Just my opinion here of course, but your village really needs more wood production for now. Building, crafting, firewood, planks, sticks are all needed at this stage of growth. Perhaps make 2 wood sheds for the near future? Glad you found the moose =) Congrats on the new recruits. A small reminder, make sure the well is manned at least one or two days each season to keep up with villagers water needs. The well is manned by farmers as well. So glad you are using the washtub for rot now. It really works like a charm! I use it very successfully. Each season there is fresh rot to turn in to otherwise expensive fertilizer. FYI Leaving food in the food storage slows down degradation of the food items.
I usually do end up with more wood production when I have the people to do it. I think I had three woodsheds at one point in season 1? Oh, that's right! I need to check on water and good point about having someone work it for a while. Yep, I understand that food storage is the best food preservation but it'll all rot eventually regardless. I just needed to accelerate some of it ;) Thank you Mojo jojo!
Enjoyed this show today! You were only cold because you were barefoot, the heat had to kick in before you stopped shivering. Check the bottom right of your inventory menu, it gives you the stats on your comfort. You were at 75% with warmth and -30% on cold after your feet warmed up! Where you hunted the Moose is where I have my Village but I'm half way up the hill. There is an abandoned bandit camp up there (in my game) right on a semi-flat area that I wanted to put my house. And yes, Moose and Deer will run for a while in a big circle. I also had to watch a Moose when I needed the meat (and I wanted my iron arrow back, I only had 10) and it does take a bit of time. Yes, you can assign a woman to a house if the man is assigned first. As long as there is an empty spot for the opposite sex you can add to a home.
LOL! Yeah, I must have forgotten to put on my boots and then sold them when they weren't being worn. Oops! Ok, good to know I'm not alone in having to deal with circling moose ;) Also good to know about being able to assign a lady to a house too! Thank you! Much appreciated Strwbryz Rule :)
Hunting is definitely more challenging than it used to be. I think they found a good line of just short of too tough for starter hunters, but chasing down wounded critters is certainly a pain. And wisent are best treated like bears I think :)
Wonderful video oozing in charm and good humour as always, many thanks Ohno. Yeah, treat wisent like an infantryman would a tiger tank- with extreme caution! It's a little way off just yet but getting animals to breed and then raising them to adulthood then selling them is a really good way of producing decent amounts of revenue- first of all get the animal feed production sorted which means either separate large fields for oats and rye or a very quick changeover on the same field! Thanks again Ohno, looking forward to seeing teeny weeny Ohnono in the near future! ;-)
Thank you Nick! You just reminded me that I need to make sure I have some animal feed... awesome :) Yes, I do plan on dedicated fields for rye and oats eventually, it'll happen! Much appreciated :)
love your all your play tho u make my days go by better after i had spine fusion surgery cant do mush but your vid are so awesome and i learn alot when i play my games Big thank you Ohno
Hunters go through stone knives with a passion matched only by Ohno's passion for picking up sticks! 😂 Welcome to the joys of moose hunting! "Curiosity killed the cat." One of life's most misquoted quotes. Its actually "Care killed the cat" with care meaning caution. I know, curiosity makes more sense. You should edit the other house names. That way, you may have noticed that Dalebora is only 20 and might have been a better match for Pryzwit. And thats all I have to say this time round. :-D
I think you're right! I keep having to make knives for her! You are quite right in that I have to update the houses now that I have more of them and they have people. That said, I have a plan for Dalebora as one half of my mining power couple ;) Thank you Badger!
LOL been a while but been catching up on this season , loving it. And sooo Sorry but laughing myself silly when wisent attacking your character omg I feel bad
@@OhnoCoho I always remember your first experience with wisent.. you went up to one, like it was a farm pet, lol then it started bopping you around ahh hahahaha.
The new people are really good! (The young guy might better fit to Dalebora, who's 20 ;-) Maybe you should label the new houses. It's very convinient to see in management who's living in which house. And can you add the man's name to the sign? Be aware that your health is still a bit low. Nice video - and good hunt!
