    Ohno! You nitwit! You didn't see that Baldwina is carrying your child! Go to the people tab and a lady with a green 'bump' on the far right hand side is expecting- little Ohnono is on his way! I would fight the temptation to stick goods in anything other than the main resource storage (or food) I can never be sure my folks can access stuff they need if I put it, for example, in the barn stores. I think your pigs should be named Herman (for the boar) and Georgina (for the sow) no reason- just think they're fun names! Another hour of bliss watching your endeavours in Med Dyn- my deepest thanks.

      Oh! I didn't notice that! Awesome, that is great news about Baldwina and Racimir :)
      I'm also hesitant to use the barn storage for things; however, most of what I've put in there is stuff I plan on processing myself. It's a very good point though :)
      You are very welcome Nick!

    On the quests, you can politely decline them and no harm done, unlike if you accept them then actually fail them. By declining them they stay as live quests for the rest of the season and you can come back to them if you want. So near season end you can ask about them, then decide if you have time to complete them or not.

    Thank you for the episode! I always thought it was a bit confusing that the well is an extraction activity but requires the farming skill, the herbalist is an extraction activity but requires the survival skill, and the innkeeper is a crafter that requires the diplomacy skill. Sheez, I was recruiting the wrong people at first, but I think as their skill goes up, they become happier.

    For the animal feed/seed situation I have my barn workers set to not make animal food. I still have them thresh the crop but I just sort the animal feed myself every now and then.
    Also for the human food there's a list in the last tab in the management section. It shows the order of food they'll choose and also let's you forbid items, same for wood so they only use firewood and not logs etc

    • @OhnoCoho
      @OhnoCoho  3 роки тому +1

      Yep, I think that is what I'm going to do as well, let them thresh the crop but I process the animal food. It makes sense to me given all the options.
      Oh, I did not know that about the food section in management. I really should have looked closer. Thank you Tian!

    You could put the oat grain and rye grain that you need for planting in your own chest in your house until you need it for planting.
    With assignments, there *is* a quicker way of adjusting it. If you press and hold F, it will move (slowly at first til it gets to about 10) then faster that just mashing F.
    Yeah, the changes to Field Management have not been an improvement. I preferred the old method.
    When chopping trees, what I do is, have my brass axe *and* a stone axe. It only takes a second to swap between them, and once I have cut down the tree with the brass axe, is switch to the stone axe to chop it into logs. This just makes the brass axe last that little bit longer.
    People can't eat flax and the oats are food animal food....don't forget people-food crops. :)

    • @OhnoCoho
      @OhnoCoho  3 роки тому +1

      Yeah, that is the choice, either set aside seed for planting or do not configure automated animal feed production. Even if you store seed in your own chest you eventually have to put it into the logistics network so that farmers can access it. I still worry that in the interim some of it might get converted.
      Press and hold F... got it!
      I prefer the old field management method too ;)
      That is good idea with the axes, I probably wouldn't do it but then I can be lazy about certain things ;)
      Good thinking on the people food crops! I will get them sorted :)
      Thank you Badger!

    1 stone makes 5 throwing stones. Both a stone and a throwing stone are worth .1 coin. But if you change 1 stone into 5 throwing stones you get .5 coin. Is there an advantage? You got 2.5 coins from the 5 stones you changed into throwing stones. The weight though works out to the same.
    If you do a quick save then ask what they need. You can save yourself the trouble if it is too much with too little time.

    • @OhnoCoho
      @OhnoCoho  3 роки тому +1

      Ah, right, I didn't take into account the ratio of ingredients to product. It's the weight that would make them less desirable as a money making endeavour. I think arrows and knives are still my favourite :)
      Good point about doing a quicksave. I'm better about that than I used to be but I could use it more :)

    Hi Ohno, I have some news for you and hunting skill points. The skill that allows you to have more traps scales differently now. Where it use to be 1 more trap for each point of three you could put into it. Now at level 2 I have now, I have 4 traps each. The third level will let me have a total of 8 of each type of trap. honestly that has me hesitant. But good source of fur, feathers, and meat. However you seem to be building traps ALL the time. Also they seem to still work fine when all together.

    • @OhnoCoho
      @OhnoCoho  3 роки тому

      Oh, now that is a difference with the traps. I will definitely need to get on top of that because eventually I stop hunting and rely on traps for growing my hunting skill :)
      I used to have two rabbit and two bird traps all in one place and it worked fairly well. I've been keeping an eye on it and it seems that hasn't changed :)
      Thank you Merl!

      @staticthewhitewolf7040 3 роки тому

      You also get the same points per trapped animal that you would if you had hunted them but not the little extra for skinning. It works out to 3 points per kill, I can not find a difference between the kills of wolf bear moose or rabbit. I hope they fix that someday. you do get more for skinning the different animals. But I do all the farming so It gives me some hunting while staying at home. I love the traps as they are the only reason I got high enough hunting to get the level herb shack.

    - Here is an interesting question : If you make nice warm clothing for the Storage shed and leave it in there, will the citizens of your village equip them to keep warm from the Village stock supply?
