very reflective song about simply not wanting to and not having to be in that miserable place any more.......
Absolutely one of my favorite male vocalists for 4 decades. I was 57 when Chris died and he was 52. People of all ages can relate to him. He has never changed in mastering his vocals, lyrics and performances. He was always a constant in all of our lives whether we knew him a long time or a small amount of time. So many musicians change to make more money---Peter Steele of Type O Negative didn't change, Bob Seger didn't change and Chris Cornall didn't change his style either. Thank God we are blessed with musicians we can count on for being there for us through thick and thin----we all have had in my opinion a great relationship with Chris over the years---he was easy to love.---Loud Love Chris R.I.P
I never get tired of this song. Chris Cornell's voice is aging like fine wine. Some may think he doesn't have the pipes he once did, but I consider his voice to be evolving.
Learn Jesus Christ the man, the son of God. Learn Jesus alone, no one else’s thoughts or discussions. Focus on Jesus alone and unlock the light that overcomes the world
Depression is a self inflicted wound. You need to accept what is as it is and take each day as a new gift. Don’t look at days of the week or weeks of a year. Look at yourself and see that you woke up you get to breath another day. You have a reason to be here even if you can’t see it yet. Depression is a thought. You can feel fine and be depressed you can feel terrible and not be depressed. The only person who can beat it or has even a chance Is you!! Live for the moment look around at the world the nature of this world. What we don’t understand…. Just take a minute and look for the food in today. And yes do that each day. And stop worrying about what everyone else thinks or does. Be yourself and find Just baby steps to get you going. Looking at a flower or an animal. Watching the clouds change. It’s ok to be depressed but don’t let it own you, because only you own yourself!! -RJL
This is such a great song! I remember listening to it on the bus ride home the day he died. The driver changed it and I just broke down. I wasn’t really familiar with his music before this song but it breaks my heart that we had to lose such a great singer and what seemed to be a great man. R.I.P Chris ❤️❤️❤️
Daily forgot my broken heart was my introduction to Chris Cornell and I just instantly loved his music with a great mix a powerful lyrics and different instruments he really got me and my friends so the real question is why do so many great musicians leave us so early in life
I don't listen to the radio much, but I heard this when I was driving and knew his voice immediately, as I've listened to Soundgarden since the 90s, but this is so different. It is seriously beautiful-- and extremely sad that his talent is gone. This song made me incredibly emotional, and I'm not an emotional person... but I am a musician. And this is fucking wonderful. RIP Chris
In this one song, Chris manages to put so much emotion into the lyrics and you can FEEL it. This is by far my favorite song of his, and everytime I hear it I'll have nearly forgotten my broken heart... RIP Chris Cornell, a legend.
Given the date and time...this is the sadest song I have ever heard..though the vocal is upbeat the words drag you right back down...but only if you listen can you catch it...remember never let your shadow stand between you and the light...even in the pouring rain of life..always alaways always find a way to overcome strive to survive.
I went out to San Juan Islands in Washington in October 2015 and the radio there played this, it was surreal hearing this northwest sound in the actual northwest.
I only started listening to Chris' stuff because of this song in the last couple years, and I'm sad for his passing. This song is truly beautiful, and demonstrates the sadness that came along with his genius. I hope that you have found a place amongst the stars, Chris.
My son, Brandon, passed away last week on May 19, six years and a day after CC. I’ve listened to the lyrics of this song at least 50 times this week and still can’t make it through without crying. But it is a major part of my healing process. I’m so grateful.

If you have just 3 minutes to listen and a bit more to comment, that would mean the world to me. Keep rockin' : ua-cam.com/video/YJqmsXd8QH4/v-deo.html&t
Chris Cornell was so Great a Poet as he was a wonderful singer.
This is probably the most powerful love song of all time. It has power to it, and it isn't "just a sappy love song".
This is his life. He told us about his life. And it mirrors most of us. Thank you Chris. For everything. ❤
Hi I Recommend a Song called 'The Bond Villain' By Robert Nix
Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart
Chris Cornell
Every time I stare into the sun
Trying to find a reason to go on
All I ever get is burned and blind
Until the sky bleeds the pouring rain
When you came along the time was right
Pulled me like an apple red and ripe
Wasn't very long you took a bite
And did me wrong, and it serves me right
And I nearly forgot my broken heart
It's taking me miles away,
From the memory of how we broke apart
Here we go round again, again
Every little key unlocks the door
Every little secret has a lie
Tryna take a picture of the sun
And it won't help you to see the light
Every little word upon your lips
Makes a little cut where blood pours out
Every little drop of blood a kiss that I won't miss
Not for anything
And I nearly forgot my broken heart
It's taking me miles away,
From the memory of how we broke apart
Here we go round again
Every single feeling tells me this is leading to a heart
In broken little pieces and you know I need this
Like a hole in the head
Every single feeling tells me this is leading to a heart
In broken little pieces and you know I need this
Like a hole in the head
And I nearly forgot my broken heart
It's taking me miles away,
From the memory of how we broke apart
Here we go round again
And I nearly forgot my broken heart
It's taking me miles away,
From the memory of how we broke apart
Here we go round again
Here we go round again
Here we go round again
Here we go round again

