One day I’m going to get atleast 1 coaching session from this man no matter how much money it costs, there’s no amount of money that will be too much to get to get coaching from this man. That’ll be the day 🤤
It's great Vanessa that you recap what Roger says, it's very useful. Also great to have some written tips on-screen (like the stairs or the action steps). Great video, Keep rocking!
Nothing I've written has anything to do with Roger or Vanessa! Roger Is, perhaps, the Greatest Voice Coach On Planet Earth 🌏! I listen to Roger anytime I Can. I want to learn to Sing too, even for my own Amazement 😄👍❤
Thanks for the interview, Vanessa!!! Happy holiday for you.. God bless you. I thank you a lot for you tips and amazing clues about how to develop people's skills. A big hi fron Brazil. Love you
LOVED THIS! Vanessa you asked such great questions! I learnt A LOT. I'm a teacher myself and I'm always on the lookout for tips and tricks to master speech, voice and body language. The ascending scales and the tone of gratitude are a revelation. Thank you so much!
I love this interrogation! I mean, interview! I laughed a lot at the way Robert explained things, and seeing you hypnotized and following his words with hand movements while he was speaking was hilarious! 😁
It looked fake which is disappointing to see from a communication expert. She was trying to show her listening skills but did not come across as natural
This is SO transformational! My videos will be soooo much better now after I apply this. Thank you. I have such great info but have made some of these classic mistakes.
Vanessa, I’ve been following your work for a while now and have your book! I am really enjoying this series so far. I love that you’re highlighting such a variety of people.
Thank you so much Vanessa I’ve been viewing your content since the very beginning of yours but this series of the most interesting people really levelled up the contact and professional I’m learning from so thank you for those series I needed to hear about this Rodgers’s job! And many of the other guests! Keep rocking it!
Watching Roger Love is always valuable and highly interesting. His advice is invaluable, simple to understand and extremely beneficial to those who wish to learn and improve. Furthermore, Roger is a gift of a man and we hope to see more people of a similar calibre who continue to benefit human society despite the corruption and mess that faces our world. Some advice for Vanessa and the viewer: 1) Artificial and manufactured body language (physiology), doesn’t seem to work when listening to people and therein lies the distraction. 2) In England, Europe and other cultures, pointing at people is deemed rude and offensive, so pointing at the screen must be avoided if any of you wishes to do this kind of work in the future. 3) Try not to distract the viewer/listener by overemphasising your listening skills by your increased body language which will cause more analysis of how you are performing (artificial gesticulation) rather than increased listening ability which is the more important thing. 4) When giving advice to people in caption form, check that your spelling is correct and unfortunately, Vanessa made another blunder here. (If you find some of my spelling inaccurate, I'm using British English spelling. 5) At 26 minutes, Vanessa criticises people from blowing their vitally important first impression. If you listen carefully, she takes a breath at the wrong moment, thereby blowing apart her own advice. I hope the above advice is useful for those who embark on an exciting new journey using their own voice in a manner that leads to fulfilment on one’s own life and the greater benefit to others. Best wishes.
Amazing advice! However, it felt like that you think Venessa teaches artificial body language. She teaches "stage performance" rather than effective communication. Here I disagree. Venessa doesn't teach artificial body language gestures. Yes, at the beginning it feels artificial. Even the voice practice will seem artificial at first. Then, with practice it will become more natural. Roger is using body language too. He is not just using his voice. He is using hand gestures, facial expressions as well. Your all the points are amazing. I agree, It shouldn't look like you are trying too hard or trying to entertain rather than communicate, but reasonable body language helps us communicate better.
Ty so much! I find I generally have a hard time keeping people's interest and attention while I'm talking. After listening to recordings of my voice I can tell even with subjects I'm very passionate about I sound very monotone and uninterested myself 😂!
Hey Vanessa, huge fan and lover of Captivate: The Science of People! Just a suggestion for your podcast... when you speak to the audience and repeat back to them a certain point that the speaker just made and to focus on that, it feels a little condescending or like you feel we are unintelligent. I know that's not your intention, but it comes off a little weird! Just a tip!
Effective communication is an essential skill for success. Therefore a link to this video and keywords have been added to the DR-KNOW website by IQ-2k Information Services
It was a annoying and distracting how much Vanessa kept moving while he was talking. I know she wanted to show enthusiasm and listening skills but that was bit too much and fake
The word "CELEBRITY" Almost Makes Me Throw Up 🤢 and I have been called that a few times, but It has So Many Negative connotations. Do You instantly recall Celebs that ruined the name? Of course You Must! Like "HOLLYWOOD,"
Oops 😬 wasn't ready to publish that, but I left off with "HOLLYWOOD," I have had so many offers, but I Refuse to work in HOLLYWOOD, because when an Actor says; "To Die For!" They actually mean it! Meaning that they would sell their Soul to Satan for a brief moment of Fame on Earth & All Entire Lifetime on Planet Earth 🌏 is brief by comparison to Eternal Life and I choose Eternal Life over Everything Here. I'm So Happy that Brad P. has denounced Atheism ⚛, because He wasn't an Atheist when He got there. Just Think It Over ❤

Long commercial about himself.😑
Poorly structured, very little concrete advice, too much bla bla. Not happy I invested the time to watch this.
