Hi I plan on buying one bounce to start with. When I get liability insurance do they provide the waiver for customers to sign? Or where and how do I go about creating a waiver?
Insurance agents usually have an example and list of things the contract must have. Every agent is different do asking them is best bet. I'm not an insurance agent so I can't specifically answer
Now if i rent a waterslide, someone twists their ankle walking from the patio to the inside of the house. But they decide to say it was twisted climbing up the ladder of the waterslide. I mean I'm all for being responsible for someone getting hurt on my equipment, but there are plenty of ppl out there that would do this. I mean should I take them at their word and just be willing to pony up money? Ik its insurance money, but I'd b paying for it. There's really no way to know for sure someone got hurt on my equipment. Also, would it be a good idea to have a line where the customer signs saying no one was hurt?
There is follow up questionares you can ask to help document stuff like that but I'm not an insurance agent and this is best answered by them for multiple reasons!
I recommend you do it legally to protect yourself and your assetts. Best bet is to contact a lawyer and CPA But as for running thw business you found the right channel to help you grow
It's hard to advise someone to start a business that collects money without notifying your local government because it's illegal to run a business without a DBA or LLC etc. The risk is on you.
Can I create a contact or waiver for customers to sign stating they are responsible for the safety of everyone if it is on their private property or do I have to get insured anyway?
you want to do both tbh! but always consult your lawyer and insurance agent for insurance questions. Join the facebook group for free advice and others contracts to look at!
Hello, I just called yesterday after seeing this video. I just started last year it’s still my side hustle rent a few times a year. I was was trying to get a quote but they said they don’t have anything under $10,000 dollars.
@@alexcossio9984 I submitted an app for one bouncer and someone named Shay says you all do not have a market for that at this time. Can I email you about this?
So you need multiple coverage's for random events or is this a ploy to get a sale for people to go with your insurance just like car insurance or warranties? What if we don't care about their medical bills if they didn't follow the rules and they happened to get injured "accidentally?" Why do we want to cover them out of the goodness of our hearts just because we have accident coverage and continue doing business with these people if parents could potentially harm their kids just for a payout? What do we need, to just cover the business and potential legal needs for the business if people are suing for no real reason or fake accidents? If the set up of the bounce house was correct and the bounce house was inspected by a pro how would the company be negligent? I thought a basic insurance premium would cover all that?
There are plenty of LESS than average home owners who would absolutely go this route. It would be crazy to take that chance. You really dont know anything about your customers just from a couple of conversations with them.
Made 165k this year and most people in the industry actually had record breaking years this year! People are staying home and partying instead of going out!
Seems to me like the more money you make the insurance just wants a bigger chunk I don't know am I stupid or does it sound like this guy's just a crook or the layout of the fees anyway....
Appreciate both of you! Hoping to start a business of it. Definitely wasn’t aware of this stuff which I’m grateful so I’m ahead of the game 🙏🏽
did you end up starting? Where ya from and what new content would you love to see?
Cool, this is helpful af. I'm trying to get my feet wet in this business so appreciate the info
