Ive come to find in this game that if it makes even a little sense, you can probably do it. Wanna apply a health potion to arrows? Neither did i but i found out you can on accident.
The dog is also a great way to orient yourself on hardcore mode. just have him stay at the arena in Rattay and he will always be on your compass so you always know approximately what direction you're going
Very true! I use him all the time in the Hans Hunting Quest and leave him at the camp to go get extra hunting XP. If it gets to be night time in the woods it's so easy to get lost there so I just navigate back to him!
Dude that drinking water tip is legendary! Good job, great video! I hopw you keep making content bro, because your videos on KCD are very helpful and well-made!!
I will add one. if you hunt for meat it will be marked as stolen unless you have been made huntsman of Talmberg. However if you take the meat to a campfire or cooking stove and cook it, it removes the stolen tag from the meat, so you can sell it to anyone who deals in food items
That's a good one! I'll add to it and say when the food is cooked it doubles it's life (from 1 day before spoiled to 2) and it raises the value of the meat slightly so you get that little bit extra from vendors

I've played hundreds of hours and never knew you could apply potions to water like that! So neat. Thanks for these good tips. I barely ever find tips and tricks videos that actually have something I don't know! Great vid! Subscribed
Games like this I’m OK with mechanics being poorly explained. I love the feeling of some thing being a pain in the ass and then I figure out a better way of doing it a.k.a. the way you should’ve done it all along. I saw a video yesterday about someone complaining about the initial combat tutorial not explaining anything isn’t that kind of the point he wasn’t being taught by master it was just some random dude. I would love to wipe my memory and play this game and red dead redemption two again. Anyway, rant over the love videos man. I watched your video on drinking in kcd and I use that tip all the time now.
I agree with you! It took me probably a couple hundred hours with the game before I was really comfortable with all the mechanics and even today I still discover new things on each playthrough. I'm hoping this just opens up things for those that do complain to help them realize the game has everything you need, just listen to dialogue, advance the main questline and don't be afraid to make mistakes and mess around.
I didn't know the trick about the saddle or the drinking waters and I have slightly more than 1000 hours of playtime on Steam! Thanks a lot! It's amazing! A little tip for players who love to steal everything in Talmberg in the prologue before going back to Skalitz to bury your parents, but don't want to be overburdened is that if you escape from the city with a stolen uniform, the guards won't declare an alert at all. So, you don't have to hurry to Skalitz. You can go to the town's inn (south of the city on the other side of the river a little before the Master Huntsman's lodge), rent a room, drop all your non needed gear and loot in your room's chest and go back to Skalitz. Everything will be in your chest at the mill once you regain consciousness in Rattay and you will be able to sell it. Some will still be marked as stolen of course. I generally come to Talmberg loaded with a ton of herbs and then I steal everything that I can from the armory, so I have a lot of stuff to drop in the chest! 😆
On the other hand, if you do take everything to Skalitz, it automatically gets rid of stolen tags if it's in your inventory when you get transported to Rattay. So even though it's a massive pain in the ass to walk all the way to Skalitz overburdened, it is worth it since all the stuff can immediately be sold or worn as soon as you wake up!
Another few tips and tricks; at the beginning of the game, there are a few guards that roam around Skalitz which can be taken down silently if you quickly go behind them. Hide their bodies and then loot their gear. You'll have some armor which might help you defeat some cumans and have extra gear to sell eventually. Also, before you go further into the mission before Skalitz gets destroyed don't forget to go into your house and get into the chests. I think there is one that needs picked, it will have some stuff and also you may find one of the demonic die in there as well.
I just started playing the game after its been in my backlog for like a year and I'm really glad I found your channel while looking for tip videos. Im still in the prologue and picked at least half the herbs in town before betting bored lol. Its an incredibly fun game so far and your videos are teaching me a lot
One thing worth mentioning is that you can do the same "item wash" from peshek tip with almost everyone - every trader has a chest that stores every coin spent with him, so, (e.g.) you can buy some savior schnapps from an alehouse maiden and get the gold back from the tavern chest, you just need to find the correct chest. The only exception that i found is when you buy a horse, the gold seems to vanish - dont know if it is the same with other "services" related like the baths, but with "normal" items it seems to always work.
