I feel like a lot of men think that lunges and swings are "girly" exercises that only women should do, while they are actually some of the toughest moves for legs and glutes and those who are not used to doing them can be quite surprised by how effective they are for strength and hypertrophy. Love/hate this one. Used 25's plus 15's held together for squats to make 40. Used 25's plus light band around wrists and stepped on the add resistance on Rdl's. By then I was dying so used 25's on lunges and swings. I think if I had 35's that would be good straight through.
Killer... Couldn't finish. I only just started working out and have been neglecting legs outside of my warmup routine including Burpees, Squats and Lunges. I have a long way to go. You do a great job in explaining and I really like that you run through the circuit with us. It is discouraging seeing everyone seem to breeze through a workout. Means a lot that you suffer through it with us.

I did this exercise the entire way through with a pair of 15 lb. dumbells. Then after going through the video once with you, I went through it again, on my own, with a pair of 5 lb. dumbells. Great leg workout.

Leg workout routine Dumbbells only (brutal!!) (3 total supersets) 15 reps- Dumbbell front squats 15 reps- Dumbbell romanian deadlifts (3 total sets) Dumbbell front lunges- 20 reps Dumbbell swings- 20 reps
This was brutal indeed. Great to watch. And this routine just shown is highly recommended for a killer leg workout. I know because I actually do it myself. But I do it with 25/30 lbs dumbbells. The thought of 40lbs or more unnerves me, for the moment. The kettlebell swing is a bit tricky for me. I have suffered sudden muscle spasms and awful aches in lower back from the somewhat jerky movement, especially at the top of the swing (when in the standing position). I still do the dumbbell swing, but somewhat cautiously. I want to see a good way to do the deadlift with heavy dumbbells.
Feel like throwing up after this haha!! This is not for the faint hearted.... Big ups tanner! By far the best leg work out that I'm going to regret in the morning during recovery!!! 😁 😁 😁

Im 15 and did it with two 7.5kg dumbbell, yes it’s the lighter side, but one day I’ll be able to do it with higher weight and without being dead at the end 💪
I just got a great training ideea. That farmer walk thing when you walk with dumbells in each hand but you walk up and down stairs. This way it's a leg and abs workout.
Great workout, I completed it...I usually do this as a warm up, then I go to the rack do sets of squats and then deadlifts...but took forced to get there...I learned and watched sagi kelivev body beast and did his program with great results...thanks for the video I dig your channel...I subscribed...

i did this twice in a row. rested 2 mins between each round. i can barely breathe now but haven't felt that good after a workout in a while now.

I have a 4 story house, and do that as a finisher. You can change it up also by taking 2 or even 3 stairs at a time. I also walk sideways up.
