I actually loved it when you said that Claire might believe Jamie is dead because she doesn't know there's a season 8. It was a clear and precise way to explain why characters in the shows we watch can't always predict their own life's story as easily as the viewers can 😊
The last two minutes of this episode describe the roller coaster that is Outlander: Love, hope, reunions, tragedy, chases and escapes.... In the last two books, TOO MANY things happen, and I'm glad that, although they have had to cut several plots, the ones they have shown to us, have done so masterfully and being very faithful to the scripts of the books. What remains to be shown for the next episodes is crazy.
@@DaniLombana it sure is a rollercoaster at one point I’ll be sad and in an instant I’m overly happy, they really know how to play with the emotions. I’m currently on chapter 11 I think on the first book. Slowly but surely making my way through it, I can only imagine from what they have shown us already, it’s getting crazier every episode.
Your face was so red for the whole second half of your reaction! I love that you’re as invested in Outlander as much as I and many others. Great reaction. Can’t wait for next week.
@@bonya4585 that second half was on fire with reveals and twists, I wasnt feeling the best but boy did those moments wake me up lol thank you again for watching. I appreciate you!
I absolutely love this show and its so much fun watching someone who enjoys it as much as i do. I have read the books many times but, still enjoy both books and tv series. This episode was fantastic and I'm really looking forward to thenext one. Thanks again for your reaction.😊❤
Love your reactions. My favourite episode of this season so far. I only wish we also could have seen more of the relationship between Claire and William. "Mother Claire" ❤
@jacobitegames They do. Claire obviously sees Jamie in William (like she does in Bree) but she is also found of his own qualities. And W is just very fond of C as well. I wonder if we will see any of that in the next episodes, but I fear not. Being angry at John and Jamie and losing C as a mother (now that Jamie is back) is something to struggle with for sure.
I also loved this episode. A lot of the dialogue is from the books. Basically, the books stretch the events out over a longer time, The show can’t really do that, so everything that occurs seems to gallop along at a rapid pace! Anyway, my comments: When I took a psychology course in college (a LONG time ago…I’m 71!), they did a chapter about grief….it explained that when someone close dies, people generally do NOT commit suicide, even though they might feel like it. I loved how Claire remembered what Jamie said about death, and that helped her. I found William’s reaction VERY similar to when Brianna was informed about Jamie! She also yelled, YOU LIED TO ME! What I don’t get, in either the books or show, is why Lord John doesn’t explain to William that Jamie was not a random groom… But a LAIRD who is well educated and was a POLITICAL PRISONER on the estate. He could have done that earlier in the episode WITHOUT revealing his parentage. OR, he might have considered that since Jamie was supposedly dead, to let him know?
Sophie Skelton, who plays Brianna, broke her finger. The scene slamming the stuck kitchen drawer was added to explain her wrapped finger in later scenes.
Love the video. The bit with Brianna and the drawer was put in there because Sofie had broken her finger and they had to explain the two fingers taped together.
This season is sticking so close to the books, very much like S1 did. In the book the reader knew that Jamie wasn't dead and followed him and Jenny to France and missing the boat. Can't wait until tomorrow to see your reaction to 712!! It really is a pity we didn't get your reactions from the beginning. Love them and love seeing your love for this show. My husband watches with me and has listened to all the books. It's fun to get a male's perspective.
Those last few minutes when Jaime returned were the end of Book 7 ! We readers then had to wait about 4 years for the next book ! They are moving at breakneck speed through the story. There was a matter of weeks between John & Claire's wedding & Jaime's return. William had started calling her Mother Claire. As per Outlander, craziness pursues.
I have just discovered your channel today and watched the three reaction videos of S7B. I'm thrilled to find a man who is genuinely totally into this story as I am. The only other male that I've watched did the reactions with his wife but he wasn't really into the story since he sincerely wanted the entire first episode of S. 2 to be about Frank. 🙄 Anyway I can't wait to watch more of your reactions. Have you done the entire series? Oooh this is going to be fun.
@@bevinboulder5039 thank you for watching, and I’m glad you found the channel, I absolutely love outlander, so I’m glad it comes out in my reactions, I unfortunately did not record the whole series as I’m quite new to UA-cam, damn well wish I did tho.
I just started reading book one as well, and I am at about the same chapter. Sadly, I read so slowly there's a good chance I'll expire before ever getting through the books 🤭🤭
They will start up soon, just going over the pros and cons of having 2 channels 1 just for movies, tv, reviews and reactions and 1 for Gaming, it seems to be what other content creators are doing so just in a bit of a thought journey.

Yes, exactly! I do wish I could've seen William & Claire get closer for him to call her Mother Claire. Maybe he'll be calling her that in S8?