That's a great point. You can do it with vendor it just always seems Peshek is the easiest. Since he never accesses his chest once it's unlocked it always stays unlocked unlike normal vendors that put their items in the chest every night and relock them. Neuhof stud farm is another chest I like to do the item washing since she never relocked the chest either and seems to have only a 2-3 day restock cycle
Here I am with a bit over 300 hours and had no idea about the drinking water and the saddle. The drinking water one is so broken, saving so many potions. The brewing of potions tip is welcome too. Glad I found this guide since it's hard to find useful tips after playing for over 300 hours.
Loved this list/video. Half of these I haven't know, and I've beaten the game 3 times! A tip that I use every playthrough is that it's possible to kill all the Cumans at the start. Once you mount the horse, ride back and forth through the Cumans while stabbing with the sword, don't slash. The sword can't break and does massive damage. You can easily kill them all and then choose the loot you want to take with you and sell later.
Thank you! I loved putting it together! It's been a while since I do a kill everyone in/around Skalitz run (usually only on a min/max run where I try to squeeze every single chance to level up the game gives)
Man, what a FANTASTIC collection of tips & tricks! 🏆🥇 Not only were some of them truly ingenious, but I also loved the way you inserted those hilarious cameo clips from “Family Guy” & “Airplane” too, at just the right moment, for added emphasis. 😂 You deserve WAY MORE subscribers than you currently have (which I’m sure you’ll get, if you keep up such a high standard) & you just earned another one from me. MANY THANKS! 😊👍
I'm fairly new to the game, watched a fair amount of content about it so far though and this is one of the most informative and well put together videos that I've seen. Fantastic job and you've earned a new subscriber.
I am amazed. I have two playthroughs of this game behind me and legit every tip here was new to me. I don’t think this ever happened to me with videos like this. Thank you ❤
i would add one big improvement: before going hunting with capon you have to learn the master strike from Bernard. I suggest doing it as early as possible, cause if you start the hunting quest it takes a long time till Bernard is ready to train you again and the master strike is singlehandedly the most op weapon action in the game. btw the weapontype you learn it with doesn´t matter it unlocks it for every meleeweapon.
I have over 300 hours in this game and I even learned shit today. Holy crap thank you so much. That saddle trick is now going to be my go to. Not to mention, I never was brave enough to try hardcore mode as I’m easily lost and did not want to have to abandon the game halfway through because I couldn’t get myself unlost. But now I think I might be able to give it a try thanks to you. Cheers mate!
This is the highest quality "tips and tricks" video I've ever seen. I've got about 100 hours in game and have watched many YT vids for the game, every one of these tips is new to me.
Wow man ever since i got this game 4 years ago ive watched so many videos looking for tips tricks and just generally trying to play better or remember how to play haha but this video is by far the BEST THANK YOU!!
Haha next playthrough maybe. There's another way to get the saddle for free a bit later on after Ginger quest so no worries. You can still get it fairly early
When it comes to the searches, I just let them come to me, initiate the conversation, but offer to pay them instead of trying my speech or charisma on them. Gets rid of them AND doesn't cost me any reputation. Rep actually goes up.
That's fair and a great strat as well. I guess my goal with that tip was to show that the nature of the crime matter. Games like Skyrim will take all stolen gear away whether you get pickpockets someone or kill a chicken. This one varies so if you get caught doing a crime like disturbing the peace, they don't automatically take everything stolen out of your inventory
Wow, it's a new video and genuinely I've learnt something new - the potion trick seems great! I've found out recently that while playing on the controler, if you hold left arrow Henry will automaticly equip torch - don't know if it's me who's slow but that was also life changing haha
10/10 great video man. I've watched a few and yours was the only one that not only were all the tips incredibly useful but they were tips no one else has talked about. Bravo!
Thank you!! I'm glad it helped get you some actual advice! I was really hoping to avoid obvious stuff that everyone already knew so I'm glad I was able to do that!
i have 1500 hours in the game, i have done so many different things in this game, i have streamed it to hundreds of viewers and players, i have spoken with so many people about it. i didn't know any of these 8 tips! i knew that i can make marigold decoction without the fire, had no idea about the rest of the potions. had no idea about the water. had no idea about the saddle at skalitz had no idea about the size of the sweet spot at the start of picking locks. thanks for a very enlightning video
Ive been watching video after video and learning so many tips and tricks and honestly just playing the game has taught me twice the amount. Especially lockpicking.
After 1000+ hours in this game, I was convinced I knew everything there is to know about this game, I'm so untouchable in combat I literally don't even need to wear armor. Yet, you managed to teach me new things I wouldn't have otherwise discovered on my own Kudos!