❤️.
So , so sadly missed " nearly forgot my broken heart Chris & I'm so happy we actually met by pure accident & didn't we laugh!, if only I knew what was to come,,
Quatumn physics, and with no boundries on time, we are lucky to have this soulful poetry of songs, chris's legacy forever.
The more I listen to Cornell, the more I enjoy his artistry. Though he's gone, he will remain through his music.
I remember when I heard first heard this song, I got the impression Cornell was depressed, but I never thought he would end his life.
It's so sad to loose someone with such talent.❤️
I never get tired of this song. Chris Cornell's voice is aging like fine wine. Some may think he doesn't have the pipes he once did, but I consider his voice to be evolving.
Can't believe he is gone. A great voice silenced. Shocked, stunned, saddened, surreal.
This is the most sophisticated lyric video I ever seen in my life
of sure!!
I will miss this guy's voice for the rest of my life..
This is not lyrics, this is poetry.
RIP Chris Cornell. You will be missed.
We want the video back, no matter how eerie it is right now
I wish more kids my age would listen to Cornell. He is such an amazing artist and just because he’s gone shouldn’t mean we should forget him. 🙏rip :(
the world needed you chris and i needed you ,,,chris got me through the hardest times of my life i will be forever grateful
He did more with integrating a blue grass and rock mix in one song than the Eagles ever did. Almost a perfect song.opps perfect song.
Fell in love with the song, with the voice back then and still am captive... What a loss... I hope the heart is healed wherever you are now...
Walking this road with Chris was the wisest choice I ever made 🛣
Such a blessing!!! His music is a gift for everyone!!
Depression is a war few win.
Learn Jesus Christ the man, the son of God. Learn Jesus alone, no one else’s thoughts or discussions. Focus on Jesus alone and unlock the light that overcomes the world
It is winnable. And no, it doesnt take Jesus, science can do it too.
Not true
-RJL
No one wins. We just keep playing
All round musical genius. Such a tragic loss. 😢
RIP Chris Cornell. You're an absolute legend.
Missing this incredibly beautiful man today.

im 62, i seen many great bands live in concert, i dont know why, but the loss of chris cornell has really hit me..all i can say is r i p
Chris you used to talk to all of us with your songs . you had understood the whole mankind
This entire album is fantastic…..
I remember when Chris Cornell passed...i nearly forgot my broken heart
Depression is a damn monster. How dare it take this genius from us.
El no sesuicido lo mataron
@@gabrielquimeybaldovino1219 what? No, no se. I'm sorry, but I don't understand. Or I disagree I guess.
Hi I recommend a song called 'the bond villain' by Robert Nix
He was not depressed, none of the sg members said so, nor his wife
Here I am on the nearly New Moon back here ❤️🔥nobody sings like you anymore 😭
Given the date and time...this is the sadest song I have ever heard..though the vocal is upbeat the words drag you right back down...but only if you listen can you catch it...remember never let your shadow stand between you and the light...even in the pouring rain of life..always alaways always find a way to overcome strive to survive.

"Every time I stare into the sun, trying to find a reason to go on"
RIP Chris
Even Luke stared into the double-suns. And that was the beginning of his long journey to new people, new lands and higher truths.😉
😢
God rest your soul, Chris Cornell.
I went out to San Juan Islands in Washington in October 2015 and the radio there played this, it was surreal hearing this northwest sound in the actual northwest.
I'm almost 66 and this may be the perfect song!
I only started listening to Chris' stuff because of this song in the last couple years, and I'm sad for his passing. This song is truly beautiful, and demonstrates the sadness that came along with his genius. I hope that you have found a place amongst the stars, Chris.
Man I can't believe that Chris Cornell is no longer with us but he and his music lives on forever. God bless him 👍
He left us with wonderful gifts.
"Every time I stare into the sun, trying to find a reason to go on"
RIP Chris
No one sings like you anymore
won't you come, and wash away the rain
Amazing talent. Another star in the sky
My son, Brandon, passed away last week on May 19, six years and a day after CC. I’ve listened to the lyrics of this song at least 50 times this week and still can’t make it through without crying. But it is a major part of my healing process. I’m so grateful.
this song helped me heal after all the awful shit that's happened to me and the people I care about in the past few years. Now the tears won't stop. RIP Chris, you Minstrel God. No voice compares to yours.