Heh, heh... I have plans for Dalebora as the one half of my new mining power couple ;) I do indeed need to update the house names! Thank you for the reminder :) Much appreciated Gerda!
In the Knowledge Tab it says that there can be a 20 year age difference between people, so you can put a 19 year old with a 30 year old person. They will eventually have children.
I think I have tools being made by my smithy but I should keep an eye on that :) Unfortunately, I don't think I can make clothes for my wife or any of the other villagers. Oh well :) Thank you Alison!
@@OhnoCoho Thanks for letting me know it exists, I must not have looked through the buildings well enough. I definitely havent unlocked it yet. Watching this video series from the beginning I thought it was a good idea putting old food in the "rot-tub" to keep it consolidated. I dropped a few hundred berries in a random location by one of the lakes and by chance happend upon a few hundred rot a couple seasons later by the same lake. I laughed all the way to the barn over 1000m away. 😅
The hunt was very exciting. Congratulations on your new people; I hope you can maybe find a young woman who likes tavern work so you have a couple running it when you get around to making a tavern.
Diplomat is the one skill that can only be used in the market stall :D but a 3 claims to get you good enough prices for good and about 1500 coins in the trunk each season. So stalls are good investments when you can get them. I have two :D they pay for 90% of the taxes of the town.
@@TheOriginalBadger Mine two claim to make 1500 a day. I keep them stocked up with their products but they still only make the daily each season. so total is 3k a season when they claim to be selling 1500 a day worth of product. Also someone keeps on drinking all my booze.
When did they change the age not a problem? I have never matched them off more than 5 years apart since I made a childless pair of roommates by 6 years. That was a year ago but I never saw they changed it in the notes on updates.
@@OhnoCoho - Personally, I would disapprove of any pairing being denied because of age difference, who someone likes is personal preference, not age difference. The biggest worry I would have in matching pairs up would be the youth of the female, because you can't pair a woman up before 18 but I'm also guessing the Code has her unable to reproduce at 40, so that is only a 22 year availability for reproduction, and having kids is I am guessing important for the village lifespan/success. for example, you kept looking to see about matching people up as being "Good Matches" me, the very first people I would be pairing up would be the oldest ladies first, as they have the least amount of time before they can no longer have offspring, so get them paired up first before they run out of fertile time. The 19-20 yr olds can take more time because they have more, but those women in their early to mid 30s need to get busy getting busy fairly quick you know.
I told you the injured moose can smell you. See why I said to be clean. You killed the male then gutted and cut it up. That has always been enough for them to run for a year from me. Yeah, only 7% but as soon as you hit it anything over 5% is noticed from like 1/2 a mile. I think they need to fix that in-game.
at the end, you didn't notice that Delabora is youngest and still single, she could be potential match for the young lad.
I have plans for Dalebora, she is a level 3 extractor so I want to make her one half of my mining couple ;)

Great video. Comment for the algorithm 😇
Much appreciated White Wolf :)
I also lost my shoes at one point and found them in the food storage, nothing says soup like a soggy boot in the pot lmao!
LOL! Tasty! :)
OMG watching you hunt that moose gave me anxiety. Just rush the damn thing.
Normally, if you just back off then they calm down. Rushing them just makes them run away and it is much harder to hit a moving target.
you are giving lamberta a cub lol
LOL! Yes.
The wisent battle was exciting! That final shot was just in time 🎯 Looks like Racimir Jr. will be joining us very soon 😏 Great video OC!

the compost bin lol whoever thought of that is Genius

Cant believe that there is no composting shed or bin or something like that in the barn... Strange...
They added a composting bin as a separate buildable not too long ago. It doesn't have great capacity though :)

Does the money island cons respawn or just the once?
Hmm... I do not know :)
I haven't been back to check since I found it the one time...