I just started a new game and decided to become a traveling alchemist, started by making marigold decoctions by using the no boil method, ran it until i had auto brew. Huge thing with auto brew, if you spam the auto brew button you can essentially just non stop make potions with no camera swing or delay in making, just keep spamming the auto brew button. Each auto brew only gives 2xp vs the 40xp from making on from scratch, but spamming the auto brew you can get that 40xp worth with WAYYY more potions made in the same amount of time. It does take infinitely more resources, but marigold and nettle is so easy to find it’s insane. Once i got to level 15, i was able to make hundreds of potions in minutes and made an easy 30k groshen by the time i started playing the main game.
Yeah, getting auto brew is no doubt a gamechanger for the Alchemy tree. I've never been able to do it endlessly but I know I've been able to at least do it 2 times back to back (essentially making 6 potions at a time). There is a bunch of resources right around Rattay to collect on ingredients too so usually in my playthroughs I don't run into too many issues finding the herbs (at least low level ones like nettles, marigolds, and dandelions). Glad to see you roleplaying as a certain kind of character. Definitely a viable option of money making!
@@Griff_Gaming I think the only way to keep enjoying these games Is to roleplay IMO at least, this play through i’m playing as that traveling alchemist who’s been thrusted in to service after running in to a bandit camp and nearly dying. But anyways lmao there’s a real cadence to the button mashing but i’ve gotten it to where i can just keep going auto brewing, idk how to explain it but as the second spam one finishes hold the toggle stick up and just keep going, as the second one finishes your camera quick jumps to the book again and you can insta start it over
@strawssuu9938 for sure, part of the reasons I started doing the challenge runs. I've gone through the game so many times I find it keeps it fresh by making a backstory or imposing a rules set that gives unique ways to solve problems!
I doubt new players would notice, but showing Pious getting shot in the face at 0:50 could be a major spoiler for that quest. Anyway, its always great to see new KDC videos!
Maybe but if they are new they won't really know what they are looking at 🤷♂️ especially because that's not even close to "passing" the quest (falling down the side and killing the first person I see)
350+ hours invested into the game and I have never thought about the drinking water trick. I did try it with the cauldron though but the time the effects last were significantly reduced
I play this game so many times and I never thought about using the potions on the water. I've never even used the potions on food. The only time I've ever used a potion is to poison the sword I'm using As for the guard stopping you to check for stolen goods, I never thought of that either. What I would just do is ignore them all together and just keep moving until I got to my home chest and put everything in there period of course after that I have noticed immediately I wanted after that. I never thought about just fighting them off and then surrendering. Because I always thought that would not work See now I have to go back and start over and get that nobleman saddle for free
Wow, great tips. I just started playing KCD and I knew from the start that this will be one of my fave games of all times. It’s challenging yes, but it offers you different ways to deal with quests… How did I missed this gem before.
It's was missed by quite a few people so don't feel bad. I think the sequel trailer made this game explode with popularity! Enjoy! This is a fantastic game!!
Dude!!!!! The bird cage map trick literally is going to stop me from quitting hardcore mode. I was getting just a bit too intimidated by constantly having to orient myself, I am terrible with directions in real life in game….. I was actually doing okay, but sometimes found it a bit tedious having to keep track of where I was.
Its mostly easier/quicker to just bribe/ haggle price with guards that ask to search u... they take the money and leave... plus if u dont want to do that, it can be good to let the guard take yer stolen loot, then that guard has everything and u can farm pickpocketing by just following and pickpocketing the guard that stopped u
I guess I've had good enough Speech so it hasn't mattered, but I have been putting stolen goods on my horse thinking it was only my person who got searched. Had no idea all this time I've still been at risk.
That used to be the case when the game first came out. Not sure which patch it was but if you get caught (and searched) they not only take inventory off you and your horse, any stolen inventory you dropped on the ground in the surrounding area also gets taken so it's clutch to just not give them the chance to search you!
I've been playing the game since about a year after it came out. I didnt know about rhe potion thing in the beginning and the saddle thing at the end. Both are extremely useful.
My fav is the guards arrest you for picking something off the floor then they go around and loot everything saying, "Who would leave this lying around?" "ME, moth****cker because I didn't want you to see it in my inventory when you searched me!" Lol
Plated KCD when it came out and had to drop it, other things to do and getting back into building up the character was a chore I didn't want to take on again. Started again last week and I had forgotten how good the game was. It's been a long time since a game made me stay up late to see what was next.
