@@satwikk9896 yeah i agree but "now"/older, before he breath war and was a murder machine and i can say he agree with that and was hunt by his action (his face is a sad one, his action trying to save/repair as much as he can imo) he kind of reach nirvana but his path was not "good", some vikings when old they change... honestly there were different kind of vikings, leiff is a "good" one, merchants, explorers, pirates, mercenaries, farmers etc. So is unfair from me to tell almost all the vikings were not"good" but historical they're are know for war and his Warriors were pretty cruel, but war is cruel, and human history is full of war sooo yeah. lol. Just a fun fact at 2:17 that is historically accurate, remember that mushroom he ate? These Viking were & are historically referred to as "berserkers" they would wear animal pelts (Bear) (Wolf) & enter a trance like state or "frenzy" biting there shields killing, attacking turning blue in the face. It is believed by many they ingested plants containing PCP before battle, hence the character in the show eating a shroom pre battlle. They were bodyguard to nobility, shock troops etc. Str8 up badasses. The word berserk comes from them. Google berserk.
What Thors says to Thorfinn, no matter what happens, is the most important part of this saga.
Thors died like Shirohige, The Standing Death Pose.

Thorfinn isn't dumb, he was at an age where he needed his father the most. He became lost and when another similar impact happened in his teen life again, he had to really think about what he's done with his life since Thors died. And even though he developed so much to be a better person, he pays for his actions with his sleep. As far as the manga goes, he will probably never have one night of peaceful sleep.

They are but they can't put it on UA-cam for copyright reasons so it's on their Patreon. You'll have to pay to see their reaction to Demon Slayer.
@@YavorDMaple It's because their channel is one of the larger ones reacting to the series so it's more likey to be copyrighted and taken down compared to the smaller ones, plus they have more to lose as it's now their livelihood. It's just not worth the risk for them which is very understandable.

I don't like how they started with Thorfinn's childhood.
In the manga you see it older first, then we get this flashback.
Then it resume.
It's better paced like this.

Nah, I'm glad they changed the order and made it seem like a current event than a flashback. Thors's death feels more impactful.

I think this way is great, imagine getting action packed stuff in the beginning then jumping into the chilled out Iceland stuff to build up to thory death which we already know is gonna happen and we know what becomes of thorfinn because of it.

This episode made me hate the anime ☹️ its good, i’ll watch it but i hate it. I hate the main character, the little kid. Loved the father. & then this happens. CLICHE.
Ethereal Phoenix Yo Thors would have dies with or without Thorfinn on the boat. The archers could have killed all the villagers the moment Thors killed Askeladd and the Berserker guy could have taken any of the other kids hostage and Thors should give up his life to protect them..
So it isn’t cliche. The son wasn’t the reason for the death.
Then stop watching it if you won't give the main fuckin character a chance to actually develop
