- Here we go, how to roll a bounce house combo waterslide! This was the most requested video, so please enjoy!
I developed this technique, and all these little tips and tricks over the years of running my bounce house business, The Jump Off. One day I was training a new employee, and we were rolling this exact slide, and I decided in that moment that I was going to start the UA-cam channel based on teaching my bounce house business techniques!
We shot a poor quality test video that is still set to private (maybe for a TBT I'll post it one day ;-) and I sent it to the Bounce House Operators FB group and a few other operators that I was mentoring, and the response was incredible! It was that evening I knew I had found my next project...YOU!
Excuse the poor audio, my mic was jacked...and I also lost a piece of the footage where I start the roll and the technique on how I do that...but true to myself, I decided to JUST GO and publish it as is :-)

Nick quit his 16 year "career" as as a District Manager for Journeys shoes in August 2019, and while he worked to scale The Jump Off, he drove uber, sold trash that he found on the side of the road, and picked up as many odd jobs (like building swing sets) as he could.
Then in late 2019, Nick hit "The Bounce House lottery" (originleadersh...) and when the pandemic shut everything down in 2020, he sprung into action and took that moment to make The Jump Off what it is today!

I wish I would have seen this video 4 hours ago. Lol. I just received my first three inflatables today by fed ex and decided to blow up my 14’x14’ standard bounce house. Took about 10 minutes to set up but 2 hours and several attempts to get it rolled up tight enough to get the straps back on. Super excited to try it this way next time. OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

What I figured out is that I was doing a quad fold instead of a trifold.

Not only was this video educational. But entertaining as well, can tell you've been doing this a while. I have an inflatable tent 14*15*12h any suggestions for rolling that better? Just got it and attempted first roll up 🤦🏻♂️

I roll the bounce house all the way. Put the straps under the opposite side you do, then unroll a little, do the “flap” and pull the straps thru.
It helps with making a nicer flap

Yep Jungle Jumps. Technically it’s a spacewalk unit but Jungle Jumps manufacturers there stuff so one in the same! I have a BUNCH of jungle jumps stuff.

It’s an attachment and you use the blower backwards. It’s ok not that effective

Hey nick!!! Just started fallowing you on here! I started researching the bounce house business about a month ago and I’m seriously thinking about giving it a go. I plan to start with 4 inflatables for now. My question is. Right now I have a 5x8 trailer. Do you think it would be enough to start off with? How wide is that trailer that you just loaded onto? Yep you’re good to start! Run with that until you’re too busy then by 7’ x 16’ tandem axle With electric brakes. Future proof yourslef plus buy once cry once. We have three 7’x 16’s now and the 6’x14’ just sits

Hey man quick question if the side gate of a house is narrow for the slide to fit how do you make it fit?
We call it the smoosh and push. You lay the unit down, jump on it, and the squeeze it thru since it’s skinneer

You bet man!! I HAVE rolled it alone the same way but it’s got to be a perfect fold for my little ass to roll the big part of the fold. 98% of the tome we take 2 people for it

Couple things Nick. I noticed you didn't use a tarp on the concrete isn't it more likely to get damaged on the concrete without a tarp? I have bags for mine at least my bounce house and my combo. do you not have bags or are they just too much work? Thank you in advance
It was just blown up on concrete to clean it! But I still don’t tarp them on concrete, just on grass or gravel. And yep I sandbag them at all rentals on concrete
Thank you but I didn't mean sandbags I have covers did I put it over to Inflatables after I roll them all of ours are brand new so the wife wants to put them in bags. Is it a waste of time?
The bags are from the manufacturer same material as the inflatable

It's not too heavy, you just havent moved anything that big yet. We have multiple waterslides that are 800 lbs we move just fine

I tried to use 2 regular dollys for a water slide. Man them 300lbs water slides are no joke.

Yeah the super mover is LEGIT and it’s the best “starter” dolly out there hands down because it’s so much more affordable. It’s about $585 as of last week when I was at Spacewalk HQ. They’re selling them fast because of me haha so call them tomorrow!