Maybe on the next one but there's plenty of times within the game to get that saddle later in the playthrough. My 8 more tips and tricks vid shows another spot you can get it for free
before even watching, the best thing i ever found was practicing sword fighting a TON to have a decent chance at winning fights. it was so time consuming but very worth it
Best way to make money - steal tons of things in Rattay (weapons/armor). Give it all to Peshek for free. Wait for a few days. Break into the barn, steal back all the items you gave him plus a ton of money he gained. Rinse and repeat.
The chest has magic. You just place your stuff inside the chest and wait until all your stuff transform into money. I call it magic chest exploit. You completely bypass the middle man and stealing his money in the process.
Another trick, so as not to get searched with stolen gear, is to transfer it to your horse BEFORE leaving the building where you stole it. (It’s a strange quirk of the game, that it allows you to transfer stuff to your horse even when your horse is a long way away from where you are… The Developers presumably did that, to save you the hassle of walking back & forth to your horse endlessly, especially when overburdened with looted armour & other heavy items taken from the corpses of defeated Bandits & so forth?) Either way, to be on the safe side, if you’re looting numerous shops in Rattay for example, do that with each one, then WALK out of the Town & - once you’re a safe distance outside - WHISTLE for your horse & ride off to your nearest Trunk. 😊👍
Now to the best of my knowledge they had removed the feature where stolen gear was safe on the horse (patch 1.5 maybe). So if the gear is on your horse or you just drop it in the ground so it's not "in your inventory" the guard grab it either way
@@Griff_Gaming I thought that only applied if you were on or with your Horse at the time… Does that apply if your horse is nowhere near you when you get searched? For example, when I stole Hanush’s Illuminated Manuscript from his chambers in Rattay, my Horse was parked on the other side of Town, but the game still allowed me to transfer the book to my Horse, as soon as I stole it, before even leaving his chambers… If I got stopped & searched by a guard while trying to walk out of his chambers, would the guard search & find the book in my Horse’s inventory, even though my Horse isn’t with me at the time?
Not gonna lie, that might work but my horse is never far away from me so I should word it better. The guards always find anything stolen on my horse because it's almost exclusively parked 5 feet from me. It could be it's a distance thing so that might just work
It's alright. There's a spot you can still get that for free as a quest reward fairly early into the main questline. After completing the Ginger in a Pickle questline, go back to Nora in Neuhof and she has a quest for you. If you "win" what her quest objective is she will give you the noble saddle w 4 bags for free. Not sure if this is your first playthrough so I tried to keep it fairly vague so as not to spoil anything
@Griff_Gaming I've played before but thank you. I never played the dlc bc my original save couldn't be used with the royal edition so I been putting off replaying the game for awhile. Really wanna play from the ashes just didn't want to have to earn all that groschen again but I'm glad I started over. Love this game!
With the lockpicking on controller instead of using just your thumb on the right thumbstick to rotate, hold the stick between your thumb and forefinger, it's much easier to control the rotation that way.
Great! Now I can steal in Rattay without worry about the guards!! (Then use the Peshek stash trick I already knew just to put the stuff in there, wait for him to sell it, and then take the earned money!!)
Exactly. Wash the stuff you want, leave the stuff you don't and grab your money back. Beats hauling it all up to the vendors. I still will from time to time with high level gear to raise speech skill and build their groschen pool to steal that later but most of the heavy cheap stuff (gambesons, chainmail, etc) I just let peshek do the work for me
@@Griff_Gaming Here is a tip for you. Every hour in game time, it takes away 5 groshen from the value of the stolen item. EX: If you have an item worth 20 groshen, it will take 4 in game hours for the red hand to disappear in the inventory.
I just got this game while its on discount! Great video, thank you so much. Its certainly a more indepth and complicated game than I anticipated.. I hope I can get through it without raging quitting 😂
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you'll still prob rage quit at least once, at least I still do from time to time. Either a glitch or a crash but it's still fantastic regardless of that

Too bad he releases videos far and between
the marigold with water trick amazed me never thought of it i have 490 hours on this game

And garlic has negative nourishment so can always be eaten, and can have potions applied to it (but only 1 garlic per potion used, unlike 5 waters)

I'm fairly new to the game, watched a fair amount of content about it so far though and this is one of the most informative and well put together videos that I've seen. Fantastic job and you've earned a new subscriber.
