Good review, thank you. 06:54 "There are cheaper options that don't weight much more" -- can you point out what you had in mind? You are probably referring to steel bottles, but they typically weight around 50% more, so it is a significant difference.
Thank you I appreciate that and you are correct. After looking back at specs the usual companies double walls are significantly heavier and not many of any other competitors have a single wall with a metal lid instead of plastic! It is still serving me well and rides in my edc.
Hi Maciej, I have both steel and titanium bottles (1.2 litres). The steel one has a slightly smaller opening diameter and a plastic lid. The titanium one has a titanium lid. The total weight difference is 30 grams so there are more factors in play. Also if you consider the weight of the water inside the bottle those 30 grams basically don't matter in any real-world camping / hiking scenario. Maybe for through-hikers it matters but the experiences ones use cheap plastic bottles from the grocery store :)
Thank you and your welcome! It is nice to help someone avoid an unnecessary purchase and help them figure out what works. We are well and meandering through this crazy world:)
Hi, really cool video thanks. If you carried the bottle with hot water in, how would you insulate the bottle please?
The neoprene sheath helps a little but inside 2 winter socks does much better but does not insulate well at all alone👍hope that helps buddy!
This bottle has held up well over the last few years and because I love it I’ve managed not to lose it!:). Worth the money for me!
Hey, thanks for the review! I was afraid of the Amazon comments saying it leaks, but after watching your review I might get one.
I feel it is worth the extra money if weight savings is too priority. Mine is still not leaking after years

nice bottle
It has its place! Seems funny to me to make a video of a water bottle but a picture is worth a thousand words I guess:)
