He’s the most amazing character. He helped Jaime multiple times and even helped Brianna by faking a marriage proposal. He’s taken care of Jaime’s son and married a woman he didn’t love to do so. He took care of Jaimes arrest in Jamaica and Scotland. I mean come on he’s amazing

He doesn't have many scenes, but each one of them is so good and precious I can't pick a favourite. When he protected Jamie from that lieutenant, when he refused Jamie's body, when he took Ulysse under his protection, advised Brianna, recognized Jamie in his palace... so many wonderful scenes and an equally wonderful actor!
And every time he gives that look at Jamie.

He a great person in love with the wrong man! He was lonely because he couldn't stop loving jamie, and that's sad, when he knows that Jaime was with claire, we can saw that he was heartbroken

I don' t think he was heartbroken, i guess he just felt powerless . Lord John had accepted years ago he would never get to touch or love Jaime as he wanted. Still, he is undoubtedly the best character in the show. He deserved better :(

Well, we don't choose who we fall in love with... That happens irl too and despite how much we want to love someone else, that's just impossible... That's why it's better to leave or to avoid that person if it's possible, because time and distance help to move on.
*Everything* about that set down of Lenard was baller; from the subtle digs, the language, the pacing, & David’s eye contact with him at the end is just the cherry on top!

LJG is my favorite supporting character and his lack of screentime in season 5 and the fact that he won't be in the next season are a real shame.
He wasn't in the book at all so they added bits for him in the show.

Whenever i hear the word Gentleman being tossed around, Lord Grey is always the first man to pop into my head.
I think it's hilarious and really a testament to Jamie's character and obvious looks that men and women alike fall in love with him so easily. I'd say he's more popular than Claire was.
Even if John had accepted Jamie's offer, they couldn't have remained friends after such an encounter. So it would have been even worse for John in the long term.
I never understood why Claire was so outraged about Jamie offering himself to LJG, especially since he refused: how can she not see Jamie's action as a sign of self sacrifice, and LJG's as a sign of his undying goodness?? It only proves how virtuous both these men are, and how valuable and dependable allies they can be. In other words: take a chill pill, Claire.