Thanks Doug! Glad you enjoyed!
Even after so many hours in the game, I learned a number of things here - great video - thank you!
Awesome, glad it helped!
I am amazed. I have two playthroughs of this game behind me and legit every tip here was new to me. I don’t think this ever happened to me with videos like this.
Thank you ❤
Thanks for watching and im glad you learned something new!!
i would add one big improvement: before going hunting with capon you have to learn the master strike from Bernard. I suggest doing it as early as possible, cause if you start the hunting quest it takes a long time till Bernard is ready to train you again and the master strike is singlehandedly the most op weapon action in the game. btw the weapontype you learn it with doesn´t matter it unlocks it for every meleeweapon.
Very true, I had covered it in previous vids so I didn't mention it here but master strike is great to know early
Just recently got this game for 3bucks through Xbox deals I die a lot Beacuse of the combat system but it’s amazing I deleted Starfield for this gem
The combat gets a bit easier the further you go and learn new abilities. It is a fantastic game though!
@@Griff_Gaming I beat the game and have only completed 25 combos lol
I've played KCD for almost 500h and didn't figure out this drinking water lifehack, thank you!
You got it! Thanks for watching!
Great videos. I just started KCD and you’ve helped me tons. I would’ve made mountains more mistakes than I already have.
Awesome to hear, it can be a tough game to navigate, glad it helped!!
Thank you, glad it was helpful and good luck in hardcore mode!! My favorite way to play!
Yo thanks, that Saddle and Potion tip are super helpful.
Glad it helped!
This is the highest quality "tips and tricks" video I've ever seen. I've got about 100 hours in game and have watched many YT vids for the game, every one of these tips is new to me.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
Wow man ever since i got this game 4 years ago ive watched so many videos looking for tips tricks and just generally trying to play better or remember how to play haha but this video is by far the BEST THANK YOU!!
Glad you liked it! I tried to do some unique things people GENUINELY might not know so I'm glad you got something out of it
Love this. Wish I had watched it before I started playing. That saddle tip is crazy good. Almost want to start over just to get it.
Haha next playthrough maybe. There's another way to get the saddle for free a bit later on after Ginger quest so no worries. You can still get it fairly early
We already knew this game had incredible depths to it, but videos like this just show how incredible this game actually is.
I'm almost 4500 hours into it and still discover new things every playthrough. It never stops!
Thanks Griff, I just started this game and I already love how immersive it is. Great video
It definately is! Hope you enjoy it! One of my favorites!
Been playing this since god knows how many years...and im glad i knew at least a couple beforehand and discovered them by myself
Tbh I've been playing since the game dropped 6 years ago and I still discover something new each playthrough
I have hundreds of hours in this game and learned three new things... Thanks dude you're awesome
Thanks! Glad you got something out of it!
@@Griff_Gamingand it's only 20 gold to bribe to guard to leave you alone.
Wow, it's a new video and genuinely I've learnt something new - the potion trick seems great! I've found out recently that while playing on the controler, if you hold left arrow Henry will automaticly equip torch - don't know if it's me who's slow but that was also life changing haha
Glad to hear it! I learn something new each playthrough so I'm glad I can help others do the same!
10/10 great video man. I've watched a few and yours was the only one that not only were all the tips incredibly useful but they were tips no one else has talked about. Bravo!
Thank you!! I'm glad it helped get you some actual advice! I was really hoping to avoid obvious stuff that everyone already knew so I'm glad I was able to do that!
i have 1500 hours in the game, i have done so many different things in this game, i have streamed it to hundreds of viewers and players, i have spoken with so many people about it.
i didn't know any of these 8 tips!
i knew that i can make marigold decoction without the fire, had no idea about the rest of the potions.
had no idea about the water.
had no idea about the saddle at skalitz
had no idea about the size of the sweet spot at the start of picking locks.
thanks for a very enlightning video
I'm happy you got so much out of it! Honestly, it's flattering that someone with that many hours can get something useful out of a guide like this!
you earned it superbly man.
@@Griff_Gaming
I havent played it. I just bought it on the PSN store for $2.99 lol. I didnt buy the DLC's though. Are they needed?
Ive been watching video after video and learning so many tips and tricks and honestly just playing the game has taught me twice the amount. Especially lockpicking.
After 1000+ hours in this game, I was convinced I knew everything there is to know about this game, I'm so untouchable in combat I literally don't even need to wear armor. Yet, you managed to teach me new things I wouldn't have otherwise discovered on my own
Kudos!
Always a pleasure when I can teach long time veterans a trick or 2! Glad it was helpful!
The most remarkable thing is kcd is relatively old at this point, and this video still generated 328k views. This game never ceases to amaze me.
In under a year! TRUST me when I say no one was more amazed than me lol
Stumbled through this when it first came out. Now on the train a lot for work so rebought it on switch of all things, glad I found this
Awesome! Glad you liked it!
legend. actual rarely known tips and tricks for KCD. this title is not click bait. thanks!
I'm glad you found it useful!
That water trick is going to be a game changer. Great tips, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed!!
So much original info and tips I've never heard about. Great work :D
Thank you! Glad you got something out of it!
Maybe but if they are new they won't really know what they are looking at 🤷♂️ especially because that's not even close to "passing" the quest (falling down the side and killing the first person I see)
I like to help pious out
This wasn't a spoiler for me until you pointed it out. Thanks a lot.
@@PeterTeal77 I am terribly sorry. I will proceed to lock myself in the monastery's dungeons and read the Rules of St. Benedict again
Recently continued a save I started way back in 2020, and scrolled through a lot of guides. This is one of my favorites 👌👌
Thank you, glad it helped!
350+ hours invested into the game and I have never thought about the drinking water trick. I did try it with the cauldron though but the time the effects last were significantly reduced
That bird hunt quest! I made him repeat that bird cry like 20 times 😂
I still do lol such an awesome line!
Currently on my first hardcore playthrough I'm loving it. So much better.
Love playing on HC mode!
I play this game so many times and I never thought about using the potions on the water. I've never even used the potions on food. The only time I've ever used a potion is to poison the sword I'm using
As for the guard stopping you to check for stolen goods, I never thought of that either. What I would just do is ignore them all together and just keep moving until I got to my home chest and put everything in there period of course after that I have noticed immediately I wanted after that. I never thought about just fighting them off and then surrendering. Because I always thought that would not work
See now I have to go back and start over and get that nobleman saddle for free
Glad to be of help and see you learned a lot! I'm always learning new things too so happy to share my knowledge of this game!!
One of the best yet most underrated RPGs ever. People need to know about it.
I'm doing all I can to get the word out! Lol
I havent played it. I just bought it on the PSN store for $2.99 lol. I didnt buy the DLC's though. Are they needed?
Wow, great tips. I just started playing KCD and I knew from the start that this will be one of my fave games of all times. It’s challenging yes, but it offers you different ways to deal with quests… How did I missed this gem before.
It's was missed by quite a few people so don't feel bad. I think the sequel trailer made this game explode with popularity! Enjoy! This is a fantastic game!!
Pro tip for hardcore mode, the cracks on the compass can be used to determine the four cardinal directions.
For sure! Great tip!
I like to play with a no hud mod makes it more immersive. I have to look at the sky to see which way I’m facing
@@dylanarmour6727 Youre braver than me. I enjoy difficulty, but I also enjoy my sanity.
You saved me lots of money because of your tip by using drinking water! You are the KDC genious! Thanks man!
Awesome, glad it helped!!
Amazing after hundreds of hours I actually learned something useful, great video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
I seriously never knew about the water. God damn! Nice!
Dude!!!!! The bird cage map trick literally is going to stop me from quitting hardcore mode. I was getting just a bit too intimidated by constantly having to orient myself, I am terrible with directions in real life in game….. I was actually doing okay, but sometimes found it a bit tedious having to keep track of where I was.
Awesome, glad it was helpful and encouraged you to continue the HC run!
Its mostly easier/quicker to just bribe/ haggle price with guards that ask to search u... they take the money and leave... plus if u dont want to do that, it can be good to let the guard take yer stolen loot, then that guard has everything and u can farm pickpocketing by just following and pickpocketing the guard that stopped u
man those are crazy good tips. youre smart as hell, you wouldve been a good medieval survivor
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed!
By far the best tips and tricks video I’ve ever seen
Thank you, glad you enjoyed!
Washing stolen gear through peschek and then stealing your money back after purchasing it is absolutely genius. SUBSCRIBED SIR
Thank you!!
Great tips! I've been thinking about playing this game again, these are gonna be useful on a fresh playthrough!
Absolutely! Glad you enjoyed!
Really helpful video, thanks Griff!
You got it! Thanks for watching!
That trick with the drinking water is amazing. I had no idea.
there ya go! it definitely helps!!
very nice, thanks
Glad you liked it!
I've been playing the game since about a year after it came out. I didnt know about rhe potion thing in the beginning and the saddle thing at the end. Both are extremely useful.
Glad you enjoyed!
Well....well.... Looks like even an old veteran player like me can still learn something new from this game....... very intriguing indeed.
Happy to hear it!
Hey, I saw Warhorse Studios promoting this video on twitt-- I mean X! Great to see more content!
I saw that! So honored they saw and promoted it! Glad you enjoyed!!
There's something hilarious about the NPCs wandering around picking up things that have been dropped on the floor
My fav is the guards arrest you for picking something off the floor then they go around and loot everything saying, "Who would leave this lying around?"
"ME, moth****cker because I didn't want you to see it in my inventory when you searched me!" Lol
Plated KCD when it came out and had to drop it, other things to do and getting back into building up the character was a chore I didn't want to take on again. Started again last week and I had forgotten how good the game was. It's been a long time since a game made me stay up late to see what was next.
If you haven't played it since it came out its changed a lot! Some visual bugs remain but most gane breaking bugs have been patched out!
Wow, these were really good. Only knew about the potion brewing.
Glad you enjoyed and hopefully it'll help you out next playthrough!
Solid tips... never seen the drinking water or saddle trick. To far into the game to use the saddle trick
Maybe on the next one but there's plenty of times within the game to get that saddle later in the playthrough. My 8 more tips and tricks vid shows another spot you can get it for free
before even watching, the best thing i ever found was practicing sword fighting a TON to have a decent chance at winning fights. it was so time consuming but very worth it
this sound that the Huntsman did at 9:53 is looped at my head when I was doing the quest XD
🤣🤣
I’ve played for 600 hours but knew none of these except lockpicks
Thank you a lot! Great video
Awesome, glad you enjoyed!
Outstanding tips!!! Thank you. Peace
Thank you!
Best way to make money - steal tons of things in Rattay (weapons/armor). Give it all to Peshek for free. Wait for a few days. Break into the barn, steal back all the items you gave him plus a ton of money he gained. Rinse and repeat.
@@jangiurg5295 how do u give it all for free
The chest has magic. You just place your stuff inside the chest and wait until all your stuff transform into money. I call it magic chest exploit. You completely bypass the middle man and stealing his money in the process.
Another trick, so as not to get searched with stolen gear, is to transfer it to your horse BEFORE leaving the building where you stole it. (It’s a strange quirk of the game, that it allows you to transfer stuff to your horse even when your horse is a long way away from where you are… The Developers presumably did that, to save you the hassle of walking back & forth to your horse endlessly, especially when overburdened with looted armour & other heavy items taken from the corpses of defeated Bandits & so forth?)
Either way, to be on the safe side, if you’re looting numerous shops in Rattay for example, do that with each one, then WALK out of the Town & - once you’re a safe distance outside - WHISTLE for your horse & ride off to your nearest Trunk.
It could be it's a distance thing so that might just work
@@Griff_Gaming horse as an accomplice in crime))
Wish i watched this before i just started a new playthrough. The 4 saddlebags would have been really nice rn.
Wow I have over 130 hours and I had no idea about most of these 😮 Great tips 👍
Awesome! Glad to hear it was helpful!
I still will from time to time with high level gear to raise speech skill and build their groschen pool to steal that later but most of the heavy cheap stuff (gambesons, chainmail, etc) I just let peshek do the work for me
@@Griff_Gaming also the horse backpack tip is outstanding, too bad I just passed that point in my new run
@marcobrino342 next time! Lol it can be stolen easily from Neuhof but requires some lockpick grinding first
@@Griff_Gaming Here is a tip for you. Every hour in game time, it takes away 5 groshen from the value of the stolen item. EX: If you have an item worth 20 groshen, it will take 4 in game hours for the red hand to disappear in the inventory.
Thanks for content and tips!
Thanks for watching!
Either a glitch or a crash but it's still fantastic regardless of that
Is it possible to get the noble saddle also later in the game? Preferibly not by buying it ?
Yes, i have another guide with 8 more tips that highlights other places for this saddle along with 2 shorts giving more alternatives!
Almost 500h in game, and just didn't know about most of tricks, GREAT video!
Glad you got something out of it!
